The Tigers re-signed Vanasco to a minor-league contract Tuesday.

Vanasco was non-tendered by Detroit last week but returns to the organization on a minor-league pact. The right-hander spent most of the 2024 season at the Triple-A level, collecting a 2.45 ERA and 48:30 K:BB over 40.1 innings of work.

The Mariners are optimistic that Brash (elbow) can make his 2025 debut by the end of April, Adam Jude of the Seattle Times reports.

Brash had an internal brace procedure on his right elbow in early May, so a return in April would be aggressive. However, he's been working out at the team's spring training complex in Arizona and is considered ahead of schedule in his recovery. Brash was dynamite out of Seattle's bullpen in 2023, posting a 3.06 ERA and 107:29 K:BB across 70.2 innings. Once healthy, he will serve in a leverage relief role for the Mariners.

The Mariners signed Marte (shoulder) to a minor-league contract Saturday that includes an invitation to spring training, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports.

Marte spent the last two seasons with the Phillies' organization, and in 2024 he posted a 6.92 ERA and 1.88 WHIP over 26 innings in the majors. Marte was shut down from throwing in mid-September due to a right shoulder injury, but he should be fully healthy for spring training and will look to earn a spot in the Mariners' bullpen for the 2025 season.

Campbell agreed to a minor-league deal with the Red Sox on Friday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Campbell was non-tendered by the Red Sox on Friday, but just hours later this new deal was announced. He's likely to begin the season working in relief with Triple-A Worcester.

Boston non-tendered Mata on Friday after designating him for assignment Tuesday, but the 25-year-old right-hander will stick around with the Red Sox organization. He'll continue to work through his rehab program for right shoulder and elbow soreness, and if he's healthy, he'll have a chance to earn a spot on the Red Sox's major-league roster in spring training.

Sborz (shoulder) signed a one-year contract with the Rangers on Friday to avoid arbitration.

Sborz appeared in just 17 major-league games in 2024, as he spent four separate stints on the Rangers' injured list due to a right shoulder injury. He managed to post a 3.86 ERA and 1.22 WHIP across 16.1 innings, and Sborz could be an effective option out of the Rangers' bullpen in 2025. However, he is set to miss the first few months of the campaign after undergoing shoulder surgery in mid-November, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Poche was non-tendered by the Rays on Friday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Poche has been a key high-leverage reliever for the Rays the last several seasons, picking up a combined 65 holds since 2022. He's also posted a WHIP no worse than 1.16 in that span, meaning he should be in relatively high demand on the open market.

Swanson agreed to a one-year, $3 million contract with the Blue Jays on Friday to avoid arbitration, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Swanson will stick around in Toronto for a third straight season after being acquired from the Mariners in November of 2022. Swanson spent most of the 2024 regular season in the majors, and across 45 outings with the Blue Jays, he posted a 5.03 ERA and 1.27 WHIP over 39.1 innings. The 31-year-old will provide right-handed relief out of Toronto's bullpen for the 2025 campaign.

Topa agreed to a one-year deal with the Twins on Friday to avoid arbitration.

Topa started the 2024 regular season on the Twins' 15-day injured list due to left patellar tendinitis, and he was transferred to the 60-day IL in late May after an MRI revealed a small tear in his left patellar tendon. Topa managed to return from the injured list Sept. 25, and across three outings he threw 2.1 scoreless innings while striking out two batters and allowing one hit. The 33-year-old right-hander should be good to go for spring training.

Hentges (shoulder) agreed to a one-year, $1.337 million contract with the Guardians on Friday to avoid arbitration, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

Hentges is set to miss the entire 2025 campaign after undergoing surgery on his left shoulder in September. His new contract will ensure he remains with the Guardians organization for the duration of his rehab process, and the 28-year-old will look to return for the start of 2026.
