Puk (biceps) is scheduled to make another rehab appearance for Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday, Athletics manager Bob Melvin confirmed to Jim Duquette of MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM Monday.

There was a possibility the Athletics had seen enough from Puk over four appearances with the Aviators to deem him ready for activation, but after the left-hander gave up some hard contact in a rough outing Saturday versus Salt Lake, it appears the team wants to see if he can bounce back. Puk hasn't worked more than a single frame in any of his outings with Las Vegas, although he did throw 20 pitches in just two-thirds of an inning Saturday due to his struggles.

Hatch (elbow) is scheduled to make his second rehab start for Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.

Hatch will presumably get the green light to work deeper into Wednesday's outing after he was capped at three innings and 43 pitches in his 2021 debut May 20 versus Worcester. The right-hander acquitted himself well in the outing, throwing 29 pitches for strikeouts while whiffing four and limiting Worcester to two runs (one earned) on three hits and no walks. Hatch will likely need one additional rehab start after Wednesday before Toronto decides whether he's fit to return from the 60-day injured list.

The Blue Jays announced Thornton would start Monday's game against the Rays, Hazel Mae of Sportsnet reports.

Two of Thornton's 14 appearances on the season have come as a starter, though he's served as more of an opener on both occasions. Expect that trend to continue Monday, with Thornton likely to work between two or three innings before turning the game over to the bull. Ross Stripling was initially lined up to start Monday, so he could end up acting as a primary pitcher out of the bullpen if Toronto elects to go that route.

Karinchak (2-1) was tagged with the loss Sunday against the Blue Jays after allowing three runs (two earned) on one hit and a walk. He didn't record a single out before leaving the game.

Karinchak opened the 10th inning with the game tied at 5-5, but he was absolutely woeful and couldn't retire a single batter before stepping off the mound. He ended a streak of seven straight scoreless appearances, but he still owns a 2.70 ERA across 10 innings in the current month.

Robles (1-1) blew a save but still earned the win Sunday against Cleveland after giving up a run on a hit and a walk while fanning one across one inning.

Robles pitched the ninth inning and was unable to hold a one-run lead, as he gave up the game-tying run through a sacrifice bunt, but he was still credited with the win after the Twins added three runs in the top of the 10th. Robles owns a 1.74 ERA across 10.1 innings (10 appearances) this month.

Duffey recorded a save Sunday against Cleveland after tossing a scoreless inning, walking one and fanning two.

Duffey pitched the 10th inning and looked in command of the situation -- despite walking Jake Bauers with one out, he still tossed nine of his 15 pitches for strikes en route to picking up his first save of the campaign. He's gone 1-for-2 in save opportunities this season.

Feyereisen earned the save Sunday against the Blue Jays after tossing a scoreless ninth inning, giving up a hit and fanning two.

Feyereisen had gone 0-for-2 in save opportunities this season, though both came when he was still a member of the Brewers. The Rays have a well-earned reputation for getting the most out of previously unheralded pitchers and Feyereisen has responded well since getting traded last week, as he has tossed two scoreless innings with three strikeouts after changing teams.

Fleming (4-3) earned the win Sunday against the Blue Jays after tossing six innings in relief as a tandem with Michael Wacha, giving up four runs on eight hits and a walk while fanning two.

Fleming gave up season-worst figures in runs, hits and home runs allowed, but he still got the win after the Blue Jays' bullpen melted in the ninth. The left-hander will try to leave this outing behind him as soon as possible, though it remains to be seen whether he'll stick in the rotation or if he will continue as a long-relief alternative. He owns an excellent 2.88 ERA this season.

Manaea allowed one run on four hits and two walks while striking out six over five innings against the Angels on Sunday. He did not factor into the decision.

Manaea held the Angels' hitters in check over five innings. The only run scored against him came in the fourth on an RBI groundout by Jared Walsh. It was a much-needed performance for the 29-year-old Manaea after a pair of rough outings in which he was lit up for 10 runs on 20 hits over eight combined innings. He'll take a 4.17 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 54:11 K:BB over 54 innings into his next start.

Iglesias (3-2) pitched a perfect 1.1 innings while striking out two batters as he picked up the win in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Athletics.

Iglesias entered in the eighth with two outs and runners on the corners with the game tied at 5-5 and got Elvis Andrus to pop out to end the inning. The Angels would take the lead in the bottom of the frame and Iglesias would send the Athletics' hitters down 1-2-3 in the ninth while striking out Ramon Laureano and Jed Lowrie to end the game. It was a great bounceback performance after the 31-year-old Iglesias got chased for two home runs in his last appearance Friday. He now owns a 5.19 ERA and 24:3 K:BB over 17.1 innings.
