Ramirez was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis by the Pirates on Sunday, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

Ramirez is taking the place of Rob Zastryzny after Zastryzny was placed on the injured list with elbow discomfort before Sunday's game against the Cardinals. In 71 career games, the right-hander has forged a 3.89 ERA and a 1.30 WHIP over 85.2 innings of work.

Ortiz was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley by the Phillies on Sunday.

Ortiz will take the place of McKinley Moore in the bullpen with Moore being optioned to Lehigh Valley after Saturday's loss to the Reds. The right-handed Ortiz will provide a multi-inning option for the Philadelphia relief corps while he's on the roster.

McGough (0-2) allowed two runs on three hits over a third of an inning, picking up the loss to Miami on Saturday.

McGough came out of an impressive spring training as a late-inning relief option, but the right-hander's uneven regular-season performance may take him out of consideration for save chances. His appearance in the seventh inning Saturday after the Diamondbacks had taken the lead ended up being his second blown save in three opportunities. McGough's allowed five runs on six hits, including three home runs, and three walks over 4.2 innings.

Jameson may make multiple starts as a fill-in for Zach Davies, whose oblique strain is expected to take "several weeks" to heal, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Arizona manager Torey Lovullo described Davies' injury as "more than a (Grade) 1," with a Grade 1 strain being the least severe. Jameson excelled in his first start as a replacement for Davies, shutting down the Brewers over four scoreless innings last Wednesday. His next expected start is Tuesday in St. Louis. Jameson pitched as a starter in spring training -- he eventually lost out on the No. 5 job to Ryne Nelson -- and should be able to build up higher pitch counts and get deeper into games.

Mantiply (shoulder) allowed two hits and struck out two over two scoreless innings to earn the win for Double-A Amarillo on Saturday.

Mantiply made his second rehab appearance for Amarillo and has been credited with a win in each. He's struck out three over three scoreless frames. The left-hander's rehab stint is expected to be a short one, and he could join his MLB mates for a three-game set in St. Louis beginning Monday.

Scott picked up the save Saturday against the Diamondbacks. He struck out one batter over a perfect inning.

Scott looks to be sharing closer duties with Dylan Floro and A.J. Puk, who typically pitch after him. Both Floro and Puk pitched Friday, which is why manager Skip Schumaker gave Scott the nod. The southpaw has now registered five straight scoreless appearances and currently sports a stingy 1.06 WHIP.

Strahm (1-1) took the loss Saturday, allowing three runs on two hits and three walks over 2.2 innings against the Reds. He struck out six.

Phillies manager Rob Thomson said that Strahm cut his thumb on his third warmup pitch going into the third inning, which is why he pulled him after just 67 pitches. This was the southpaw's first mediocre outing of the season, as he had not allowed a run in his previous four appearances (10 total innings pitched). However, Thomson didn't sound overly concerned, saying "I didn't want to take a chance" postgame, per the Associated Press. Expect Strahm to be back on the mound within the next few days.

Fulmer (0-1) took the loss and blew the save against the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing two runs on three hits while striking out one batter over two-thirds of an inning.

The Cubs carried a tenuous 1-0 lead into the bottom of the ninth inning and turned to Fulmer to close things out. The right-hander couldn't get the job done, surrendering a two-out, two-run walkoff single to David Peralta after allowing a pair of one-out hits. Fulmer converted his first save chance of the season against Texas on April 7, but he's since blown his next two opportunities and has allowed three earned runs across 2.2 frames over his past three outings.

Helsley allowed an inherited runner to score and surrendered two hits and a walk while striking out two over 1.1 innings Saturday versus the Pirates. He was charged with a blown save.

Helsley entered with one on and two outs in the eighth inning and gave up a game-tying RBI double to Rodolfo Castro. Through six appearances, Helsley is 3-for-5 in save chances with an 0-1 record and a 10:3 K:BB. It appears he's had some bad luck this season with a 1.57 WHIP across seven innings, but until some of the hits he's allowing turn into outs, he could be in danger of losing some save chances to Giovanny Gallegos.

Hicks (0-1) allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits and struck out one in one-third of an inning, taking the loss Saturday versus the Pirates.

Hicks has often put himself behind the eight-ball in his appearances this season, as he's had trouble retiring the first batter he faces. That was the case Saturday, as Andrew McCutchen took him deep for a two-run home run to begin the 10th inning. Hicks has an awful 12.71 ERA, 3.35 WHIP and 6:8 K:BB aver 5.2 innings. His velocity is as strong as ever, but he hasn't found any way to harness it with control, so Hicks remains an unappealing fantasy option.
