Baker earned the save in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Marlins, allowing one hit without recording a walk or strikeout in a scoreless ninth inning.

Baker was called on to close out a three-run lead and worked around a leadoff single to do so on 10 pitches. It was an encouraging outing after the 31-year-old entered the contest having allowed runs in back-to-back appearances, including a blown save Wednesday. For the year, he's 12-for-15 in save chances with a 2.79 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 23:8 K:BB across 19.1 innings.

Ragans (elbow) felt good after throwing a 30-pitch bullpen session Sunday, Jaylon T. Thompson of The Kansas City Star reports.

The left-hander landed on the injured list with an elbow impingement after his May 6 start against Cleveland, but he was only briefly shut down from throwing and is now back to mound work. Ragans will be eligible to be reinstated during next weekend's series versus the Mariners, though it remains to be seen if he'll require a rehab assignment before returning from the IL.

Berroa is dealing with right elbow inflammation and will have his rehab stint paused, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports.

Berroa underwent Tommy John surgery last March and was just recently cleared to begin a rehab assignment. He begin that stint with Chicago's Arizona Complex League club Wednesday but threw only four pitches (all balls) before being removed. It's unclear when he'll be able to resume throwing.

The Tigers activated Vest (forearm) from the 15-day IL on Sunday, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.

Vest will return after missing three weeks due to a forearm injury. He should immediately slot into a high-leverage role and will look to rebound from a rough start to the season, as he posted a 6.17 ERA and 1.46 WHIP over 13 appearances before being sidelined. Ty Madden is headed to the IL due to a bruised forearm, clearing a spot on the 26-man roster for Vest.

Baltimore optioned Walker to Triple-A Norfolk following Saturday's game against Washington.

Walker was called up from Norfolk last Monday and made three appearances for the Orioles, allowing two runs on three hits with a 5:2 K:BB over four innings. He threw 30 pitches Saturday, so Baltimore opted to send him back to the minors in favor of a fresh arm. Righty reliever Cameron Foster was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move.

The Blue Jays placed Nance on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to right forearm discomfort.

Nance tossed a clean inning with one strikeout Saturday versus Detroit, but he appears to have come away from that outing with a sore forearm. The right-hander has been working primarily in low-leverage situations for Toronto, notching one hold while posting a 3.86 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 25:8 K:BB over 21 innings spanning 20 appearances. Lefty reliever Adam Macko was called up from Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday to take Nance's spot in the big-league bullpen.

Finnegan allowed a solo home run and a walk in an inning of relief in Saturday's 2-1, 10-inning loss to the Blue Jays.

Finnegan came on in the seventh inning with Detroit up 1-0 but promptly served up a game-tying home run to Yohendrick Pinango. That gave Finnegan his third blown save in his last four outings, although none of them have come in the ninth inning. The righty reliever started the year with 11 straight scoreless appearances, and he's got a stellar 1.66 ERA overall, but he has allowed three earned runs over that four-game skid.

Soriano (6-3) allowed six runs on one hit, six walks and one hit batsman while striking out six over 5.1 innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Dodgers.

On one hand, holding the Dodgers to a single hit is impressive, but they often didn't have to take the bat off their shoulders to reach base. Soriano landed just 48 of 92 pitches for strikes, though he still racked up 16 whiffs on 36 swings. It was the freebies that ultimately ruined the outing, particularly in the sixth inning -- of the last five batters he faced, he walked four and plunked one. That forced in two runs, and Chase Silseth allowed all three inherited runners to score, as well. The six runs allowed are a season high for Soriano, though he still has a 2.41 ERA with a 1.07 WHIP and 67:26 K:BB through 59.2 innings over 10 starts. He's allowed 12 runs over 17 innings in May, so the early magic looks to be wearing off.

Berroa (elbow) was pulled from his rehab outing with the ACL White Sox after only four pitches Wednesday, MLB.com reports.

Berroa is returning from Tommy John surgery, but he was pulled in his first rehab outing after throwing four consecutive balls. The White Sox haven't specified that the current issue is an aggravation of his elbow injury, but he isn't likely to return until at least late June or early July at this point.

Chapman earned a save against Atlanta on Saturday, walking two batters over one hitless and scoreless inning.

Chapman entered in the ninth frame with the task of protecting a one-run lead. He nearly let his wildness get the best of him, as the veteran closer threw just 10 of 20 pitches for strikes and issued two free passes. However, Chapman used his athleticism to escape with the save, corralling a batted ball that ricocheted off his foot and bounced toward the foul line and tossing it to first base to get the final out. The left-hander is 10-for-10 in save chances this season with a minuscule 0.57 ERA and 21:7 K:BB through 15.2 innings spanning 16 appearances.
