Elvin Rodriguez RP | ARI
Orioles' Elvin Rodriguez: Up from minors
The Orioles recalled Rodriguez from Double-A Chesapeake on Tuesday.
Rodriguez has thrown 2.2 innings of one-run ball with the Orioles' Triple-A affiliate since joining the organization in mid-July. He'll now join the big-league bullpen for the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader, though he will almost certainly be limited to low-leverage outings after turning in an 8.68 ERA in 18.2 innings with the Brewers. Yaramil Hiraldo was optioned to Double-A in a corresponding move.

Chad Green RP | TOR
Blue Jays' Chad Green: Pushed off 40-man roster
The Blue Jays designated Green for assignment Tuesday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Green will end up as the odd man out of a spot on the 26-man and 40-man rosters in Toronto following the acquisition of Seranthony Dominguez from Baltimore on Tuesday. Green has regressed considerably from last season, posting a 4.85 ERA and 1.41 WHIP alongside a 34:13 K:BB through 42.2 innings.

Tanner Scott RP | LAD
Dodgers' Tanner Scott: Resumes throwing
Manager Dave Roberts said Tuesday that Scott (elbow) has begun a throwing progression, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Scott still has several hurdles to clear before he can come off the injured list, but his return to throwing is a positive sign nonetheless. The 31-year-old reliever landed on the IL last Tuesday with elbow inflammation and remains without a clear return timeline, though he's still expected back in the Dodgers' bullpen before the end of the year.

Austin Adams RP | BOS
Austin Adams: Released by Red Sox
The Red Sox released Adams on Tuesday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
Adams was activated by Triple-A Worcester on April 22, but he was unable to find much success. In 24 appearances, he had a 9.13 ERA with a 34:21 K:BB across 23.2 innings. After playing in at least 32 games in 2023 and 2024, he has yet to crack the big leagues in 2025.

Gavin Hollowell RP | CHC
Cubs' Gavin Hollowell: Back in big-league bullpen
The Cubs recalled Hollowell from Triple-A Iowa on Tuesday.
Hollowell has a 5.24 ERA with a 34:12 K:BB in 22.1 innings across 20 games for Triple-A Iowa in 2025. Since being optioned back down May 12, he has a 6.23 ERA across 13 innings. With the 27-year-old returning to the active roster, Chris Flexen was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Seranthony Dominguez RP | CHW
Blue Jays' Seranthony Dominguez: Traded to Blue Jays
The Blue Jays acquired Dominguez from the Orioles in exchange for Juaron Watts-Brown between games of Tuesday's doubleheader in Baltimore, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
It ordinarily takes a couple days for a new player to join their new team, but Dominguez will be able to simply swap clubhouses in the middle of Tuesday's twin bill. The right-hander was expected to be in the mix for saves in Baltimore with Felix Bautista (shoulder) on the IL, but he should fill a setup role for Toronto. Dominguez has a 3.24 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 54:24 K:BB across 41.2 innings this season.

Rob Zastryzny RP | MIL
Brewers' Rob Zastryzny: Hopes to resume rehab soon
Zastryzny (ribs) will throw a bullpen session Wednesday and hopes to resume his rehab assignment this weekend, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.
Zastryzny had to be pulled off his rehab assignment Monday, but evidently the setback was deemed minor. The left-hander could be ready to rejoin the Brewers' bullpen by early August if all goes well.

Paxton Schultz RP | WAS
Blue Jays' Paxton Schultz: Activated from IL
The Blue Jays reinstated Schultz (finger) from the 15-day injured list after Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Orioles, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
The right-hander landed on the shelf about a month ago due to finger inflammation but will rejoin the Blue Jays after a two-game rehab assignment. Schultz will provide Toronto with some much-needed bullpen depth after a 16-4 loss in Tuesday's matinee.

Thomas Hatch RP | ARI
Royals' Thomas Hatch: Contract selected
The Royals selected Hatch's contract from Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday.
Hatch will give the Royals bullpen some length after starter Rich Hill lasted just four innings in Monday's loss to Atlanta. The righty is also a candidate to start later this week after Hill was removed from the 40-man roster Tuesday. Hatch holds a 4.22 ERA and 78:28 K:BB over 91.2 innings covering 18 starts with Omaha in 2025.
