Peters (back) will throw live batting practice in Tampa sometime this weekend, Chris Halicke of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

Peters landed on the 15-day IL due to a back muscle spasm in early June, and he won't return to action when first eligible. However, he'll take a significant step in his recovery process by facing live hitters over the weekend and could return to game action sometime next week if he feels good following his live BP.

Diaz (biceps) played catch Wednesday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Diaz was placed on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to right biceps tendinitis, but it's encouraging to see him throwing off flat ground several days after the transaction. Although biceps tendinitis can sometimes lead to more serious issues, the right-hander has made good progress early in his IL stint and doesn't currently appear to be dealing with a particularly severe injury.

Leone allowed two hits and struck out one in a scoreless inning to pick up a hold in Tuesday's 12-10 win over Atlanta.

Leone has emerged as more of a high-leverage option in June, recording five of his nine holds this season in his nine appearances this month. In that span, he's given up one run on nine hits and two walks with seven strikeouts in 8.2 innings. For the season, the veteran right-hander owns a steady 2.36 ERA with a 1.28 WHIP and 29:5 K:BB in 26.2 innings. He's added a save, a blown save and a 3-0 record, though he's likely to be fourth at best in the bullpen hierarchy behind Camilo Doval, Jake McGee and Tyler Rogers.

Hill (2-0) earned the win over Arizona on Tuesday by retiring one batter.

The game went into extra innings, and Hill was brought in with two outs and two runners on base in the top of the 11th. He began his outing by hitting Josh Rojas with a pitch but got out of the bases-loaded situation by inducing a fielder's-choice groundout. Hill was then credited with the win when San Diego walked off with a victory in the bottom of the frame. The lefty reliever has pitched four straight scoreless outings and has collected five holds along with his pair of wins on the season.

Littell allowed two runs on a hit and a hit batter in one inning during Tuesday's 12-10 win over Atlanta.

Littell hit Michael Harris with a pitch and then surrendered a two-run home run to Ronald Acuna in the fourth inning. That briefly gave Atlanta the lead, but San Francisco pulled ahead in the sixth and held on from there to spare Littell a loss. He's given up four runs in his last 10.1 innings, and he's still looking a little shaky with a 5.19 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 22:3 K:BB across 26 innings overall. The right-hander has added a 1-2 record and three holds, but with six homers allowed, he'll need to work on keeping the ball in the yard to find more success.

Rogers (1-3) earned the win Tuesday versus Atlanta. He pitched two perfect innings and struck out one.

With Anthony DeSclafani (ankle) going just three innings in his return, the Giants' bullpen was asked to soak up the remaining six innings. Rogers did his part well, keeping runs off the board for the third time in his last four outings. The right-hander has had some mixed results this year with a 5.01 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 19:9 K:BB through 32.1 innings across 32 appearances. He's added 10 holds and a blown save while continuing to function in a mostly high-leverage role despite some inconsistent pitching.

Suter tossed 1.1 scoreless innings of relief in Tuesday's loss to the Cardinals.

Suter allowed runs in his first two appearances in June, but he has now gone four straight outings without ceding an earned run. After picking up the win a career-high 12 times last season, Suter has tallied just one win up to this point in 2022.

Rainey gave up a hit and struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday to record his eighth save of the season in a 3-0 win over the Orioles.

It's his first save in over two weeks, as late leads remain few and far between for the 25-46 Nationals. Rainey hasn't been particularly sharp lately as it is, posting a 5.40 ERA and 1.65 WHIP through 6.2 innings in June despite a 10:3 K:BB. However, his hold on the closer job for Washington seems reasonably secure.

Scott earned a save after recording two strikeouts during the ninth inning of Tuesday's win over the Rockies. He walked one batter and didn't allow a hit.

The left-hander has now issued four walks over his past three appearances, but he had no other issues Tuesday while protecting a one-run lead. Scott has taken ahold of the closer role in June and is 5-for-6 in save opportunities with a 3.12 ERA and 15:4 K:BB over 8.2 innings, though his 4.67 ERA for the campaign diminishes his longer-term prospects.

Manaea allowed two runs on four hits and three walks with six strikeouts in six innings versus the Diamondbacks on Tuesday. He did not factor in the decision.

Manaea allowed a two-run inside-the-park home run to Jordan Luplow in the third inning, but that was the extent of Arizona's offense. It was a solid bounce-back for Manaea after he allowed five runs in his previous start. He's now logged quality starts in 10 of his 13 appearances, though he's yet to post more than three such outings in a row. For the season, he's at a 3.87 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 82:28 K:BB across 79 innings. The southpaw is projected for a rematch in Arizona next week.
