Javier (10-5) yielded three hits and two walks over six shutout frames Sunday, striking out four and earning a win over Arizona.

Javier allowed just one extra-base hit and never found himself in much danger Sunday, cruising to his 10th victory. It was his first win since Aug. 21 and first scoreless appearance since June 15. Despite posting a 2.84 ERA through his first 12 starts, Javier ended the regular season with a disappointing 4.56 ERA through 162 innings. In 11 starts since the beginning of August, he recorded a 5.00 ERA.

Rodriguez (13-9) earned the win Sunday, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk over seven innings in a 5-2 win over Cleveland. He struck out five.

Rodriguez managed to go seven innings for a second start in a row, picking apart the Guardians lineup to close out the season on a high note. The southpaw put up a 3.89 ERA across 81 innings after returning in July from a finger injury, which may have factored into his decline from the 2.64 ERA he managed in 71.2 innings during the first half of the season. Rodriguez finished the campaign with a solid 3.30 ERA and 1.15 WHIP across 152.2 innings with 143 strikeouts.

Gray will start Game 2 of the AL Wild Card Series against the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Gray, who is a free agent this offseason, finished strong with a 1.54 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 36 strikeouts in 41 innings over his final seven starts. Pablo Lopez is starting Game 1 for Minnesota.

Eflin will start Game 2 of the AL Wild Card Series against the Rangers on Wednesday.

One of the top breakout arms of 2023, Eflin finished strong with a 2.98 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 54 strikeouts over 45.1 innings in his final eight starts. Tyler Glasnow is starting Game 1.

Glasnow is starting Game 1 of the AL Wild Card Series against the Rangers on Tuesday.

Glasnow struggled in a few starts in September, but he still struck out 48 batters in 33.1 innings over his six starts last month. Zach Eflin will start Game 2 on Wednesday.

Bradish will only throw a couple innings Sunday against the Red Sox, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports.

It will turn into a bullpen game once Bradish hurls a couple frames, as the Orioles just want to let him keep his routine in advance of the postseason.

Keuchel was placed on the 15-day injured list Sunday with an undisclosed injury, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Jorge Alcala will take Keuchel's place in the Twins' bullpen. Keuchel may not be dealing with anything serious, but given that he posted an 8.24 ERA and 1.88 WHIP in his last 19.2 innings, it makes sense that he wouldn't be in the mix for a spot on the postseason roster.

Parsons' contract was selected from Triple-A Buffalo and he will start Sunday's game against the Rays.

This would have been Kevin Gausman's turn in the rotation, but the Jays will save him for the postseason. Parsons has logged five-plus innings in 11 of his last 14 starts at Triple-A, posting a 4.15 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 82 strikeouts in 69.1 innings over that stretch.

Detmers is not listed as Sunday's starter against the Athletics.

The Angels will give Carson Fulmer the ball Sunday, and given that Detmers hasn't followed an opener all season, it would seem that he is done for the year. The 24-year-old southpaw logged a 4.48 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, 168 strikeouts and four wins over 148.2 innings.

Irvin was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday.

He takes the place of Bruce Zimmermann in the bullpen on the final day of the season, and could be used as a long man after the Orioles pull Sunday's starter Kyle Bradish. Irvin posted an 11.05 ERA and 2.59 WHIP in 7.1 innings in his two most recent appearances at Triple-A.
