Voth was recalled from Double-A Harrisburg to start Sunday's game versus the Braves.

Voth will step in to fill the gap left in the starting rotation after two postponements and a doubleheader created the need for an additional starter. The 26-year-old has a 4.40 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 68:15 K:BB at Triple-A Fresno this season and seems likely to head back to the minors after the outing.

Smith struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Saturday to record his 20th save of the season in a 7-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

The southpaw continues to enhance his trade value with a dominant performance as the Giants' closer. Smith has yet to blow a save this season and has been scored upon only once in his last 14 appearances, leading to a 2.01 ERA and 47:7 K:BB through 31.1 innings.

Beede didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Diamondbacks, allowing four runs on six hits and three walks over four innings while striking out three.

The right-hander needed 95 pitches (56 strikes) to record 12 outs, forcing him from the game before he could qualify for the win even though the Giants already held a 5-4 lead by the third inning. Beede will take a 6.96 ERA and 36:25 K:BB through 32.1 innings into his next start Thursday, a home rematch against the D-backs.

Lambert didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 5-4 extra-innings loss to the Dodgers, allowing three runs on seven hits and a walk over five innings while striking out one.

The rookie avoided any big rallies but was tagged for single runs in the second, third and fifth innings before hitting the showers with the score knotted 3-3. Lambert will take a 5.85 ERA and 16:4 K:BB through 20 innings into his next start Thursday -- a rematch with the Dodgers back at Coors Field.

Voth will be recalled from Triple-A Fresno to start Sunday's game against the Braves, Sam Fortier of The Washington Post reports.

Joe Ross was tentatively set to make the start, but he was needed out of the bullpen Saturday. Voth joined the Nationals for Wednesday's doubleheader but did not pitch, and he'll make his season debut in the majors Sunday. Quijada earned the first save of his career in Saturday's 5-3 win at Philadelphia, walking one batter over two-thirds of an inning. He did not record a strikeout.

Quijada was recalled from Triple-A New Orleans on Wednesday and now has two holds and a save in the last three games for the Marlins. The 23-year-old's two previous stints in the majors this season lasted only a few days apiece, so it should be interesting to see whether his high-leverage work this time around will help him to maintain a roster spot.

Hader struck out four over two perfect innings to nail down his 18th save in a 6-5 victory over the Reds on Saturday.

The dominant left-hander was extremely efficient, retiring six hitters on 18 pitches. Amazingly, Hader averaged four pitches per batter to the four hitters he struck out and then retired the other two on one-pitch groundouts. Hader is 18-for-19 in save opportunities with a 1.91 ERA, 0.66 WHIP and 73 strikeouts in 37.2 innings this season.

Hernandez surrendered three runs on four hits and two walks over five innings during Saturday's 5-3 win over the Phillies. He struck out six but did not factor in the decision.

Hernandez was hurt by the long ball Saturday with solo shots from Bryce Harper and Rhys Hoskins, but he was able to limit the damage overall and keep the Marlins within striking distance. The 24-year-old has a 4.34 ERA and 1.18 WHIP over 18.2 innings and lines up to pitch next weekend against the Phillies, assuming Caleb Smith (hip) isn't ready to return from the injured list.

Webb walked one and recorded one out to pick up his first career save Saturday against the Angels.

Webb was called upon after Jordan Hicks was forced to exit due to triceps tendinitis. Webb's opportunity appeared to be primarily a matter of circumstance, and it's not clear that he'd be near the top of the list for more save chances in the future if Hicks misses an extended period.

Hudson struck out six and improved to 6-3 after allowing just one run on five hits and a walk in seven innings against the Angels on Saturday.

Hudson's only blemish was a seventh-inning solo shot from Albert Pujols. The outing extended Hudson's streak of quality starts to eight and brought his ERA down to 3.36. Both his 16.0 percent strikeout rate and 9.9 percent walk rate are rather poor, but he's gotten by thanks to a strong 61.7 percent groundball rate. He lines up to pitch again next Saturday in San Diego.
