Stephen Gonsalves RP | LAD
Twins' Stephen Gonsalves: Gets win in first Double-A start
Gonsalves threw 5.1 scoreless innings with three strikeouts and three walks to earn a win in his first start Saturday for Double-A Chattanooga.
It was a surprise that Gonsalves began the season at Double-A after dominating the level last year, so he may move up to Triple-A quickly. He is on the 40-man roster and turns 24 in July, so it would not be surprising if he made his big-league debut at some point this season.

Ryan Yarbrough RP | NYY
Rays' Ryan Yarbrough: Solid in long-relief duty
Yarbrough allowed an earned run on two hits and three walks over four innings in an 8-7 loss to the Red Sox on Sunday. He struck out three.
Yarbrough was the second man up in another bullpen day for the Rays, firing a robust 73 pitches during his time on the mound. The rookie has given a solid accounting of himself over his first three outings, a sample that now includes a pair of four-inning appearances during which he's allowed two earned runs while compiling six strikeouts. Yarbrough's versatility appears likely to afford him a solid workload over the course of the season.

Kendall Graveman RP | ARI
Athletics' Kendall Graveman: Lasts just 3.1 frames against Halos
Graveman (0-2) allowed five runs on five hits and four walks through just 3.1 innings during Sunday's loss to the Angels. He struck out three batters.
The 27-year-old righty now owns a crippling 9.45 ERA and 1.88 WHIP through three starts. It's been a disastrous start to the season for Graveman, and considering his career 4.50 FIP, he's unlikely to show significant improvement moving forward. In mixed settings, Graveman is probably best faded outside of the most favorable matchups, and his upcoming road start against the Mariners will be a telling test for current and prospective owners.

Drew Pomeranz RP | CHC
Red Sox's Drew Pomeranz: Unphased by command issues Sunday
Pomeranz (forearm) allowed two runs on two hits and six walks while striking out one over 4.1 innings of a rehabilitation start at Triple-A Pawtucket, Nick Friar of the New Bedford Standard Times reports. He also had one wild pitch, gave up a home run and threw just 47 strikes out of 85 pitches.
Pomeranz missed location on all of his pitches while his fastball sat between 85-87 mph -- he's typically low-90s. Despite the poor results, Pomeranz was not overly concerned. "I was going out there working on stuff; generally I don't go into big-league games working on things," the left-hander said. "But today I (was) trying to get ready for the big leagues." With the Red Sox having announced both Hector Velazquez and Brian Johnson are headed to the bullpen, the plan is to have Pomeranz rejoin the Red Sox rotation this week, probably Saturday against the Orioles.

Reynaldo Lopez RP | ATL
White Sox's Reynaldo Lopez: Impresses again in loss to Tigers
Lopez (0-1) shut out Detroit over seven innings on Sunday, allowing just two hits, striking out five and walking five while taking a hard-luck loss to the Tigers 1-0.
The 24-year-old impressed for a second straight outing and was unlucky to be dealt the defeat in a great pitching duel with Mike Fiers. Lopez now has a 0.69 ERA and, despite the five walks, a sparkling 0.85 WHIP through his first 13 innings of the season. It's still too early to anoint him as a go-to fantasy option, but if he keeps pitching like this, he could become one sooner rather than later, and he can probably still be found on a majority of waiver wires.

Craig Kimbrel RP | KC
Red Sox's Craig Kimbrel: Picks up third save Sunday
Kimbrel earned his third save of the season, as he threw a perfect inning in Sunday's 8-7 victory over the Rays.
Kimbrel has been his usual dominant self so far this season. Over five games (five innings) the righty has yet to allow a run and has given up just two hits. Although he didn't strike out any batters Sunday, Kimbrel is proving to be one of the game's elite closers.

Alex Colome RP | CHW
Rays' Alex Colome: Blows second save Sunday
Colome (0-1) blew a save opportunity against the Red Sox on Sunday, as he allowed two runs on three hits in the eighth inning.
Colome has now blown two of his three save opportunities this season and has given up four runs over just 2.1 innings. In addition to failing to close Sunday's game, Colome was handed the loss, as the Rays blew a 7-2 lead in the eighth inning. Despite his recent struggles, the team has yet to hint Colome will lose any save chances.
-
Andrew Kittredge RP | BAL
Rays' Andrew Kittredge: Allows one run Sunday
Kittredge (0-2) logged one strikeout and allowed one run on two hits over two innings Sunday against the Red Sox.
Although Kittredge started the game, the Rays planned on having Sunday be a bullpen day, as they've opted to use a four-man rotation this season. Kittredge has now appeared in three games (7.2 innings) and allowed four runs (three earned), giving him a 3.52 ERA.

Ken Giles RP | ATL
Astros' Ken Giles: Unavailable Sunday
Giles was not available to pitch Sunday against the Padres, Hunter Atkins of the Houston Chronicle reports. Brad Peacock filled in as the closer in Sunday's 4-1 win.
Giles had pitched two straight days and was not available for what was Houston's first save opportunity of the season. He's made four appearances thus far, giving up six hits and two runs over 3.2 innings.

Ryan Weber RP | NYY
Rays' Ryan Weber: Called up to big leagues
Weber was chosen to join Tampa Bay's major-league roster Sunday.
The Rays made this move after Brad Miller (groin) was put on the 10-day disabled list. Weber started the season at Triple-A Durham and will likely contribute out of the bullpen. He owns a 5.00 ERA across 68.1 innings at the big-league level.
