Johnson (elbow) will make his second rehab start Tuesday at Double-A Portland, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

Johnson began his rehab assignment six days earlier with Triple-A Pawtucket, tossing 1.2 innings and giving up two runs on three hits and a walk. He'll likely work no more than three frames Tuesday while preparing to rejoin the Red Sox in a multi-inning relief role once activated from the 10-day injured list.

Giles wasn't available for Monday's 12-2 loss to the Red Sox due to a sore right wrist, Alexis Brudnicki of MLB.com reports.

Giles' wrist was hurting after he took a fall at some point during the Blue Jays' victory over the White Sox on Sunday, when he notched a four-out save. The lopsided nature of the Victoria Day matinee game suggests Giles wouldn't have been used regardless of his health, but his status remains uncertain heading into Tuesday's game. Should a save situation arise, Joe Biagini would likely rank as the top ninth-inning option if Giles requires another day off.

Pressly recorded a strikeout and his 10th hold of the season as part of a perfect eighth inning in Monday's 3-0 win over the White Sox.

Pressly hasn't allowed a run in 40 consecutive appearances and owns a flawless 22:0 K:BB through 21 innings in 2019. While Roberto Osuna will continue to garner the overwhelming share of Houston's save chances, Pressly's unparalleled ratios have made him equally or more valuable in fantasy than many lower-end closers this season.

Chapman allowed one walk while striking out three through a scoreless inning to record his 12th save in a 10-7 win over the Orioles on Monday.

Chapman entered the ninth inning with a three-run lead and generated five swinging strikes as he nailed down his 12th save of the season. Over the last month, he has 10 saves and a 1.54 ERA with a 22:3 K:BB.

Treinen gave up one run on one hit through 1.1 innings to record his eighth save in a 6-4 win over the Athletics.

Treinen entered the game with two outs in the eighth inning and quickly forced a groundout to get out of a jam. The ninth inning was not as easy as he allowed a solo home run to Francisco Lindor before nailing down his eighth save. Treinen has a 2-2 record with a 2.82 ERA through 17 appearances this season.

Gonsalves (elbow) is scheduled to come off the 7-day IL and start Tuesday for Triple-A Rochester.

Gonsalves has been out since the start of the season with a left elbow flexor/pronator strain. Gonsalves showed a potential significant improvement in spring training when he reached 93 mph with his fastball during one outing after averaging just 89.8 mph last season. However, he'll likely need several weeks to get back to full speed.

Garrett was returned to the Rangers on Monday.

The Rule 5 pick will return to Texas after being designated for assignment by the Tigers and passing through waivers untouched. During his time in Detroit, Garrett allowed 14 earned runs in 15.1 innings while walking more batters (13) than he struck out (10). He'll report to Triple-A Nashville.

Betances (shoulder) threw from 100 feet Monday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Betances was able to increase his throwing distance Monday after coming away feeling good from a session Sunday where he was throwing from 90 feet. Per Hoch, the hard-throwing righty still doesn't have a timetable for when he'll be allowed to throw from a mound and work toward a rehab assignment, but said he is still hoping to return to the Yankees' bullpen sometime in June.

Garrett cleared outright waivers Monday, Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Garrett made 13 appearances for the Tigers, allowing 14 earned runs in 15.1 innings while walking more batters (13) than he struck out (10). As a Rule 5 pick, he'll have to be offered back to the Rangers for $50,000 before the Tigers can send him to the minors.

The Mariners acquired Biddle and Arodys Vizcaino (shoulder) from the Braves on Monday in exchange for Anthony Swarzak and cash, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

The Braves recently cast Biddle off their 40-man roster by designating him for assignment, but he'll stick in the big leagues as he moves on to a new organization in Seattle, according to Corey Brock of The Athletic. With 10 walks issued over 11.2 innings this season, Biddle has struggled with his control and may be limited to low-leverage relief duty with Seattle until he proves he can find the strike zone with more consistency.
