Michael Baumann RP | NYM
Orioles' Mike Baumann: Promoted to High-A
Baumann was moved up to High-A Frederick on Saturday, Eduardo A. Encina of the Baltimore Sun reports.
Baumann has made seven starts with Low-A Delmarva this spring, logging a 1.42 ERA and 0.95 WHIP with a 47:13 K:BB across 38 innings. The 2017 third-round selection could make his way up to the Double-A level by the end of the summer if he's able to breeze through High-A competition like he did in the lower tier.

Dylan Covey RP | ATL
White Sox's Dylan Covey: Recalled from Charlotte
Covey was called up from Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday.
Covey has only made one appearance for the White Sox this season -- a spot start in late April -- but he's impressed at the Triple-A level, posting a 2.33 ERA and 1.23 WHIP over 38.2 innings in Charlotte's rotation. He is tentatively in line to start Wednesday's game against Baltimore, but it's likely that he will be available out of the bullpen immediately should manager Rick Renteria need him.

Danny Coulombe RP | BOS
Athletics' Daniel Coulombe: Grabs first win Friday
Coulombe (1-1) fired a scoreless 1.1 innings in a win over the Blue Jays on Friday, allowing a walk and recording three strikeouts.
The Athletics were forced to put together a patchwork relief effort for the second consecutive night, as starter Brett Anderson exited the game early with a shoulder injury. Coulombe was the next man up after Josh Lucas racked up seven strikeouts over 3.2 innings, and the veteran lefty kept the bats missing during his time on the mound as well. The 28-year-old now has back-to-back three-strikeout outings, and he owns an impressive 12:2 K:BB across 6.1 innings over seven May appearances.

Buck Farmer RP | CIN
Tigers' Buck Farmer: Takes loss Friday
Farmer (0-2) took the loss Friday against the Mariners, walking two batters who would come around to score after Farmer was pulled.
Farmer relieved Detroit starter Michael Fulmer with one out in the seventh inning and a runner on first with the Tigers up 4-2. Farmer walked Mike Zunino and Guillermo Heredia on five pitches each to load the bases before getting the hook. Each baserunner scored as the Mariners rallied for five runs in the inning. Farmer now has a 4.35 ERA and 1.65 WHIP after the tough outing.

Carson Fulmer RP | PIT
White Sox's Carson Fulmer: Needs mechanical tweak
Fulmer, who was demoted to Triple-A Charlotte following Friday's game, will work on a mechanical issue, Tom Musick of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Fulmer has been kicking side to side in his delivery instead of straight up and down. "We're trying to clean that up so it's a more direct line," manager Rick Renteria said. "Those are things that he's been trying to work on. That, and with the weight of trying to help win a major-league ballgame on a daily basis, you compound it. Now, instead of bogging him down, we're going to try to alleviate a little bit of that stress." Fulmer will join Charlotte's starting rotation, and the White Sox do not plan to move him to the bullpen.

Ariel Jurado RP | TEX
Rangers' Ariel Jurado: Will start Saturday
Jurado will be called up from Double-A Frisco to start Saturday against the White Sox, Jeff Arnold of MLB.com reports.
With Cole Hamels (neck) unavailable to make a start during this turn of the rotation, the Rangers are reaching down to Double-A for Jurado, who will be making his MLB debut Saturday. The 21-year-old right-hander is 1-1 with a 2.57 ERA over seven starts for the RoughRiders.

Carson Fulmer RP | PIT
White Sox's Carson Fulmer: Optioned to Triple-A
Fulmer was sent down to Triple-A Charlotte following Friday's game.
Fulmer had another abysmal outing during Friday's start against Texas, allowing eight earned runs off three hits, five walks and two hit batsmen while striking out two across two innings. That marked the third straight start where Fulmer allowed five or more runs and couldn't get past the fourth inning, so manager Rick Renteria decided to take the right-hander out of the rotation for the time being. He will continue to start in Charlotte as he works through his problems.
-
Chris Martin RP | TEX
Rangers' Chris Martin: Rejoins Rangers
Martin (forearm) was with the Rangers on Friday and could be activated for Saturday's game against the White Sox, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Martin had a pair of scoreless outings while out on a rehabilitation assignment at Double-A Frisco. Aside from the game in which he sustained his injury -- four runs, four hits, two-thirds of an inning -- Martin had been a reliable arm out of the bullpen prior to his injury.

Chris Devenski RP | NYM
Astros' Chris Devenski: Another scoreless outing
Devenski pitched a scoreless eighth inning, working around two hits and a walk, to earn his eighth hold in Friday's 4-1 win over Cleveland.
Devenski quickly dispatched the first two batters faced, but then the inning got tense. He loaded the bases before getting Yonder Alonso to pop out to short. The right-hander has prevented runs in 15 of his last 16 outings.

Jesse Chavez RP | ATL
Rangers' Jesse Chavez: Gets win in scoreless relief
Chavez (2-0) tossed 2.2 scoreless innings in relief Friday to earn a win over the White Sox. He gave up three hits while striking out one and walking none.
Chavez, who entered in the fourth inning to relieve a struggling Matt Moore, proceeded to shut down the White Sox on 43 pitches (26 strikes) in the multi-inning performance. Chavez has now had back-to-back outings where he's thrown multiple scoreless innings. On April 23, the right-hander's ERA was 6.28, and in eight appearances since then he's brought it down to 4.33. Chavez's ability to go multiple innings makes him a decent candidate to pick up occasional decisions.
