Brad Boxberger RP | CHC
Cubs' Brad Boxberger: Transferred to 60-day IL
Boxberger (forearm) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Tuesday, Sahadev Sharma of The Athletic reports.
The move clears a spot on the 40-man roster. It doesn't change Boxberger's timetable, as he'll be eligible to return at the start of the second half. Whether he is activated at that time isn't clear.

Denyi Reyes RP | NYM
Mets' Denyi Reyes: Designated for assignment
Reyes was designated for assignment by the Mets on Tuesday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
DJ Stewart has been selected from Triple-A Syracuse in a corresponding roster move. Reyes, 26, allowed five earned runs over 7.1 innings (six appearances) earlier this season with New York and has also struggled to a 6.97 ERA in 41.1 frames at Triple-A.

George Soriano RP | STL
Marlins' George Soriano: Recalled from Triple-A
Soriano was recalled from Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Soriano will replace Andrew Nardi (triceps) in the Marlins' bullpen ahead of Tuesday's game against the Cardinals. Soriano, 24, has registered a 1.98 ERA and 9:5 K:BB in 13.2 major-league innings this year.

Andrew Nardi RP | MIA
Marlins' Andrew Nardi: Placed on 15-day IL
Nardi was placed on the 15-day injured list Tuesday with left triceps inflammation, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
This is a fairly significant blow to the Marlins, as Nardi has been a workhorse in the bullpen this year while delivering a sharp 3.19 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 48:11 K:BB in 41 appearances covering 36.2 innings. The 24-year-old southpaw will be sidelined through at least July 19.

Keaton Winn SP | SF
Giants' Keaton Winn: Draws another start
Winn is scheduled to start Tuesday's game versus the Mariners at Oracle Park.
Winn will be making his second turn through the Giants rotation after impressing in his first MLB start last Thursday in Toronto. While facing off against a formidable offense on the road, Winn struck out three and allowed two earned runs and six baserunners over six innings in a losing effort. The right-hander draws a more favorable matchup this time around and could make sense as a streaming option while facing a Mariners offense that has struck out at a 26.1 percent clip -- the third-highest rate in the majors -- since June 1.

Huascar Brazoban RP | NYM
Marlins' Huascar Brazoban: Picks up third win
Brazoban (3-1) recorded the win over the Cardinals on Monday, giving up a hit and a walk without being charged with a run in an inning of relief. He struck out two.
After Andrew Nardi walked the leadoff hitter in the top of the seventh inning, Brazoban came out of the bullpen and allowed the inherited runner to score to give St. Louis a 4-2 lead. However, Miami rallied with three runs in the bottom of the frame. Since rejoining the Marlins' bullpen in mid-June, the right-hander hasn't allowed an earned run in nine innings, posting a 0.78 WHIP and 8:2 K:BB over that stretch with a remarkable three wins and a hold in seven appearances.

Nick Anderson RP | ATH
Braves' Nick Anderson: Collects 14th hold
Anderson retired the only batter he faced to record his 14th hold of the season in Monday's win over the Guardians.
After A.J. Minter bailed out Bryce Elder in the seventh inning, Anderson returned the favor for Minter in the eighth, getting Myles Straw to ground out to Matt Olson with runners on first and second and two outs. Anderson is tied for 10th in the majors in holds, and he sits just two shy of the career-high 16 he notched between the Marlins and Rays in 2019.

Jordan Weems RP | LAD
Nationals' Jordan Weems: Dominant relief outing
Weems struck out four batters in 1.1 scoreless innings during Monday's loss to the Reds.
Entering the game in the seventh inning with the Nationals down 3-2, Weems did hit TJ Friedl with a pitch but was otherwise perfect as he generated seven swinging strikes on only 29 pitches. The 30-year-old right-hander has emerged as a potential high-leverage weapon, posting a 0.73 ERA, 0.49 WHIP and 15:4 K:BB over his last 12.1 innings, and Weems could find himself in the closing mix for the Nationals in the second half if the team ships out arbitration-eligible relievers like Kyle Finnegan and Hunter Harvey.

Raisel Iglesias RP | ATL
Braves' Raisel Iglesias: Files 15th save
Iglesias earned a save against the Guardians on Monday, striking out one batter in a perfect inning.
Iglesias made short work of Cleveland in the ninth frame to protect a two-run lead, retiring the side in order on 11 pitches. It was the fourth straight scoreless appearance for the veteran closer following a stretch during which he allowed seven runs across six frames. Despite that uncharacteristic hiccup, Iglesias has remained the locked-in closer for one of baseball's top teams. He's struck out at least one batter without issuing a walk in 13 straight appearances, posting an impressive 21:0 K:BB over 13 frames during that span.
