Wilson (3-7) dealt with hamstring cramps during Saturday's start against the Marlins and left after five innings, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports. He picked up the win after allowing two runs on four hits with three strikeouts and a walk.

Wilson apparently felt the cramping on every pitch during the fifth frame, which is when Miami tallied both its runs off him via a two-run homer from Nick Fortes. The right-hander pitched well even with the injury, as he threw 48 of his 68 pitches for strikes. Wilson downplayed the issue after the contest, so he may be able to make his next turn through the rotation.

Kranick will be added to the major-league roster to start Sunday against the Marlins, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

The right-hander has been with the Pirates over the past few days as a member of the taxi squad, and he'll officially rejoin the big-league roster to start Sunday's series finale. Kranick has a 7.66 ERA, 1.78 WHIP and 19:10 K:BB across 24.2 innings this season, and it's unclear whether or not he'll remain in the rotation for the final two weeks of the campaign.

Long was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Long was promoted from Triple-A on Thursday and will return there after delivering 1.1 scoreless frames in his lone appearances. Alex Wood (illness) was activated from the injured list in a corresponding move.

Jansen struck out the only batter he faced and recorded his 34th save in the Dodgers' 5-1 win over the Reds on Saturday.

Jansen inherited a two-on, two-out situation Saturday and got Eugenio Suarez swinging to secure the victory for the Dodgers. The right-hander has now gone 14 appearances and 13.1 innings without allowing an earned run and has a K:BB of 16:3 over that span.

Frias was recalled from Triple-A Reno on Saturday.

Frias was promoted from Double-A Amarillo to Triple-A Reno on Aug. 16. Since, he's posted a 5.82 ERA and 1.75 WHIP while walking 16 hitters across 21.1 frames and five starts with Reno. While it's unclear when Frias will first take a major-league mound, it's likely that he'll draw a start in the coming days.

Flores was designated for assignment Saturday.

Flores was claimed off waivers by the Rockies in late June. However, he's managed to pitch only 2.1 innings at Triple-A Albuquerque after spending two months on the injured list.

Kahnle (elbow) will not pitch this season, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Kahnle underwent Tommy John surgery in August of 2020, so there was some hope that he may return late this season. However, he has only progressed to playing catch and will not have time to ramp up to game action. Kahnle should be ready to pitch out of the Dodgers' bullpen at the beginning of next season.

Alexander (shoulder) will not return during the 2021 season, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Alexander has been sidelined since July 20 with inflammation in his shoulder, an issue that also affected him earlier in the season. He'll close the campaign with a 2.93 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 8:4 K:BB across 15.1 innings.

Rogers allowed three runs on three hits in one inning, taking a blown save in Friday's 6-5 extra-innings win over Atlanta.

The right-hander gave up a three-run home run to Travis d'Arnaud in the top of the ninth inning, although Donovan Solano tied the game for San Francisco with a solo shot to force extras. Rogers hadn't allowed a run in 14 innings entering Friday's contest. With Jake McGee (oblique) on the injured list, Gabe Kapler expects to mix-and-match with Rogers, Tony Watson and Dominic Leone handling late-inning duties going forward, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Rogers has pitched to a 2.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 49:10 K:BB while adding 12 saves, 27 holds and six blown saves across 72 innings this year.

Doval (3-1) earned the win in extra innings Friday against Atlanta after tossing a scoreless 11th inning.

Doval only needed seven pitches to get the job done en route to his third win of the season. He's yet to allow a run in six appearances this month, posting a 7:3 K:BB through 5.2 innings in that span.
