Cano (2-2) allowed two runs on two hits in one-third of an inning to take the loss Saturday versus the Mariners.

Cano allowed the first two batters to reach base in the eighth inning, giving up one run in the process. Cionel Perez also allowed an inherited runner to score, and the Orioles couldn't overcome the deficit. This is the first time Cano has given up multiple earned runs in an appearance all season, and just the second time he's given up more than one run of any kind. He's now at a 2.95 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 18:9 K:BB while adding two saves and 10 holds over 21.1 innings. The late-inning mix in Baltimore remains in flux, and Cano isn't doing himself any favors with three runs allowed over his last 1.1 innings across three appearances.

Urena allowed a run on four hits and a walk while striking out three over six innings in a no-decision versus the Angels on Saturday.

Urena has allowed five runs (four earned) over 17.2 innings across his three starts, though he has just one win to show for it in that span. The lone run on his ledger Saturday came from a Taylor Ward solo home run. Urena now has a 3.29 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 24:13 K:BB over 38.1 innings across 13 appearances (three starts) this season. Dane Dunning (shoulder) and Nathan Eovaldi (groin) both resumed mound work this week as part of their injury rehab, so Urena seems likely to get another start, which is projected to be a tough road outing in Philadelphia.

Zerpa extended his scoreless streak to 7.2 innings with a perfect inning in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Athletics.

Zerpa's scoreless streak spans nine appearances, and he's earned five holds while adding an 8:0 K:BB in that span. The southpaw came up through the minors as a starter, but he's found some success in the Royals' bullpen this year. He's up to seven holds through 20 appearances while pitching to a 1.47 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 20:3 K:BB over 18.1 innings this season. Zerpa has yet to get a look for saves, but he's been one of the Royals' most effective relievers over the first quarter-plus of the campaign.

McArthur allowed two hits and struck out two without walking a batter in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Athletics.

McArthur allowed back-to-back singles to begin the ninth inning, but he retired the next three batters to secure his 11th save of the year. He's allowed multiple baserunners in four of his last six outings, but he's converted his last four save chances. McArthur is at a 4.35 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 23:3 K:BB through 20.2 innings this season.

Munoz allowed a run but hung on to notch his eighth save of the season in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Orioles.

Gunnar Henderson made things interesting with a two-out, solo home run, but Munoz quickly bounced back and sat down Adley Rutschman swinging to end it. Henderson's long ball represents the only run Munoz has allowed over his last 10 appearances, and he boasts a 15:1 K:BB over 12 innings during that span.

Cleavinger struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Saturday to record his third save of the season in a 5-4 win over the Blue Jays.

Pete Fairbanks had pitched three of the prior four days and Jason Adam worked the eighth inning Saturday to collect his 10th hold, so closing duties fell to Cleavinger. The southpaw didn't disappoint, firing 11 of 14 pitches for strikes as he dispatched Toronto's 8-9-1 hitters. Cleavinger is the top lefty in the Tampa Bay bullpen, which will likely lead to other save chances as matchups dictate, but Fairbanks remains the primary high-leverage option for manager Kevin Cash. Through 18.2 innings this season, Cleavinger sports a 1.45 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 29:12 K:BB.

Keller (0-2) took the loss Saturday as the White Sox were downed 6-1 by the Yankees, coughing up six runs (five earned) on seven hits -- including four home runs -- and a walk over four-plus innings. He struck out four.

The right-hander served up a pair of homers to Juan Soto in the first and fifth innings, with Jose Trevino and Giancarlo Stanton taking Keller deep in between. Troubles keeping the ball in the park are nothing new for Keller, as he got tagged for 35 home runs over 273.1 innings in 2021-22 while with the Royals. Keller's spot in the White Sox's rotation is by no means secure, but if he takes another turn at home next week against the Orioles, he'll carry a 4.86 ERA and 1.38 WHIP to the mound.

Adcock was designated for assignment by the Tigers on Saturday.

Adcock will now be placed on waivers, and if he goes unclaimed, he'll likely remain with Triple-A Toledo. The team claimed Easton Lucas from the Athletics on Saturday and Adcock was the odd man out on the 40-man roster.

Lucas was claimed off waivers by the Tigers and optioned to Triple-A Toledo on Saturday.

Lucas was designated for assignment by the Athletics on Thursday and will now join the Tigers organization. The left-hander appeared in three contests with Oakland, surrendering six runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out six batters over 3.2 innings. He'll look to impress with Toledo and earn a shot with Detroit's major-league roster down the road.

The Rays transferred Waguespack (shoulder) to the 60-day injured list Saturday.

Waguespack will give up his spot on the 40-man roster in order to make room for recent acquisition Richard Lovelady. Waguespack landed on the injured list May 6 due to right shoulder inflammation, and he will now be ineligible to return until July 5.
