Underwood (2-2) pitched two scoreless innings, allowing two hits and a walk while striking out four to earn the win versus Miami.

Starter Mitch Keller left the game with a heat illness, and Underwood was the first reliever to enter. He did well in relief, and Pittsburgh pulled ahead on his watch, which put him in line for the win. The right-hander has a 3.93 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 34:12 K:BB across 34.1 innings this year. He's added one hold, but Underwood has taken on a bulk relief role lately -- five of his last seven outings have spanned multiple innings.

Hand retired the only batter he faced to earn the save in Friday's 2-1 win over Philadelphia.

Hand retired Brad Miller on a flyout to close out the game. The closer is now 10-for-12 in save chances this season. He's posted a 3.48 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 20:9 K:BB across 20.2 innings. Hand continues to maintain a strong grip on the closer role in Washington.

Graterol (forearm) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list and optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday.

Graterol had been on the injured list since April 29 due to right forearm tightness, and he recently began a rehab assignment with the Triple-A club. He was expected to have a high-leverage role in the Dodgers' injury-riddled bullpen once he was reinstated, but he'll remain in the minors in the near future. If he performs well with Triple-A Oklahoma City, it wouldn't be surprising to see Graterol return to the major-league bullpen at some point.

Arano was designated for assignment by Atlanta on Friday.

The 26-year-old had a two-day stint in the majors in May without seeing game action, and he's now lost his spot on the 40-man roster. Arano last saw extended run in the big leagues with the Phillies in 2018 and posted a 2.73 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 60:17 K:BB over 59.1 innings, but he's pitched in only three games over the past two seasons.

Hernandez (quadriceps) was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

The 26-year-old was sidelined for two months by a biceps injury only to suffer a quadriceps strain in his return to action Thursday. Hernandez remains without a timeline for his return, but the fact he's sporting crutches is hardly an encouraging sign. The right-hander underwent an MRI which should help determine the severity of the injury.

Williams earned a hold while allowing one run on a hit and two walks across one inning during Thursday's win over the Diamondbacks. He recorded three strikeouts.

The 26-year-old was unavailable out of the bullpen for unspecified reasons over the past couple days, but he return to action Thursday. Williams entered in the eighth inning and walked David Peralta to start the frame, with Peralta coming around to score on a single after advancing to second base on a wild pitch. Williams has mostly rebounded from a horrible start to the season, but he continues to be hurt by free passes. Over his past 11 appearances, Williams has only been scored upon in the four outings in which he issued a walk.

Melancon earned the save Thursday against the Mets after firing a scoreless inning, giving up one hit and one walk.

Melancon was coming off two straight blown saves and while he bounced back in this one, it was far from a clean outing since he still allowed two baserunners. The walks have been an issue for Melancon of late, as he has issued five free passes with no strikeouts over his last three outings. Despite the recent struggles, he still owns a 0.71 ERA with 18 saves across 20 chances.

Hader allowed one hit but struck out three in a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save Thursday against the Diamondbacks.

Hader had a three-run cushion and was never in danger of blowing the lead while earning his 13th save of the campaign. He's now allowed only two earned runs in 22.2 innings of work this season, and he has turned in seven consecutive scoreless appearances.

Sims allowed two hits and a walk over two scoreless innings to earn the save in the win over the Cardinals on Thursday.

Sims entered the eighth inning with a two-run lead, and he was able to shut the door on St. Louis to secure the win despite allowing the tying runner to reach base during the ninth inning. This was the 27-year-old's first multi-inning save of the season. Cincinnati's closer situation is complicated, as there has only been 11 saves to go around so far this season between five Reds relievers. Sims leads the team with just four saves in five save chances.

Hernandez was diagnosed with a right quad strain after exiting Thursday's game against the Pirates.

Hernandez had to be helped off the field in the top of the sixth inning after he pulled up while running from third base to home plate. It's not yet clear whether the injury will force the right-hander to miss additional time. If he's able to make his next turn through the rotation, he tentatively lines up to face the Rockies at home Tuesday.
