Severino (4-8) earned the win Monday, allowing five hits over seven scoreless innings against the Tigers. He struck out eight without issuing a walk.

Severino scattered five hits en route to his second consecutive scoreless outing. The enigmatic 29-year-old struck out a season-high eight while not issuing any free passes for just the second time this year. Severino's back-to-back gems have lowered his season-long ERA to 6.64 after it ballooned to an unsightly 8.06 earlier in the month. He tentatively lines up to face a much tougher Astros offense at Minute Maid Park over the weekend.

Gausman (10-8) earned the win Monday, allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings against Washington. He struck out seven.

Gausman had to contend with traffic in all five innings, though he held the Nationals to three runs to reach double-digits victories. The 32-year-old Gausman has been somewhat inconsistent of late, pitching to a 5.51 ERA over his last three outings. Overall, he sports a 3.30 ERA with a 1.18 WHIP and 202:40 K:BB across 26 starts (87 innings) this season. Gausman currently lines up for a road matchup with the Rockies in his next outing.

Maeda allowed six runs on seven hits and a walk over four innings in Monday's win against Cleveland. He struck out three and did not factor in the decision.

Most of the damage against Maeda came during Cleveland's four-run second inning, but Minnesota's offense prevented him from taking a loss. He had allowed three or fewer runs in 11 straight outings prior to Monday's hiccup. During that stretch, he posted a 2.91 ERA but now owns a 4.69 ERA on the year. Maeda is currently lined up to start in Texas this weekend.

Olson (2-6) allowed one run on three hits across 4.1 innings and took the loss Monday against the Yankees. He walked four and struck out 10.

It was a mixed bag for Olson, who needed 100 pitches to retire only 13 batters. However, the rookie also recorded a career-high 10 strikeouts and limited New York to just the one run, which kept the Tigers in the game until the bullpen faltered. Despite not completing five innings, it was a step in the right direction for Olson after allowing 10 runs over his last two starts (7.1 innings). The righty will look to keep this up and go a bit deeper in the contest during his next outing, which is currently penciled in for Saturday against the White Sox.

Kopech (5-12) took the loss Monday, allowing four runs on seven hits and four walks over four innings against the Orioles. He struck out five.

It was another tough outing for Kopech, who's now gone four straight starts without making it through five frames. He's allowed 17 runs in that span (16.1 innings) while issuing 17 walks. Command continues to be an issue for Kopech, who's struggled to a career-worst 15-percent walk rate this season. Overall, his ERA is up to 5.08 with a 1.53 WHIP and 127:84 K:BB across 25 starts (124 innings) this season. Kopech will look to get back on track in his next outing, tentatively scheduled for this weekend against Detroit.

Rodriguez (4-3) earned the win Monday, allowing one hit and one walk over six scoreless innings against the White Sox. He struck out six.

Rodriguez delivered the best performance of his rookie campaign Monday, holding the White Sox to just one hit over six innings en route to his fourth win. The 23-year-old Rodriguez hasn't allowed more than three runs in a start since July 17 -- he's worked to a 2.32 ERA over his last seven outings (42.2 innings). Overall, Rodriguez's ERA sits at 5.03 with a 1.35 WHIP and 97:35 K:BB across 18 starts (93 innings) this season. He'll look to keep rolling in his next outing, currently lined up for early next week against the Angels.

Miller (elbow) will make his next rehab appearance Tuesday for Triple-A Las Vegas, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Miller could be making his final start in the minors Tuesday, as the team is considering activating him when rosters expand Sept. 1. The flamethrower is expected to toss 50 pitches or three frames in Tuesday's outing. If all goes according to plan, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Miller step back into the Oakland rotation as soon as Sunday, though he would likely be on some sort of a workload restriction if he pitches in the Athletics' series finale with the Angels.

Medina (finger) completed a bullpen session Sunday and is set to make a rehab start for Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Medina made it through a side session without any setbacks, paving the way for him to head to Las Vegas for what should be a brief rehab assignment. The right-hander landed on the 15-day injured list Aug. 21 due to a blister on his right index finger.

Ober was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul on Monday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

The Twins have sent Ober to the minor leagues to make room for Kody Funderburk. Ober has struggled in five August starts, posting a 5.63 ERA and 1.50 WHIP with a 25:8 K:BB across 24 innings. The right-hander will be a candidate to rejoin the squad when rosters expand, given his 3.67 ERA through 22 starts (122.2 frames) so far this season.

Lynch (shoulder) will throw a bullpen session Tuesday, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Lynch has been shut down since late July after receiving an injection in his injured shoulder, but he resumed playing catch Aug. 11 and now appears ready to take another step forward by getting back on the bump. Since he'll require multiple bullpen sessions and then multiple live batting practice sessions to get stretched back out before he heads out on a minor-league rehab assignment, Lynch may not be a realistic option to start games for the Royals until mid-to-late September.
