Hildenberger was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

The 30-year-old was promoted to the big leagues last week and surrendered four runs over 2.1 innings during his time with the team. Hildenberger also struggled with the Mets in 2020 with a 10.47 ERA across 16.1 innings.

Smith was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Smith was activated from the 10-day injured list in late April and sent down, but he'll join the Mets ahead of Sunday's series finale. Trevor Hildenberger was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Lawrence was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Lawrence was promoted at the end of April and gave up four runs on five hits with a 6:4 K:BB over 4.1 innings during his first taste of MLB action. Yency Almonte (hand) was activated from the injured list in a corresponding move.

Almonte (hand) was activated from the 10-day injured list Sunday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

The 26-year-old has been on the injured list since April 29 with a bruised right hand, and he'll rejoin Colorado's bullpen Sunday. Almonte has surrendered 12 runs with a 9:7 K:BB through 8.2 innings this season.

Guzman (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Sunday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

The 25-year-old has been on the injured list since the start of the season with right elbow inflammation and doesn't appear particularly close to a return, so the move may not affect his return timeline. Guzman was throwing from 105 feet earlier in the week and will be eligible to return from the shelf at the end of May.

Castano was optioned to Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

The 26-year-old took the loss Saturday after surrendering three runs over four innings, and he'll now make his way to Triple-A. Castano has a 5.19 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 10:7 K:BB over 17.1 innings (four starts) for the Marlins this season.

Treinen struck out two over a perfect ninth inning to secure his first save of the season in Saturday's 14-11 win over the Angels.

Kenley Jansen was likely available out of the bullpen after having not pitched either of the previous two days, but manager Dave Roberts instead elected to go with Treinen for the save chance after Jansen melted down in his most recent appearance Wednesday. Treinen turned in a stress-free ninth inning to put an end to the Angels' comeback from a 13-run deficit, and he may have positioned himself as the next man up for saves if the Dodgers decide to move Jansen out of the closer's role at some point. Despite an ugly 13:13 K:BB in 13.1 innings this season, Jansen's track record prior to 2021 likely gives him more job security than most relievers with his stat line.

May pitched a scoreless ninth inning, allowing just one hit to secure the save in Mets' win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

May picked up his first save of the 2021 campaign in his first opportunity with Edwin Diaz unavailable. May hasn't allowed any runs since his first appearance this season. Diaz is the normal closer, but May has been more consistent with a 1.46 ERA and 0.97 WHIP in 12.1 innings. He serves as the setup man, but May could be in line for more saves down the road.

De Los Santos (0-1) allowed four runs (three earned) on two hits and walk without recording an out in Saturday's 8-7 win over the Phillies.

De Los Santos came in on the 12th with a three-run lead and proceeded to allow a walk, a single and a double to tie the game before being removed. Matt Moore came on and allowed the winning run to score in what resulted in a loss and a blown save. This was a rough outing for the young pitcher although he only has pitched in two games.

Webb (1-1) won Saturday's 8-7 game over Philadelphia, allowing three runs (one earned) on two hits.

Webb came on in the 12th and allowed three runs to cross the plate, thanks in part to his own throwing error, yet still won the game due to the Atlanta comeback. An inflated 6.55 ERA proves he isn't typically utilized in high-leverage situations.
