John Curtiss RP | ARI
Mets' John Curtiss: Optioned to Triple-A
Curtiss was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse after Sunday's 8-7 loss to the Cardinals.
Curtiss will head back to Syracuse after being called up June 10, appearing in two games, allowing one run on three hits and a walk while striking out four batters over 4.2 innings during his latest stint with New York. The 31-year-old has now produced a 4.08 ERA and 1.13 WHIP with 11 punchouts over 17.2 frames in 13 appearances with the Mets in 2023. Replacing Curtiss on the active roster is Grant Hartwig, a right-handed reliever who had his contract selected from Triple-A on Monday.

Packy Naughton RP | STL
Cardinals' Packy Naughton: Slated for surgery
Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol confirmed Monday that Naughton (forearm) will undergo surgery June 26, Lynn Worthy of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Marmol didn't specify whether Naughton would require Tommy John surgery or another kind of arm procedure, but the southpaw looks set to miss extended time in any case. Naughton has been on the shelf since April 8 with a strained left forearm and experienced a setback just three pitches into his first rehab appearance at Triple-A Memphis earlier this month.

Stephen Ridings RP | NYM
Mets' Stephen Ridings: Remains on IL
Ridings (lat) remains on the Mets' 60-day injured list and moved his rehab assignment from Single-A St. Lucie to Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday.
Anthony DiComo of MLB.com previously reported Thursday that Ridings was reinstated from the IL and optioned to Syracuse, but he'll instead remain off the Mets' 40-man roster for the time being while he continues his rehab program. The 27-year-old, who is working his way back from a lat strain, made three rehab appearances for St. Lucie before striking out the side in his lone inning of relief work Sunday in his Syracuse debut.

Alex Young RP | CIN
Reds' Alex Young: Earns first save of season
Young picked up the save in Sunday's 9-7 victory over the Astros, allowing one unearned run on one hit over one inning. He struck out one and didn't record a walk.
Young got the call in the bottom of the 10th after the Reds struck for three runs in the top half of the inning. It was a surprising decision, given Young hasn't been a late-inning option this season, but the top guys in the Reds' bullpen were presumably unavailable after pitching numerous times during Cincinnati's recent win streak. Overall, Young has been solid, posting a 2.83 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 31:9 K:BB across 30 appearances (28.2 innings), but fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to get regular save chances moving forward.

Angel Felipe RP | LAA
Padres' Angel Felipe: Moves off 40-man roster
The Padres designated Felipe for assignment Sunday.
After joining the Padres in January 2022 as a minor-league free agent, Felipe earned a spot on the 40-man roster heading into the 2023 campaign after he turned in a 3.63 ERA while striking out 84 batters and recording 14 saves across 62 innings between Triple-A El Paso and Double-A San Antonio. The 25-year-old right-hander has taken a major step back in 2023, however, as he pitched to a 6.20 ERA, 1.82 WHIP and 39:18 K:BB in 24.2 innings with El Paso before the Padres dropped him from the 40-man roster. He'll now be exposed to waivers, but if he goes unclaimed, Felipe will remain in the organization and continue to work out of the El Paso bullpen.

Devin Williams RP | NYM
Brewers' Devin Williams: Secures 12th save
Williams picked up the save in Sunday's 5-2 victory over the Pirates, striking out two over a perfect inning.
Williams locked down back-to-back save chances versus Pittsburgh after blowing his first save of the season last week versus Minnesota. Overall, the right-hander boasts a 1.90 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 34:13 K:BB across 24 appearances (23.2 innings) and is 12-for-13 in save opportunities. Williams' career-high mark for saves is 15, which he set last year when he took over as the Brewers' full-time closer after the surprising trade of Josh Hader at the deadline. Williams remains an elite option, but he hasn't gotten enough opportunities this year to contend for the MLB lead in saves.

Steven Okert RP | HOU
Marlins' Steven Okert: Collects seventh hold
Okert gave up a hit in a scoreless seventh inning to record his seventh hold of the season in Sunday's win over the Nationals.
The veteran lefty continues to be stingy. Okert has been scored upon only three times in 22 appearances since the beginning of May, posting a 0.90 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 28:5 K:BB through 20 innings over that stretch. His outstanding numbers have earned him a more prominent role in the Miami bullpen, and over his last nine games he's picked up two wins and four holds. While he's no threat to A.J. Puk's closing job, Okert has emerged as a reliable setup arm alongside Dylan Floro and Tanner Scott.

Drey Jameson RP | ARI
Diamondbacks' Drey Jameson: Logs scoreless relief outing
Jameson struck out one over two scoreless and hitless relief innings in Sunday's 12-3 loss to Cleveland.
Jameson gave the Diamondbacks length after starter Zach Davies was removed during the fourth inning. It was the second consecutive appearance in which Jameson threw multiple innings following a short outing from a starter -- he cleaned up for Ryne Nelson on Thursday. Jameson has been used as a long reliever since being called up May 27 but has made spot starts for Arizona and five starts while at Triple-A Reno prior to his current stint with the D-backs. While Arizona appears to be cruising atop the NL West, the back end of the rotation is shaky. Outside of Zac Gallen and Merrill Kelly, the team's starters have a 6.18 ERA over 43 starts. If manager Torey Lovullo is contemplating change, Jameson is already in house. The right-hander has a 3.45 ERA over 15.2 innings (six relief outings) since returning to MLB.

Drew VerHagen RP | STL
Cardinals' Drew VerHagen: Collects fourth win
VerHagen (4-0) pitched 1.2 perfect innings and struck out one to earn the win Sunday over the Mets.
VerHagen did his part to keep the game tied until the Cardinals took the lead in the ninth inning. The right-hander has had mixed results in June with three runs allowed over 6.2 innings while posting a 5:1 K:BB. He continues to serve as a multi-inning option, though he's also managed seven holds this season and could see more late-inning work while Ryan Helsley (forearm) is out. VerHagen has a 4.32 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 34:13 K:BB over 33.1 innings this season.

Camilo Doval RP | NYY
Giants' Camilo Doval: Earns 19th save
Doval recorded two outs to notch a save against the Dodgers on Sunday. He struck out one while not allowing a hit or walk.
Scott Alexander (hamstring) loaded the bases before Doval came in and escaped the threat. Doval converted 15 straight save chances before blowing an opportunity Friday. With Sunday's performance, he lowered his ERA to 1.99 with a strong 45:14 K:BB and 19 saves through 31.2 innings.
