Peralta will remain on the Yankees' active roster after Tyler Wade was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday, Brendan Kuty of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Peralta was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Sunday, and he served as the 27th man during the team's doubleheader against the Mets. The southpaw didn't appear in either of the two games, but he'll remain in the major-league bullpen going forward. Peralta has posted a 5.32 ERA and 1.39 WHIP in 23.2 innings across 30 relief appearances this year.

Barnes secured the save, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out one across one inning against the Athletics on Sunday.

Barnes picked up his 19th save, although he allowed the tying run to get into scoring position before striking out Seth Brown to end the game. The closer has the second-most saves in the American League and is 19-for-23 in save opportunities. He has allowed just one earned run in 7.2 innings over his last eight appearances.

Pivetta (7-3) fired seven scoreless innings, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out 10 and earning the win over the Athletics on Sunday.

Pivetta took care of the Athletics on Sunday, striking out a season-high 10 batters in his longest outing of the season. He did not allow any extra-base hits in the game. The 28-year-old has a 4.09 ERA and a 1.27 WHIP with a team-leading 109 strikeouts in 92.1 innings. He has been very inconsistent in his last five starts, with two scoreless performances and two appearances in which he allowed six runs. His next start is tentatively scheduled for Saturday against Philadelphia.

Chapman (5-3) blew a save and took the loss in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Mets. He was charged with three runs on one hit and one walk while failing to record an out.

Chapman served up a solo shot to Pete Alonso to tie the game before hitting Michael Conforto with a pitch and walking Jeff McNeil. Both of those Mets came around to score after Lucas Luetge entered the game. In his last three appearances, Chapman has allowed nine earned runs in just 1.1 innings, shooting his ERA up to 4.71 on the year. He's blown four of his last nine save opportunities dating back to May 23.

Alexander (1-1) allowed one hit and one walk while striking out three over 2.1 scoreless innings to earn the win Sunday versus the White Sox.

Alexander entered the game after a short start from Matt Manning. The left-handed Alexander was effective in this appearance, his third straight without allowing a run. For the year, he owns a 4.38 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 35:7 K:BB across 37 innings. The 26-year-old continues to work in a bulk relief role -- he has just two holds in 24 outings.

Cisnero retired the only batter he faced to earn the save in Sunday's 6-5 win over the White Sox.

Gregory Soto began the ninth inning in a non-save situation, but he struggled to finish the game. Cisnero entered with one on and two outs, and he got Andrew Vaughn to line out. The right-hander hasn't given up a run in his last 9.2 innings, racking up two saves, four holds and a win in his last nine appearances. Overall, Cisnero has a 2.72 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 44:13 K:BB across 36.1 innings this year. He's up to four saves and 10 holds as part of Detroit's closer committee.

Valdez (back) was activated from the 10-day injured list Sunday.

Valdez landed on the shelf with a lower-back strain June 21 and will rejoin the Orioles without requiring a rehab assignment. The veteran righty is 8-for-12 in save chances with a 5.74 ERA and 1.65 WHIP this season. He could remain in the mix for high-leverage spots, but Paul Fry and Cole Sulser could be first up for saves since they have pitched better overall.

Ramirez fired three scoreless innings in a loss to the Rangers on Saturday, allowing a hit and a walk while recording four strikeouts.

Ramirez's current big-league stint continued unblemished Saturday, as he's now put together five scoreless frames across three appearances since being recalled from Triple-A Tacoma last Sunday. The right-hander boasts a 3.00 ERA and 0.67 WHIP across five appearances with the Mariners following a successful 2020 debut when he recorded three saves, one hold and a 2.61 ERA across 20.2 innings over 16 appearances.

Montero fired 2.2 scoreless innings during which he allowed a hit and recorded three strikeouts during a loss to the Rangers on Saturday.

The veteran reliever put together a much-needed resurgent effort following three straight appearances in which he allowed multiple earned runs and saw his season ERA balloon to 6.75. Despite his effectiveness Saturday, Montero is likely to see a fairly healthy dose of low-leverage assignments until he proves he's righted his ship over an extended period.

Fleming's recovery from a right calf strain has gone well, and manager Kevin Cash expects him to be activated off the injured list and available Tuesday against Cleveland, the Associated Press reports.

The left-hander will end up spending just the minimum 10 days on the IL if Cash's prognosis proves accurate. Michael Wacha is currently listed as the Rays' probable starter for Tuesday's game, but it's possible Cash eventually confirms the veteran and Fleming will operate in tandem for that game.
