Cody Sedlock RP | BAL
Orioles' Cody Sedlock: Assigned to High-A Frederick
Sedlock will begin the season at High-A Frederick, Steve Melewski of MASN Sports reports.
Sedlock pitched just one inning for the Orioles this spring, and it was one to forget. He allowed four runs off five his, two of which were home runs. The club is being patient with Sedlock's development, so the prospect's rough spring outing isn't worth getting hung up on moving into the 2017 season.

Garrett Cleavinger RP | TB
Orioles' Garrett Cleavinger: To open year at Double-A Bowie
Cleavinger will begin the 2017 season at Double-A Bowie, Steve Melewski of MASN Sports reports.
This will mark Cleavinger's first ever experience at the Double-A level. Between Low-A Delmarva and High-A Frederick in 2016, Cleavinger combined for a 3.07 ERA and 1.23 WHIP over 37 games.

Bo Schultz RP | PIT
Blue Jays' Bo Schultz: Hits 10-day DL
Schultz (elbow) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Sunday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports.
Schultz has already been ruled out for the season and will require a 12- to 18-month recovery timetable after undergoing Tommy John surgery a few days ago, so it's likely he'll eventually be moved to the 60-day DL when the Blue Jays are in need of more roster flexibility.
-
Brad Boxberger RP | CHC
Rays' Brad Boxberger: Listed on 10-day DL
Boxberger (back) is listed on the Rays' 10-day disabled list.
Boxberger is still trying to get over a strained lat muscle and was unable to get on the mound during Grapefruit League play, so the Rays will stash him on the DL until he's deemed ready to go. Once healthy, Boxberger could settle in as the top setup man to closer Alex Colome, but in the meantime, look for Xavier Cedeno, Erasmo Ramirez and Danny Farquhar to help provide a bridge to the ninth inning.
-
Dominic Leone RP | CHW
Blue Jays' Dominic Leone: Returns to majors
Leone was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports.
Leone was optioned to minor-league camp Wednesday but will return to the big-league club after closer Roberto Osuna landed on the 10-day disabled list. He'll likely serve in low-leverage situations during his stint in the majors.
-
Austin Adams RP | WAS
Angels' Austin Adams: Doesn't make Opening Day roster
Adams didn't make the Opening Day roster and was designated for assignment Saturday.
Adams' poor 2016 showing carried over to spring training as he allowed eight runs over 11 innings (11 games). Although the possibility exists that he could make his way back up to the majors during the upcoming season, he'll likely serve as organizational depth.
-
Kirby Yates RP | PIT
Angels' Kirby Yates: Doesn't make Opening Day roster
Yates didn't make the Opening Day roster and will be designated for assignment, Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reports.
The spring season wasn't kind to Yates, who allowed 12 runs over 12 innings on 15 hits, three of which were home runs. Yates entered camp with a career ERA and WHIP of 5.25 and 1.41, respectively, and doesn't carry much fantasy value apart from a K-rate of 26.2 percent.
-
Carson Smith RP | BOS
Red Sox's Carson Smith: Moved to disabled list
Smith (elbow) was put on the 10-day DL on Saturday, Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe reports.
As expected, Smith won't be active for Opening Day, although he's on the right track as he's going to throw a bullpen session sometime next week. Boston's tentative plan is to have Smith back in the bullpen around June, but a more specific estimate should be clear once his level of throwing picks up.
-
Daniel Mengden RP | KC
Athletics' Daniel Mengden: Lands on DL
Mengden (foot) was officially placed on the 10-day disabled list Saturday.
This is simply procedural, as Mengden was already planning on opening the season in extended spring training recovering from foot surgery. He's expected to stick around extended spring training for two-to-four weeks while he continues to rehab his foot.
-
Jose Leclerc RP | SD
Rangers' Jose Leclerc: Makes 25-man roster
Leclerc is on the Rangers' Opening Day roster, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Leclerc could be a solid source of strikeouts, as he's coming off a season in which he posted a 28.4 percent K-rate at Triple-A Round Rock, but prospective owners will want to be wary of his poor control. This spring he's walked six batters over 11.1 innings, and he has posted a walk rate over 10 percent in three consecutive seasons.
