Edwards was designated for assignment Saturday.

Edwards spent just one day on Atlanta's active and 40-man rosters, and it didn't go well for him. He recorded just one out Friday against the Phillies, allowing three runs on three hits and a walk. He could return as bullpen depth at some point this season if he passes through waivers unclaimed.

Arano was recalled by Atlanta on Saturday.

Arano showed high-leverage potential in his first two seasons in the majors in 2017 and 2018, posting a 2.57 ERA and 3.13 FIP in 70 innings of work, but he battled elbow issues in 2019 and shoulder troubles in 2020, throwing just 4.2 innings. Still just 26 years old, Arano may still possess his former promise, but the fact that Atlanta kept him in the minors for over a month to start the year suggests expectations should be modest for now.

Rogers pitched a perfect eighth inning to earn a hold in Friday's 5-4 win over San Diego.

Manager Gabe Kapler indicated Rogers could get a look at ninth-inning duties with Jake McGee struggling, but the skipper opted to keep the hierarchy at the back of the bullpen intact Friday. It worked out just fine, with Rogers collecting his ninth hold and McGee pitching a scoreless ninth inning for the save. The 30-year-old Rogers has a 0.96 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 10:3 K:BB across 18.2 innings. He's picked up a pair of saves when McGee wasn't available -- Rogers is likely to stick in a high-leverage role throughout the season.

Doval (1-1) pitched a perfect seventh inning with one strikeout to earn the win Friday over San Diego.

Doval had allowed five runs over his three previous outings, but he locked things down Friday. An Austin Slater solo shot in the bottom of the seventh put San Francisco ahead, and that lead stood to give Doval his first major-league win. The 23-year-old has a 7.04 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, three holds and two blown saves across nine appearances spanning 7.2 innings.

Kelly allowed four runs on five hits in two-thirds of an inning against the Angels on Friday. He did not register any walks or strikeouts.

The veteran right-hander made his 2021 debut after missing over a month while recovering from offseason shoulder surgery. Kelly did not look sharp in the brief appearance, yielding a triple, three doubles and a single, resulting in four runs. Some rust was to be expected given Kelly's long layoff, and he'll almost certainly receive ample opportunity to right the ship given the number of Dodgers relievers currently on the shelf.

Chafin allowed a run on a hit and a walk across an inning of work but was able to record a hold in Friday's win over the Pirates.

It was the first time Chafin allowed a run in an appearance since April 24, and his ERA still sits at a solid 3.60. He now leads the Cubs with six holds and should continue to work as the team's top left-handed reliever.

Finnegan (2-0) allowed no hits and one walk while striking out one in a scoreless seventh inning to earn the win against the Yankees on Friday.

Finnegan tossed an immaculate inning Wednesday, and he was brought on during a 3-3 matchup Friday. He was able to pick up his second win of the season after the Nationals scored six runs in the top of the eighth inning. Finnegan has posted a 3.29 ERA and 18:6 K:BB in 13.2 innings this year, but his fantasy value is limited by his low-leverage role.

Suter exited Friday's game against the Marlins due to right calf cramps, Sophia Minnaert of Bally Sports Wisconsin reports.

Suter left Friday's spot start with a trainer after just 2.1 innings, but his calf issue likely won't force him to miss significant time. The left-hander will likely be available out of the bullpen in the near future.

Suter was removed from Friday's game against the Marlins in the third inning with an apparent injury, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Suter was making his first start of the season Friday and allowed one run on four hits and a walk while striking out two in 2.1 innings to begin the game. However, he issued a walk and allowed a single in the bottom of the third inning and left the game with a trainer. The nature and severity of his injury aren't yet known.

Garcia (groin) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Friday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Garcia had been sidelined since April 24 due to a left groin strain, but he'll now return to the bullpen. He posted an 8.53 ERA and 1.42 WHIP in 6.1 innings to begin the season.
