Fulmer (4-4) allowed three runs on three hits in one inning Saturday in a blown save against Houston.

Fulmer entered the game in the sixth to nail down a 2-0 lead and coughed it up on a pair of home runs by Yordan Alvarez and Carlos Correa. It was the second blown save in eight opportunities this season for Fulmer, who saw his ERA balloon from 3.46 to 4.05. He's put up a solid 42:11 K:BB through 40 innings and should remain in the high-leverage mix for the Tigers.

Akin (0-4) was tagged with the loss Saturday against the Blue Jays after allowing six runs on seven hits and a walk while fanning three across 4.1 innings.

Akin has dropped each of his last four appearances and has allowed at least five earned runs in his last three contests, so he's been far from reliable when he steps on the mound. The southpaw owns an 8.61 ERA across five appearances this month, and he's scheduled to make his next start on the road against the Angels next week.

Abreu was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News reports.

Abreu made four relief appearances for the Yankees earlier in the year and posted a 2.08 ERA and 0.69 WHIP in 8.2 innings. He should serve mainly as a low-leverage reliever going forward after Zack Britton (hamstring) and Wandy Peralta (back) were placed on the injured list as part of a corresponding move.

Peralta was placed on the 10-day injured list with a low back strain Saturday, retroactive to June 23.

Peralta hasn't pitched since June 18, and he's apparently been dealing with a back issue that will force him to miss additional time. It's not yet clear whether he'll need to spend more than the minimum of 10 days on the shelf, but Albert Abreu and Brooks Kriske were recalled as part of a corresponding move.

Brasier (concussion) was cleared to play catch and resume baseball activities Saturday, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Brasier has been on the injured list since late March due to a calf strain, but he was shut down in early June and diagnosed with a concussion after he was hit on the side of the head by a line drive during a simulated game. The right-hander had been nearing his return to Boston's bullpen prior to his three-week shutdown, but it's not yet clear when he'll be able to return at this point.

Wilson (hamstring) is expected to make his third minor-league rehab appearance Sunday, Max Goodman of Sports Illustrated reports.

Wilson has done well in two rehab appearances with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre thus far, allowing no hits and one walk while striking out two over two innings. He could be activated by the Yankees early next week if Sunday's outing goes off without a hitch.

Hentges will start Sunday against the Twins instead of Saturday as previously scheduled, as Saturday's game has been postponed due to rain, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader in September. Logan Allen was scheduled to be called up to start Sunday, but Cleveland will simply push Hentges back by a day instead.

Chargois recorded one out and notched his seventh hold in a win over the White Sox on Friday.

A three-pitch tussle with Jose Abreu that culminated in a foul pop was all it took for Chargois to earn his seventh hold and extend his impressive stretch of pitching. Factoring in Friday's quick outing, Chargois hasn't allowed an earned run in 11 of 12 trips to the mound and has lowered his ERA and WHIP to an impressive 2.18 and 0.68, respectively.

Swanson (groin) has joined Triple-A Tacoma on its current road trip and will throw a bullpen session before officially jumping into a rehab assignment, the team's official site reports.

The right-hander got through a bullpen session earlier this week without any apparent setbacks, and he's now on the verge of his first taste of game action since May 28. Upon rejoining the big-league club Swanson may be inserted into some high-leverage scenarios fairly quickly, as he boasted an 0.69 ERA and 0.77 WHIP across 13.0 innings prior to the injury.

Anderson (elbow) threw off the bullpen mound at Tropicana Field on Saturday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Anderson has been throwing across the last several weeks, but the Rays haven't yet indicated when he could face live hitters or begin a rehab assignment. The right-hander felt good after his second bullpen session Saturday and hopes to return sometime in August, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.
