Jordan Leasure P | CHW
White Sox's Jordan Leasure: Picks up second save
Leasure earned the save in Wednesday's 2-1 win over Toronto, allowing one hit while striking out two in a scoreless ninth inning.
He made quick work of the Blue Jays after Grant Taylor successfully faced down Bo Bichette and Vladimir Guerrero in the eighth inning, with Leasure striking out the first two batters he faced before working around an Alejandro Kirk single. It's the second save of the year for Leasure and his first since May 20. The 26-year-old right-hander sports a 4.18 ERA with a 1.55 WHIP and 39 strikeouts through 32.1 innings this season.

Ryan Burr RP | TOR
Blue Jays' Ryan Burr: Headed for MRI on shoulder
Burr exited Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the White Sox with a shoulder injury and will travel back to Toronto to undergo an MRI, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.
Burr missed most of the first half of the season with a shoulder injury and recently returned from the 60-day injured list to make his 2025 debut in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Angels. The righty threw 15 pitches Wednesday, recording two outs without allowing a baserunner before exiting due to the shoulder issue.

Keegan Akin RP | BAL
Orioles' Keegan Akin: Gets injection in shoulder
Orioles interim manager Tony Mansolino said Wednesday that Akin will be shut down 5-to-7 days after receiving an injection in his injured left shoulder, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
The hope is that the injection will speed along the healing process and allow Akin to begin a rehab assignment after the All-Star break. Akin has put up a 3.38 ERA and 38:18 K:BB over 38 innings out of the bullpen in 2025.

Ryan Burr RP | TOR
Blue Jays' Ryan Burr: Exits appearance with injury
Burr had to be removed from Wednesday's game against the White Sox in the seventh inning with an undisclosed injury, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.
Burr just returned from the 60-day injured list Sunday after being out all season with a right shoulder injury, so he could have experienced a setback. The Blue Jays should have more on his condition after the contest.

Nick Burdi RP | NYM
Red Sox's Nick Burdi: Transferred to 60-day IL
The Red Sox transferred Burdi (hip) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Wednesday.
The move frees a spot on the 40-man roster for designated hitter/outfielder Masataka Yoshida (shoulder), who was activated from the 60-day IL. Burdi originally went on the IL with a foot issue in early June, but he had a setback just over a week ago, when he suffered a hip injury. He won't be eligible to return until early August.

Anthony Misiewicz RP | CIN
Twins' Anthony Misiewicz: Added to roster
The Twins selected Misiewicz's contract from Triple-A St. Paul on Wednesday.
The Twins are swapping left-handed relievers, adding Misiewicz to the roster and designating Joey Wentz for assignment. Misiewicz held a 4.02 ERA and 29:10 K:BB over 31.1 innings this season with St. Paul. The 30-year-old has a career 4.67 ERA and 114:38 K:BB over 115.2 frames covering parts of five seasons at the big-league level.

Joey Wentz SP | ATL
Twins' Joey Wentz: DFA'd by Twins
The Twins designated Wentz for assignment Wednesday.
Minnesota claimed Wentz off waivers just under a month ago, and the southpaw was pummeled for 14 runs with a 6:9 K:BB over eight innings for the Twins. Fellow lefty Anthony Misiewicz was called up from Triple-A St. Paul to replace Wentz on the 40-man roster and in the big-league bullpen.

Cameron Booser SP | TB
White Sox's Cam Booser: Ready for rehab assignment
The White Sox sent Booser (shoulder) to Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday to begin a rehab assignment.
Booser has been cleared to pitch in games after missing the last two-plus weeks with a left shoulder strain. Because his absence has been relatively brief, Booser shouldn't require too many rehab outings before rejoining Chicago's bullpen.

Geoff Hartlieb RP | ATH
Yankees' Geoff Hartlieb: Loses 40-man roster spot
The Yankees designated Hartlieb for assignment Wednesday.
Hartlieb will give up his spot on the 40-man roster and 26-man active roster to right-hander Cam Schlittler, who was called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to start Wednesday's game against the Mariners. Hartlieb has made two appearances out of the Yankees bullpen this season, giving up six earned runs in 1.1 innings.

Manuel Rodriguez RP | TB
Rays' Manuel Rodriguez: Makes rehab appearance
Rodriguez (forearm) yielded one hit and struck out one over a scoreless frame in his first rehab appearance with Triple-A Durham on Tuesday.
It was Rodriguez's first outing in nearly a month, as he is working his way back from a right forearm strain. If all goes well, Rodriguez should have a shot to return before the All-Star break. He's collected a 2.08 ERA and 25:6 K:BB over 30.1 innings out of the Rays' bullpen this season.
