Rogers (1-0) earned the win Tuesday against the Mariners after tossing a scoreless inning. He allowed one hit and one walk while fanning one.

Rogers now has posted back-to-back scoreless appearances out of the bullpen after allowing three runs in two outings (1.2 innings) earlier this month. Rogers has three saves but has also blown two other save chances this season and, while he should remain as a reliable late-inning arm for San Francisco, it seems he will remain behind Tony Watson in the save pecking order.

Jansen (3-0) earned the win Tuesday against the Diamondbacks. He gave up three runs (two earned) on three hits while fanning one across 1.1 innings.

Jansen entered the game in the bottom of the ninth with a runner on first, but the Dodgers escaped the threat by putting Tim Locastro out at home. He struggled in the 10th inning as well, giving up a two-run homer to Christian Walker and a two-out RBI single to David Peralta before ending the game with a strikeout. Jansen might have earned the win here, but he is not expected to be happy with his performance.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said he's likely to stick with Ginkel as the closer "for the time being," Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

Ginkel blew his first chance at closing last week against the Dodgers but nailed down a win two days later against the Giants. "Even though he gave up the lead (against the Dodgers), I thought he threw the ball and was repeating his pitches very well," Lovullo said. Ginkel got the first chance to close games based on his performance and results during the second half of the 2019 season, when he posted a 1.48 ERA over 25 games in August and September.

Hudson recorded the save Tuesday against the Rays with one strikeout and one hit allowed during a scoreless ninth inning.

The veteran right-hander surrendered a one-out single, but he still needed only 14 pitches to finish off the victory. Hudson has posted a 5.74 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 21:5 K:BB over 15.2 innings while going 9-for-12 in save opportunities.

Gallegos gave up a solo home run and struck out one in 1.1 innings to record his fourth save of the season during the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Twins.

Entering the game to protect a 6-3 lead with two outs in the sixth inning, Gallegos was taken deep by Nelson Cruz in the seventh but shut the door from there. Andrew Miller worked the sixth for his second hold, and that seems to be manager Mike Shildt's preferred pecking order right now in high-leverage situations.

Cabrera (3-1) picked up the win in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Twins, walking one and striking out one in a scoreless fourth inning.

He took over for Daniel Ponce de Leon after the Cards had grabbed a 5-2 lead in the bottom of the third, and Cabrera's effectiveness earned him the win from the official scorer. The southpaw has only been scored upon once in his last nine appearances, and on the year he now sports a 2.70 ERA and 19:10 K:BB through 13.1 innings, conceding only four hits during that time.

Ponce de Leon didn't factor into the decision in a 6-4 win over the Twins during the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk over three innings. He struck out four.

The right-hander was fairly effective in the spot start, with his only real mistake resulting in Brent Rooker's first career homer, but Ponce de Leon got the hook after 63 pitches (43 strikes) and wasn't able to qualify for the win. With the Cards having four more twin bills coming up over the next 10 days, this performance was likely good enough to earn Ponce de Leon another start in one of them as the team tries to find arms to cover all those innings. He still has a 7.47 ERA and 21:15 K:BB through 15.2 innings on the year, however, making him a very risky fantasy option even as a streamer.

Gsellman suffered a left oblique injury during Tuesday's loss to the Orioles, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.

The 27-year-old worked in long relief Tuesday and surrendered six runs on six hits and two walks over 3.2 innings while throwing a season-high 76 pitches before sustaining the injury. The team has yet to provide an official timeline for his return, but given the nature of the injury, Gsellman seems likely to require a stint on the injured list.

De Leon was recalled by the Reds on Tuesday.

De Leon has had a disastrous time in his three outings this season, allowing 12 runs in four innings while walking eight batters. His career ERA now sits at 9.11, though that comes in a small sample of just 27.2 innings.

Yamamoto was recalled by the Marlins on Tuesday.

Yamamoto was optioned to the Marlins' alternate training site following a rough start in the middle of August, but he'll return to the major-league pitching staff. It's unclear when he'll make his first appearance, but the Marlins are scheduled to play four doubleheaders over the next two weeks, so he may very well be needed as a starter. The right-hander has struggled to an 11.42 ERA and 2.42 WHIP over 8.2 innings so far this season.
