Logue (1-0) got the win during Tuesday's 2-1 victory over the Orioles, allowing one hit and one walk with one strikeout in 1.1 innings.

Making his major-league debut, Logue followed starter Cole Irvin and tossed a 1-2-3 sixth inning. He fell in line for the victory when Oakland took the lead and stayed in for the seventh but was pulled after surrendering two baserunners while recording one out. His role is yet to be defined and could be marginal, though Tuesday's performance is a great start.

Alexander (0-1) took the loss Tuesday against the Yankees after giving up two runs (zero earned) on one hit with two strikeouts and two walks over one inning.

The left-hander needed 42 pitches to get through the opening frame and was victimized by his own error on an infield popup, which allowed two unearned runs to score. There were no health concerns for Alexander, but manager A.J. Hinch opted to utilize a well-rested bullpen after the arduous first inning. The 27-year-old lines up for a start against the Rockies on Sunday, and he should retain his rotation spot for the foreseeable future with Casey Mize (elbow) on the injured list and Matt Manning (shoulder) likely to miss at least one start.

Chapman had one strikeout and didn't allow a baserunner during the ninth inning to record the save Tuesday against the Tigers.

The veteran left-hander had walked four batters and recorded only one out in his past two appearances, but he had no issues Tuesday and retired the side in order with only nine pitches. Chapman was shaky of late but had no real damage done and he has yet to allow an earned run or a hit this season while converting both of his save chances.

Ortega (1-1) earned the win, allowing a walk and no runs in two innings in a 7-2 victory Tuesday in Houston.

Ortega entered the game in the fifth inning with the Angels leading 7-1. He faced the top of the lineup in the fifth and retired them in order. Following a Yordan Alvarez walk to start the sixth, he retired the next three batters. After allowing two runs in his first appearance in 2022, the 25-year-old has not allowed a run in six innings. He has, however, walked four and only struck out two in that span.

Duffey (0-2) took the loss after allowing two runs on three hits with two strikeouts in one inning in a 4-3 loss Tuesday in Kansas City.

Duffey gave up solo homers to Salvador Perez and Hunter Dozier in the sixth inning. With the Twins leading 3-2 when Duffey entered, it was technically a blown save, his second of the season. The 31-year-old has pitched in the sixth or seventh innings in each appearance since his blown save April 9. Minnesota has yet to have any pitcher record a save in 2022 and it is unclear who will be given those opportunities when they arise.

Staumont earned the save while recording a walk and a strikeout in the ninth inning of a 4-3 win Tuesday over Minnesota.

Staumont threw more balls than strikes but was able to preserve the lead and earn his second save of the season. The righty has been called upon to close out the game in the last two contests for the Royals and is the lone member of the Kansas City bullpen to record a save. Incumbent closer Scott Barlow pitched the eighth inning and earned a hold for the second straight game.

Hernandez allowed three runs on eight hits and a walk with zero strikeouts in 4.1 innings in a 4-3 win Tuesday over Minnesota. He did not factor into the decision.

Hernandez was lucky to only give up three runs after allowing four extra-base hits and failing to record a strikeout. He managed to get through the first three innings without surrendering a run but luck caught up to him in the fourth and fifth innings. After a promising rookie campaign, the 25-year-old has struggled to start this season, allowing 14 hits and striking out just one batter in 8.2 innings.

Kittredge got the save after he tossed two perfect innings while striking out two batters to end Tuesday's win over the Cubs.

Kittredge was called upon to get a six-out save Tuesday and he didn't even break a sweat, retiring all six batters he faced. He's off to a hot start this season, surrendering just one run over six innings while striking out eight, picking up two saves and a victory in the process. The 32-year-old appears to be in line for a career-year in 2022, operating as the Rays' preferred ninth-inning option.

Fleming (2-1) got the win Tuesday after pitching 3.1 innings out of the bullpen, surrendering three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out two in the victory over the Cubs.

Fleming followed Matt Wisler, who opened the game Tuesday. All of the damage against Fleming was done in the bottom of the fourth frame as he gave up an RBI double to Frank Schwindel before Patrick Wisdom scored him on a long ball, narrowing the Rays' lead to 4-3. Fleming produced a 5.09 ERA and 1.35 WHIP over 104.1 innings in 2021 and he's put together a 5.40 ERA and and 1.60 WHIP over 10 frames to start 2022.

Diplan was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday.

Diplan had his contract selected by Baltimore on Sunday and will return to the minors after allowing an unearned run on two hits over one-third of an inning during his lone appearance. The 25-year-old will be in the mix to be recalled when the Orioles require bullpen depth throughout the season.
