The Pirates reinstated Underwood from the 10-day injured list Sunday.

The righty missed the minimum amount of time after landing on the injured list July 9 with side soreness. Underwood has a 4.86 ERA in 50 innings this year, but he had a 3.67 ERA before allowing a seven-run inning in his most recent appearance. Nick Mears was optioned to Triple-A Indianapolis in a corresponding move.

He was called up Friday but didn't enter a game this weekend. Mears has a 5.30 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 25:9 K:BB in 18.2 innings at Triple-A.

Crowe allowed four runs on six hits and three walks in 5.1 innings Saturday, taking a no-decision against the Mets. He also had three strikeouts.

Crowe worked into the sixth inning for the first time since May 8 but was tagged by J.D. Davis for a pair of two-run home runs and left the game trailing 4-0. The 26-year-old Crowe is now 1-5 in 15 appearances (13 starts) with a bloated 6.12 ERA and 1.62 WHIP across 60.1 innings. He's tentatively lined up to make his next start next week at San Francisco.

Diaz (3-4) allowed four runs on two hits and one walk over two-thirds of an inning in a blown save Saturday against the Pirates. He struck out a pair.

Diaz gave up a walkoff grand slam to Pittsburgh catcher Jacob Stallings with two outs in the ninth inning, the second straight blown save for the New York closer. Diaz has allowed runs in four of his last five appearances, causing his ERA to balloon from 2.84 to 4.17. He's still converted 19 of 22 save opportunities with a terrific 52:15 K:BB in 36.2 innings, but he's now allowed nine baserunners and six runs over his last two outings.

Manager Craig Counsell said following Saturday's win over the Reds that Boxberger exited the contest with right shoulder stiffness, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Boxberger left after allowing a game-tying homer to Jonathan India in the bottom of the eighth inning. His velocity appeared to be down during the relief appearance, which makes sense given that he is dealing with a shoulder issue. The skipper labeled the right-hander day-to-day, so it remains to be seen if he'll be available for Sunday's series finale.

Boxberger left Saturday's game against Cincinnati due to an undisclosed injury, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Boxberger entered with the Brewers leading 3-2 in the bottom of the eighth, but he quickly exited after allowing a game-tying homer to Jonathan India. Per Nightengale, the right-hander's velocity was down. Milwaukee will likely provide an update following Saturday's game, and until then, the reliever can be considered day-to-day.

Kimbrel allowed a walk and struck out two to earn a save in Saturday's 4-2 win over Arizona.

This was the 33-year-old's first save since June 20 -- his last four appearances all came in non-save situations. Kimbrel shook off the rust with a scoreless inning Friday prior to picking up the save Saturday. He's been excellent this year with a 0.53 ERA, 0.65 WHIP and 58:11 K:BB across 33.2 innings. He's now 21-for-23 in save chances.

Alzolay allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two in five innings versus Arizona on Saturday. He did not factor in the decision.

Alzolay was able to put an end to his five-start losing streak, but the Cubs' lack of offense early on didn't make it easy. The right-hander got off the hook when the Cubs pulled ahead in the top of the ninth. The 26-year-old has a 4.59 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 83:24 K:BB through 82.1 innings this season. He lines up for another road start in St. Louis next week.

Perdomo was recalled from Triple-A Nashville prior to Saturday's game against Cincinnati.

With Devin Williams landing on the 10-day injured list with right elbow discomfort, a spot opened up on the 26-man roster for Perdomo to rejoin the Brewers' bullpen. Perdomo spent over a month and a half in the majors in the early portion of the season, but was placed on the injured list in late May with a back strain, and was later optioned to Triple-A when he was activated. The left-hander will resume his big-league campaign with a 7.11 ERA and 19:12 K:BB.

Williams showed no signs of injury late in the first half, allowing just a single earned run in his last 15 appearances. Per Adam McCalvy of MLB.com, president of baseball operations David Stearns said that a Saturday MRI revealed no structural damage, and that the right-hander is not expected to require a lengthy absence. The Brewers can backdate the transaction by three days, leaving Williams eligible to return next Saturday, but it's not yet clear if he'll be in contention to do so.
