Borucki (2-0) recorded the win in a victory over the Rangers on Sunday, firing 1.1 scoreless innings during which he issued two walks and recorded a strikeout.

Borucki wasn't at his sharpest and labored a bit as a result, needing 27 pitches to record four outs. However, the southpaw served as an important bridge to the sixth inning after starter Chris Flexen, working on short rest, exited following 76 pitches. Sunday's appearance was the seventh consecutive scoreless effort for Borucki, and he's now recorded a win in two of his last three outings.

Puk (2-1) recorded the win over the Astros on Sunday, allowing one hit and recording a strikeout over a scoreless seventh inning.

The big left-hander was sharp, pounding 16 of his 21 pitches in for strikes while generating his fifth straight scoreless appearance. The streak comes in the immediate wake of Puk's roughest patch during what has been an impressive first half of the season overall, as he'd pitched to a 7.71 ERA across 4.2 innings over four outings between June 25 and July 2.

Mayza (3-0) picked up the win Sunday against the Royals, striking out two batters over 1.2 perfect innings of relief.

The southpaw took over for Jose Berrios with two on and one out in the seventh inning and the score tied 2-2, and he had little trouble shutting down the rally and cruising through the next frame. Mayza then got rewarded for his efforts when Alejandro Kirk launched a game-winning two-run shot in the bottom of the eighth. Mayza has been scored upon only once in his last nine appearances, and he'll take a 2.54 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 23:8 K:BB through 28.1 innings into the All-Star break.

Jimenez (shoulder) will throw a bullpen session Wednesday at the Athletics' spring training facility in Arizona and eventually embark on a rehab assignment, Matt Kawahara of The San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The right-hander continues a deliberate recovery process that now projects to extend well past a month, considering he went on the injured list June 21. Jimenez has been building up his throwing distance recently and seems to have steered clear of setbacks thus far, but manager Mark Kotsay would only say Jimenez's rehab assignment will commence "when he's ready" as opposed to providing a tangible target date.

Beeks (leg) is expected to return from the 15-day injured list when first eligible, Marc Topkins of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Beeks was placed on the injured list Sunday but the stint was retroactive to July 15, putting Beeks in line for a potential return on July 30. He has served primarily as a multi-inning reliever and opener this season for the Rays, maintaining a 2.48 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 49:14 K:BB across 40 frames.

The Royals reinstated Coleman (personal) from the restricted list Monday.

Coleman was one of 10 Royals players who will rejoin the 26-man active roster after being ineligible to play during the four-game weekend series in Toronto due his vaccination status. He closed the Royals' first-half schedule with a 3.13 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 38:28 K:BB across 37.1 innings in relief while scooping up two wins and seven holds.

Otto (4-6) gave up three earned runs on five hits and a walk while striking out four over six innings to take the loss in a 6-2 defeat to the Mariners on Sunday.

Otto gave up a couple of homer runs but held the red-hot Mariners to three runs to earn his third quality start of the season. Otto came into the game with a bloated 6.08 ERA in July so the quality start could help him to build some positive momentum for the second half. Opponents are hitting .306 on his fastball which averages only 93 mph, so he could find more success if he uses his slider more often. Otto struggled in his last start against the Athletics, but he will have a chance to redeem himself against one of the league's worst offenses in his next expected start Friday at Oakland.

Mills (0-1) allowed two runs on two hits and struck out two in one inning to take the loss Sunday versus the Blue Jays.

Mills has allowed runs in only two of his seven appearances with the Royals, but both of those outings have seen him tagged for two runs. He gave up a two-run home run to Alejandro Kirk in Sunday's contest, and the Royals couldn't get the right-hander off the hook. Mills now has a 4.70 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 16:5 K:BB in 15.1 innings between the Royals and the Mariners this season, and he should continue to see a low-leverage role.

Trivino picked up the save, striking out two batters in a perfect ninth inning of a 4-3 victory Sunday in Houston.

Trivino punched out the first two batters he faced and got Jose Altuve to ground out to end the game. Since Dany Jimenez (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day injured list, Trivino has been solid in the closer role, going 6-for-7 in save chances with a 2.79 ERA and an 11:4 K:BB in 9.2 innings despite allowing 18 baserunners in that span. Jimenez struggled mightily before his injury and has yet to begin a rehab assignment, so Trivino could continue to get save chances after the All-Star break.

Oller allowed three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out three over 4.1 innings Sunday in a 4-3 win in Houston. He did not factor into the decision.

Oller struggled in the first and fifth innings, giving up homers in each frame. In between those innings, he allowed two hits and fanned three batters. It was the first big-league start for the 27-year-old since giving up eight runs on May 14. He was recalled from Triple-A before the outing after pitching well as a starter in the minors with a 3.69 ERA over seven starts. In the majors, however, he now has a 10.89 ERA in 19 innings across five starts.
