McHugh (elbow) will make at least two more minor-league rehab appearances, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

McHugh will make a pair of minor-league appearances Friday and Saturday. If he responds well to pitching on back-to-back days, the right-hander could be cleared to return from the injured list shortly thereafter. Once healthy, McHugh will likely resume his role as a multi-inning reliever.

The Astros optioned Perez to Triple-A Round Rock on Wednesday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

The move clears a spot on the active roster for Jose Altuve (hamstring), who was reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Wednesday's series finale in Cincinnati. Over three appearances out of the Houston bullpen this season, Perez has ceded 10 runs on 11 hits and a walk across eight frames.

Norris allowed two runs on four hits with four strikeouts and one walk across six innings during a no-decision against the Pirates on Tuesday.

The left-hander has yielded only two runs in each of his last two outings, but in both cases he settled for a no-decision. Norris has lost his last four decisions, and he hasn't captured a win since May 12. Overall, he is 2-5 with a 4.40 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 58 strikeouts in 73.2 innings this season. Norris is scheduled to pitch next on the road against the Indians on Sunday.

Robles secured the save Tuesday at Toronto with one strikeout while not allowing a baserunner in the ninth inning.

Robles had no issues versus the top of the order Tuesday as he delivered 11 of his 16 pitches for strikes. The 28-year-old hasn't allowed a run in his last eight appearances with a 8:1 K:BB during that stretch, and overall is 11-for-13 in save opportunities.

Chapman struck out the side in order during the ninth inning to record his 19th save in a 6-3 victory against the Rays on Tuesday.

This was a great way to respond after Chapman blew his last save opportunity June 9. Chapman actually hasn't been racking up too many strikeouts lately, but with three Tuesday, he has 39 punchouts in 27.2 frames this season. He is 1-1 with 19 saves in 21 chances.

Yarbrough pitched three innings, giving up no runs on one hit with two strikeouts and no walks during a no-decision against the Yankees on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old entered as planned after Ryne Stanek recorded the first four outs. Yarbrough departed with nobody on base and one out in the fifth, but the Rays' next reliever immediately found trouble and allowed three runs in the frame. Yarbough didn't factor into the decision, but owners have to like his near-perfect three innings after a couple subpar starts during his last three outings. He is 5-3 with a 5.26 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 36 strikeouts across 5.1 innings during 11 appearances, four of which have been starts. Although it's unclear whether he will start again or be deployed as a longer reliever after an opener, Yarbough's next turn in the rotation will be Sunday in Oakland.

Colome completed the ninth inning without allowing a baserunner to record the save Tuesday against the Cubs.

Colome was called upon to uphold a two-run lead, and he did so successfully to record his 15th save of the campaign. Despite lacking the prototypical dominance of a closer -- he has 25 strikeouts across 28.1 innings -- Colome remains perfect in converting save chances for the season. He's also provided exceptional ratios, maintaining a 2.30 ERA and 0.67 WHIP.

Garcia struck out 15 batters with one walk over six shutout innings while giving up just one hit for Double-A Trenton on Tuesday.

It was a ridiculously dominant display from the 20-year-old right-hander, who struck out the first eight batters he faced before ending with 15 punchouts for the game. His first stint in Double-A is off to a great start, as this was already his fourth start with double-digit strikeouts, giving him an 85:27 K:BB in 53.2 innings to go along with a 3.35 ERA and 1.29 WHIP.

Betances (shoulder) is still experiencing symptoms of his "low-grade" lat strain and has yet to resume throwing, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

The news hasn't gotten any better for Betances, who was shut down a week ago after suffering a setback. It remains to be seen as to when he might begin a throwing program.

Shafer was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Shafer has posted a 3.86 ERA over seven innings this season with the Blue Jays, but he's struggled with his command at times (7:8 K:BB). Justin Smoak (quadriceps) was moved to the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move.
