White (elbow) will make a rehab start Wednesday for Triple-A Buffalo, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

White will make his second rehab appearance after throwing 3.1 shutout innings for Low-A Dunedin last Wednesday. The right-hander is being built up as a starter as he recovers from elbow inflammation that has sidelined him for the entirety of the 2023 campaign. White is scheduled to throw around 50 pitches Wednesday and should be fully stretched out after another rehab start or two, but he may not have a spot in the Toronto rotation waiting for him by the time he's ready to return from the 15-day injured list. The Blue Jays' top five starting pitchers are all healthy at the moment.

Abreu pitched one inning against Texas on Sunday, allowing six runs on two hits and four walks while striking out one batter.

Abreu had pitched well this season prior to Sunday, allowing just two earned runs -- both against Toronto on April 21 -- over 12.1 innings. His ERA took a huge hit Sunday, however, jumping from 1.46 to 5.40. The damage was largely due to his inability to find the zone, as he threw only 20 of 41 pitches for a strike and issued four free passes. In fact, the final three batters he faced all reached via walk and eventually came around to score. Abreu struggled with his control last season, posting a 12.8 percent walk rate across 38.2 frames, and he's already issued 10 free passes over his first 13.1 innings in 2023.

The Tigers claimed Bristo off waivers from the Rays on Monday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The Rays designated Bristo for assignment over the weekend and he has now latched onto another organization. Bristo, 28, tossed three scoreless relief innings for Tampa Bay in his major-league debut last month. He'll likely report to Triple-A Toledo to begin his tenure with his new organization.

Jackson (2-1) got the win against the Reds on Sunday, firing a scoreless ninth inning during which he allowed two hits and recorded two strikeouts.

Jackson labored some to preserve the 4-4 tie he'd entered the game under, allowing a single and double to Kevin Newman and Spencer Steer, respectively, to open the frame. However, he powered himself out of trouble with swinging strikeouts of Jonathan India and Tyler Stephenson before inducing an inning-ending groundout from Henry Ramos. Jackson was then rewarded with his resiliency via Esteury Ruiz's game-winning single in the home half of the ninth, giving him both his 2023 wins in addition to his first hold in the last four appearances.

Sewald (2-0) recorded the win in an extra-inning victory over the Blue Jays on Sunday, firing a scoreless ninth inning during which he allowed a hit and a walk.

Tasked with preserving an 8-8 tie when he entered in the ninth, Sewald successfully got the Mariners to extra innings despite having to work around some trouble. The right-hander was pitching on consecutive days for the first time since April 7-8, and he's essentially picked up where he left off during his successful 2022 -- Sewald has seven saves in addition to his two wins, and Sunday's scoreless effort lowered his ERA to an even 3.00 after he'd recently allowed an earned run apiece in back-to-back outings on April 22 and Tuesday.

Beeks (0-2) allowed five runs on four hits while managing to get through only two-thirds of an inning in the loss to the White Sox on Sunday.

Beeks came in to try and shut things down in the ninth with the Rays up 9-5 and put together an absolutely disastrous performance. Romy Gonzalez lined out to open up the inning and Beeks got a second out on a sacrifice fly, but he then allowed three singles, a double and hit a batter, which led to three runs for the Sox. He was replaced by Garrett Cleavinger with men on first and second, and he couldn't get bailed out after Cleavinger allowed an inherited runner to score on another base hit before surrendering a three-run walkoff blast to Andrew Vaughn. Beeks did not register a single whiff on 23 pitches and now has an inflated 7.43 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 8:8 K:BB over 13.1 innings.

Voth (1-1) walked two and struck out two over two scoreless and hitless innings, earning the win Sunday over the Tigers.

This was just the third time in 10 appearances this season that Voth wasn't changed with a run. All three of his scoreless efforts have come over his last four outings. The right-hander has a 5.52 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 14:4 K:BB across 14.2 innings as a low-leverage reliever this year. He's also picked up two holds. Voth's biggest problem has been home runs -- he gave up five long balls over his first five appearances but has since kept the ball in the yard.

Pressly struck out one batter in a perfect inning to earn a save over Philadelphia on Sunday.

Pressly needed just 13 pitches (nine strikes) to close out the 4-3 win. He didn't pick up his first save until April 21 but now has three in his last four outings. The veteran righty has also turned in six straight scoreless appearances, lowering his season ERA to 3.97 across 11.1 frames.

Estevez picked up the save during Sunday's 3-0 win over the Brewers, tossing a perfect ninth inning while striking out two.

Estevez entered with a a three-run lead and retired William Contreras, Brian Anderson and Rowdy Tellez in order, including back-to-back strikeouts to start the frame. The right-hander is a perfect 6-for-6 in save opportunities and is currently the Angels' top closer with Jose Quijada (elbow) and Ryan Tepera (shoulder) on the injured list.

Cano picked up the save during Sunday's 5-3 win over Detroit, tossing 1.1 perfect innings while striking out two.

Cano entered a 4-3 game in the eighth with two on and two out. He struck out Jake Rogers to escape the jam, and with Felix Bautista likely unavailable after pitching three of the last four days, Cano came back out for the ninth. He retired Andy Ibanez, Zach McKinstry and Riley Greene in order to secure his second save in as many tries. Cano hasn't allowed a hit, run or walk across nine outings (11 innings) and has 12 strikeouts.
