Iglesias gave up a hit and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Friday to record his 23rd save of the season in a 5-2 win over the Cubs.

After serving up homers in three straight appearances in mid-July, Iglesias has righted the ship and been absolutely dominant, posting a 0.00 ERA and 9:0 K:BB through his last 7.1 innings while converting all six of his save chances. The 29-year-old now sports a 3.93 ERA and 65:19 K:BB through 50.1 innings on the year.

Melancon will serve as Atlanta's closer moving forward, Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Shane Greene has struggled since joining the Braves, surrendering five runs over 3.1 innings of work, so skipper Brian Snitker will roll with Melancon out of the closer's role moving forward. The right-hander tossed a scoreless frame Friday night in an 8-4 win over Miami, and he'll be the top option in save situations until further notice. Greene figures to shift to a setup role for the time being.

Reyes was recalled from Triple-A El Paso on Friday.

Reyes hasn't found success in the big leagues this season, accruing a 10.91 ERA and 1.66 WHIP with a 23:9 K:BB over 15.2 innings. He'll get another shot in the majors after Jose Castillo was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left middle finger strain.

Kinley was recalled from Triple-A New Orleans on Friday, Andre Fernandez of The Athletic reports.

He wouldn't normally be eligible to return to the majors after getting sent to Triple-A earlier this week, but with Tayron Guerrero (fingernail) landing on the injured list, Kinley can be recalled in a corresponding move. He has not allowed a run in 4.1 innings in August.

Barraclough was claimed off waivers by the Giants on Friday.

Barraclough was designated for assignment by the Nationals earlier in the week and will now make his way to the west coast. The 29-year-old had a 6.66 ERA and 30:12 K:BB over 25.2 innings with Washington and will report to Triple-A Sacramento for his new club.

Weigel was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett prior to Friday's game in Miami.

He hasn't pitched in three days, so Weigel will give the Braves a fresh bullpen arm in the short term. While he has been developed as a starter for most of this season (his first full year back from Tommy John surgery), he has been deployed as a reliever lately at Triple-A. Weigel has not allowed a run while striking out six and allowing two hits and two walks over his last seven innings. Despite a brief stint on the 25-man roster in July, the 25-year-old right-hander has yet to make his big-league debut.

The injury that caused Castillo to leave Thursday's game may be tendon-related, Dennis Lin of The Athletic reports.

An earlier report suggested that Castillo may have exited due to a blister, but the presence of a splint on his left middle finger after the game implies that the injury may be more severe. Castillo suffered the injury while pitching in his first major-league game this season following a stint on the 60-day injured list due to a left forearm flexor strain.

Castillo left Thursday's game against the Rockies due to an apparent finger injury, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports. He walked one and struck out two over 0.2 innings prior to departing.

Castillo was just activated from the injured list earlier in the day after missing time with a left forearm flexor strain, though he now appears to be dealing with a blister on his right hand, per Acee. The lefty will be considered day-to-day until more information on his status is revealed.
