Fleming was recalled from Triple-A Durham on Sunday, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

The 26-year-old was demoted after giving up four runs (three earned) over five innings July 4 against the Red Sox, but he'll rejoin the big-league roster with Jeffrey Springs (lower leg) placed on the 15-day injured list. The Rays haven't officially announced their updated pitching plans as a result of Springs' movement to the IL, but Fleming appears set to start or serve as a primary pitcher out of the bullpen Monday versus the Red Sox.

Logue (3-4) earned the win against the Astros on Saturday, allowing two runs on three hits while striking out two and walking one over five innings.

Logue threw 46 of 75 pitches for strikes in Saturday's outing to earn his third win of the season. It was his first appearance since May 28 and came after allowing 11 earned runs across his last seven innings. Logue's ERA ballooned from 2.04 to 5.47 during that span, but it now sits at 5.16.

The Tigers recalled Carlton from Triple-A Toledo on Sunday.

Carlton will provide Detroit with some length out of the bullpen after multi-inning option Wily Peralta (hamstring) was recently placed on the 15-day injured list. The Tigers demoted Saturday's starting pitcher, Garrett Hill, to Triple-A to clear room on the active roster for Carlton, whose most recent appearance with the big club was a three-inning, four-strikeout effort against the Twins on May 31.

Martin picked up the save with a perfect inning in Saturday's 9-7 win over Minnesota. He didn't strike out any batters.

Martin earned the save after inducing two groundouts and a flyout. He needed 10 pitches to help the Rangers secure a win. It was Martin's second save of the season and gives him a save in back-to-back appearances. He has not allowed a run since May 29 and has lowered his ERA from 4.67 to 3.00 during that span.

The Tigers optioned Hill to Triple-A Toledo on Sunday.

Prior to Hill's July 3 call-up from Toledo, manager A.J. Hinch said the rookie would receive three turns through the rotation prior to the All-Star break. However, Hill looks like he'll end up getting just two starts, as he was sent back to the minors after getting crushed by the White Sox for six earned runs on six hits and two walks over five innings in a losing effort in his second career big-league outing. The Tigers now have an opening in the rotation for Thursday's game in Cleveland, and while Hill could still be a candidate to fill the void, Detroit would have to place another player on the injured list in a corresponding move to facilitate the 26-year-old's return to the 26-man active roster.

Duran (0-3) took the loss in Saturday's 9-7 loss against Texas, allowing two runs on three hits while striking out none and walking one over one inning.

Duran gave up the game-tying and game-winning runs for the Rangers in the eighth inning on a Marcus Semien RBI triple and a Mitch Garver RBI single. Those two runs were the first Duran has allowed since June 9. The righty had reduced his ERA to 1.95 prior to Saturday's contest, but it now sits at 2.37.

The Orioles optioned Zimmermann to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday.

After making 13 starts for the Orioles before losing his spot in the rotation and getting optioned to Triple-A on June 16, Zimmermann rejoined the big club Saturday. He worked in a relief role during his one-day stint with Baltimore, covering a scoreless frame out of the bullpen in Saturday's 1-0 win over the Angels en route to claiming a hold. Baltimore will replace him on its pitching staff with Rico Garcia, whose contract was selected from Norfolk ahead of Sunday's series finale.

The Orioles outrighted Diplan to Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday.

Diplan will stick in the organization after he went unclaimed upon being exposed to waivers a few days earlier. Prior to being cast off Baltimore's 40-man roster, Diplan made five appearances out of the big-league bullpen this season and gave up an earned run while striking out eight over 5.2 innings.

The Orioles transferred Lakins (elbow) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Sunday.

Lakins has been on the injured list since May 20 and wasn't on track to return before the All-Star break, so the Orioles opted to move him to the 60-day IL in order to free up a spot on the 40-man roster for right-handed reliever Rico Garcia. Though he'll be eligible to return immediately after the All-Star break, Lakins has yet to begin a minor-league rehab assignment, so his absence could end up stretching into August.

Smeltzer did not factor into the decision Saturday against the Rangers, allowing seven runs on eight hits while striking out two and walking three across 3.1 innings.

Smeltzer had two rough innings Saturday, allowing three runs in the second inning and four runs in the fourth before being pulled. All seven of the runs Smeltzer allowed came on home runs. The lefty threw 50 of 81 pitches for strikes across 3.1 frames. It was arguably his worst outing of the year and ballooned his ERA to 3.92. Smeltzer has given up six home runs over his past two starts.
