Anderson is scheduled to start in Tuesday's game against the Marlins at LoanDepot Park.

Anderson is opening the season fifth in the Angels' rotation order coming off a poor debut season for Anaheim in 2023 in which he went 6-6 with a 5.43 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 119:64 K:BB over 141 innings. The lefty showed better in Cactus League play this spring (3.78 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, 20:3 K:BB in 16.2 innings), but fantasy managers outside of AL-only or deeper mixed leagues may want to see Anderson turn in better results in the games that count before trusting him as a streaming option.

Blackburn didn't factor into the decision Sunday versus the Guardians, throwing seven scoreless innings on three hits and a walk. He struck out three.

Blackburn was excellent in his first start of the season, retiring his first 12 batters and giving up no extra-base hits. He got out of a jam in the fifth inning, getting Gabriel Arias to fly out with the bases loaded. Despite the impressive outing, Blackburn didn't get the win after the Athletics bullpen surrendered three runs on three hits, a hit-by-pitch and a fielding error in the eighth frame. Blackburn will have an opportunity to build on his scoreless debut with tentative matchups against the Tigers and Nationals scheduled for his next two starts.

France didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Yankees, pitching 5.2 innings and allowing three runs on six hits and one walk. He struck out five.

France came one out shy of notching a quality start in his 2024 debut and was pulled after retiring the first two batters he faced in the sixth at 94 pitches. While Sunday's performance was by no means a disappointment, the second-year big-leaguer will likely have to do more to stick in the Astros rotation once Justin Verlander (shoulder) and Jose Urquidy (forearm) are healthy. France's next start is tentatively scheduled to come during a road series against the Rangers.

Schmidt didn't factor into the decision Sunday against Houston, going 5.1 innings and allowing three runs on seven hits and no walks. He struck out five.

Schmidt held the Astros in check Sunday, yielding merely two extra-base hits. The pair of knocks came via a Jose Altuve homer in the third and an RBI double by Kyle Tucker in the sixth that ended Schmidt's day. The 27-year-old is entering his second year as a full-time starter and should remain at the back end of the Yankees fivesome even after Gerrit Cole (elbow) comes off the 60-day IL. Schmidt is expected to take the mound next weekend during a homestand against Toronto.

Ober (0-1) picked up the loss after he pitched 1.1 innings, allowing eight runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out a batter, in Sunday's 11-0 defeat against the Royals.

Ober was off his game Sunday, allowing three homers to Kansas City, including a three-run shot by Salvador Perez in the first inning. The right-hander allowed two more homers to open the second frame, failing to make it out of the inning. Ober will try to hit the reset button before returning to the mound for his next projected start Sunday versus the Guardians.

Singer (1-0) earned the win after he pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing three hits and a walk while striking out 10 batters in Sunday's 11-0 victory over the Twins.

Singer was in full command in his season debut, throwing 64 of his 98 total pitches for strikes while matching his 2023 season-high 10 punchouts. The right-hander has shown flashes throughout his first four major-league campaigns and is off to a great start in 2024. He's tentatively set to return to the mound Friday at home versus the White Sox.

Wells (0-1) took the loss Sunday, allowing three runs on five hits and no walks over six innings against the Angels. He struck out seven.

Wells had a shaky start Sunday after allowing a two-run homer to Taylor Ward in the first inning and yielding two more runs (one unearned) in the second. However, the Orioles pitcher was able to settle in and finished his outing with four straight scoreless innings and earned a quality start. Wells looks to be a dependable starter after producing a 3.64 ERA over 118.2 innings in 2023 and leaving spring training this year with a 1.26 ERA over 14.1 innings. His next start is scheduled to be against the Pirates on the road.

Detmers (1-0) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run, two hits and three walks over five innings against the Orioles. He struck out seven.

After the Orioles bludgeoned the Angels pitching staff for 24 runs over the first two games, Detmers stopped the bleeding with his first win of the season in a brilliant outing. He relied heavily on his fastball, throwing it 60.2 percent of the time and generating 12 whiffs against the vaunted Orioles lineup. Detmers managed to generate 24 strikeouts over 18.1 innings in spring training, so it's possible the former 10th overall pick is finding a new level. He is scheduled to face another AL East foe, the Red Sox, at home for his next start.

Flexen is scheduled to start Monday against Atlanta at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Between stops in Seattle and Colorado last season, Flexen turned in a 6.86 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 7.7 K-BB% across 102.1 innings. Despite those poor numbers, Flexen looks like he'll have plenty of leash in the White Sox rotation to begin the season, given the lack of attractive alternatives on the 40-man roster and on the farm. He'll tentatively line up for a two-start week with a more favorable outing on tap this weekend in pitcher-friendly Kansas City, but the upcoming start against a powerful Atlanta offense should be reason enough for fantasy managers to steer clear of Flexen in avoidance of ratio damage.

Kremer is listed as the Orioles' probable starting pitcher for Monday's game against the Royals in Baltimore.

Kremer headed into spring training with an inside track to a spot in the Orioles' Opening Day rotation, and he was able to secure a starting role without much stress after both Kyle Bradish (elbow) and John Means (forearm) were placed on the injured list. The 28-year-old right-hander's early-season form will likely determine whether he sticks as a member of the rotation once both Bradish and Means are ready to make their respective debuts. Kremer finished Grapefruit League play with a 3.94 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 16:6 K:BB over 16 innings.
