Marinaccio gave up a hit and a walk while striking out two in a scoreless ninth inning Saturday, recording his second save of the season in a 1-0 win over the Rangers.

Clay Holmes got the final two outs of the eighth inning after Wandy Peralta had created a bit of a mess, and with Michael King struggling of late, Marinaccio was summoned in the ninth instead to close things out. The second-year righty has earned his spot in the Yankees' high-leverage crew by not allowing an earned run since May 26, and over his last 12 appearances, Marinaccio has a 1.32 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 17:6 K:BB through 13.2 innings.

Holmes struck out one while recording two outs to pick up his fifth hold of the season in Saturday's 1-0 win over the Rangers.

Wandy Peralta gave up two singles to lead off the eighth inning, forcing manager Aaron Boone to turn to his closer early to shut down the rally. Holmes did make things dicey, pushing a runner to third base with a wild pitch, but he struck out Josh Jung to end the frame. The right-hander has returned to form in June with a 1.00 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 10:3 K:BB through nine innings, but Boone's willingness to deploy Holmes in high-leverage spots outside the ninth will likely continue to cost him save chances -- through his nine appearances this month, he has four saves, two holds and one win.

Blanco allowed three runs on two hits and two walks while striking out six batters over six innings in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Saturday.

It looked like Blanco could be in for a rough outing when Los Angeles hit two homers and put up three runs in the first inning, but the right-hander didn't allow any runs or hits over the remainder of his start. He finished with the second quality start of his career, both of which have come over his past three appearances. Blanco got the start Saturday as a result of Brandon Bielak being demoted to the minors, and the former likely showed enough in recovering from the rough first frame to remain in the rotation. He's tentatively scheduled for a difficult matchup on the road against Texas his next time out.

Graveman (3-3) allowed an earned run on two walks and two hits while striking out two across one inning to earn the win Saturday against the Red Sox.

Graveman entered the game in the top of the ninth inning with a one-run lead. He got two outs without incident but then allowed an infield single before losing control of the strike zone and allowing the tying run to score. Even after lucking into a win, it was a subpar outing from Graveman. However, he's been very effective this season and entered Saturday's game having turned in scoreless efforts in 20 of his last 21 appearances. Given that track record, he should continue to get save chances as long as Liam Hendriks (elbow) is sidelined.

Clase picked up the save Saturday against Milwaukee. He allowed one hit while striking out two over a scoreless inning.

Clase took care of business Saturday, punching out two of the four batters he faced to lock down his 23rd save of the year, tied for the most in MLB. The outing extended his scoreless inning streak to 11 appearances (11.1 innings) and marked his sixth multi-strikeout performance in nine games.

Moore (oblique) told reporters Saturday that he won't be activated off the injured list Monday, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Moore threw a bullpen before Saturday's game against the Rockies, and he told reporters it went "OK" but not well enough to come off the 15-day IL come Monday. The left-hander said he needs at least one more session, and when that will come will be determined by how he feels Sunday. Once active, Moore should again be a high-leverage option for the Angels bullpen.

De Leon (elbow) told reporters after Saturday's game he will be placed on the 15-day injured list, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

De Leon will also undergo an MRI on his elbow, but he told reporters that he immediately knew there was something wrong and felt an "electric shock" while throwing a warm-up pitch. The Twins will likely place him on the injured list prior to Sunday's game against Detroit, likely alongside a corresponding roster move.

Lange walked one and struck out four over 1.1 scoreless and hitless innings to earn the save in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Twins.

Lange's had some uneven results in June, but he was at his best Saturday. The right-hander has surrendered three runs over his last five appearances, all of which came in a sloppy outing versus the Twins on June 18. Lange's now at a 3.82 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 42:17 K:BB while converting 12 of 14 save chances over 30.2 innings this season. He permits too many baserunners to be a dominant closer, but he's held his own fairly well in 2023.

De Leon left Saturday's game versus Detroit with an apparent injury, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

De Leon picked up the injury while warming up, and immediately ran off the mound. The right-hander will likely undergo testing to determine the severity of the injury.

Yarbrough (head) threw four scoreless innings in a rehab start for Triple-A Omaha on Saturday. He allowed four hits with three strikeouts.

It was the first Triple-A rehab start for Yarbrough since the left-hander suffered multiple fractures in head after being hit by a comebacker in the early portion of May. The 31-year-old is currently on the 60-day injured list and won't be eligible to return until July 8 at the earliest. Yarbrough will likely make at least three more rehab outing before having a chance to return to the Kansas City pitching staff around the All-Star break.
