Ober did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing two runs on two hits and three walks over five innings against the Brewers. He struck out three.

All the damage against Ober came early, with Willy Adames launching a two-run home run in the first inning to mark Ober's seventh consecutive start allowing a long ball, a streak that dates back to the All-Star Break. He also tied his season high in walks and was pulled after 78 pitches despite holding the Brewers to a pair of hits. The outing continued a mildly concerning stretch of brief starts for Ober, who has gone five or fewer frames in five consecutive appearances. He'll likely have a tough time pitching deep in his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to come against the Rangers.

Rodriguez did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing three runs on eight hits and two walks over six innings against the Blue Jays. He struck out five.

Rodriguez logged his third consecutive quality start Tuesday, though he was ultimately stuck with a no-decision in the Orioles' 6-3 defeat. The 23-year-old Rodriguez has pitched to a 3.24 ERA in seven starts since he was recalled from Triple-A on July 17. Overall, he's now 3-3 with a 5.38 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 91:34 K:BB across 17 starts (87 innings) this season. Rodriguez is currently lined up for a home matchup with the White Sox in his next outing.

Turnbull (neck) allowed three earned runs on six hits and two walks while striking out five across 3.2 innings in a rehab outing with Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Turnbull made his sixth and final rehab appearance but the results weren't impressive. Across his last two outings, he's allowed nine earned runs across 8.2 innings, though he has maintained a 10:3 K:BB in that span. Given those results, it's possible that the Tigers opt to activate Turnbull and then option him to Toledo with the hopes that he can regain his top form.

Greinke (elbow) was reinstated from the 15-day injured list ahead of his expected appearance Tuesday versus the Athletics.

Greinke landed on the injured list Aug. 8 with right posterior elbow soreness. The veteran allowed five earned runs in his last outing, falling to 1-12 on the season. It's expected Greinke will follow opener Angel Zerpa in Tuesday's game. With the 39-year-old's reinstatement from the IL, Dylan Coleman was optioned to Triple-A Omaha in a corresponding move.

The Mariners will likely limit Woo to four innings Tuesday against the White Sox, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Woo was just activated from the injured list after missing 18 days with a forearm injury, and since he didn't go on a rehab assignment, the team will be cautious with his workload in this first start back. He is a solid add in fantasy going forward, but don't expect Woo to qualify for a win in Tuesday's start.

Woo missed almost three weeks with right forearm inflammation. The rookie did not need a rehab assignment after the Mariners were pleased with how his bullpen sessions went. As he works himself back from the injured list, his workload may be monitored. The starting pitcher returns as Emerson Hancock (shoulder) heads to the 60-day injured list.

Hancock (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

Hancock was placed on the 15-day injured list after he left Sunday's game with a right shoulder strain. Now on the 60-day IL, the 24-year-old cannot return for the rest of the regular season. Bryan Woo (forearm) was activated from the injured list Tuesday as well, and the Mariners also signed veteran Luke Weaver as additional pitching reinforcement.

The Orioles hope to bring Means (elbow) back from the 60-day injured list in early September, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Means threw four innings of one-run ball while striking out four in Sunday's rehab start for Double-A Bowie, and based on his target timeline, he'll make at least one more rehab start before joining the big club. If he stays on turn, he would line up to make his 2023 Orioles debut either Sept. 4 or Sept. 5 in the series in Anaheim.

Wells was promoted Tuesday from Double-A Bowie to Triple-A Norfolk, where he will pitch out of the bullpen, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

It's been an interesting season for Wells, who went five-plus innings in 18 straight starts for the big club from April 3 through July 8. From there, his productivity fell off over three more MLB appearances before he was optioned to Double-A on July 30. This latest transaction suggests Baltimore is giving Wells a chance to be a part of the big-league bullpen down the stretch, so those who have been stashing him in hopes he rejoins the Orioles' rotation may need to look elsewhere.

Houck (face) was activated from the injured list Tuesday ahead of his start against the Astros, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

The right-hander has been out since mid-June after suffering facial fractures on a comebacker, requiring surgery. The 27-year-old has been deemed ready to return after a three-start rehab assignment, with Houck seemingly sealing his activation by tossing 59 pitches across four scoreless frames in his most recent minor-league outing. Chris Murphy was optioned in a corresponding move. Houck has another tough matchup tentatively lined up against the Dodgers this weekend, but he could be a solid streaming option next week in Kansas City, assuming he sticks in the rotation.
