Cordero will be on the Yankees' Opening Day roster, Randy Miller of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said last week that Cordero was "in a good spot" to break camp with the club, and that's now been made official. The right-handed hurler has impressed this spring, posting a 4.00 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 9:1 K:BB over nine innings. He'll likely begin the campaign working in low-leverage situations.

The Royals optioned Snider to Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday.

Snider had a solid spring, allowing three earned runs and striking out 10 batters over 7.2 innings, but he will need to prove he can maintain similar levels of success before rejoining the Royals. The 27-year-old reliever put up a 6.55 ERA and 1.60 WHIP through 34.1 innings in the majors last season.

The Yankees reassigned Hamilton to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday, Greg Joyce of the New York Post reports.

Hamilton did not make the Opening Day roster, but he has an opt-out and the Yanks could add him to the 40-man roster and option him in order to keep him around. The 27-year-old was unscored upon in seven appearances this spring.

The Yankees optioned Weissert to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday, Marly Rivera of ESPN.com reports.

The 28-year-old was one of the last cuts as he came up just shy of making the Opening Day bullpen. Weissert doesn't have anything left to prove in the minors and could be the first reliever summoned when one is needed.

Curry is expected to make the Guardians' Opening Day bullpen, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

He'll take the spot of Hunter Gaddis, who is moving into the rotation to replace Triston McKenzie (shoulder). Curry is a starter by trade but will be able to provide some length in Cleveland's bullpen.

Jansen (illness) made a scoreless appearance Monday versus Atlanta during Grapefruit League play during his return to action.

Jansen loaded the bases on a hit and a couple walks but was able to escape unscathed by inducing an inning-ending double-play ball. The closer had exited his previous appearance due to lightheadedness, but he's fine now and will be ready to roll on Opening Day.

Jackson agreed to a split major-league contract with the Blue Jays on Tuesday, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The 35-year-old was released by Toronto over the weekend but is now back with the club on a split deal. Jackson allowed seven hits with a 13:2 K:BB across 9.1 scoreless frames during spring training, and he'll likely be near the top of the list of potential call-ups for the Blue Jays.

Crochet (elbow) threw a live bullpen Friday and will throw another session Monday, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Crochet received positive reviews for his bullpen Friday, and it's a positive sign that he's able to throw again a few days later. The southpaw missed the 2022 season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, and he will assuredly open the 2023 campaign on the injured list. When healthy, Crochet has shown electric stuff, and he likely will be a high-leverage option for the White Sox when he does return in the coming weeks.

Oller (illness) has been informed he's made the Opening Day roster, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Oller will be a part of the A's to begin the season, but the role that he'll have is undefined at this point. Oakland is also planning to carry JP Sears, but Athletics manager Mark Kotsay says the team won't name a fifth starter at this point. It's possible that Oller will be a rotation option, but the right-hander also could be working out of the bullpen in 2023. He's expected to be ready for the start of the season after being scratched Saturday because of symptoms of vertigo.

Wantz will be a part of the Angels' Opening Day roster, Adrian Garro of MLB.com reports.

Wantz made the decision easy for the Angels with a 0.00 ERA and 1.10 WHIP over 6.1 innings in the Cactus League. The 27-year-old right-hander will be a middle-innings option for the Angels to open the 2023 season.
