Woo (forearm) played catch Monday, Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM reports.

Woo is less than a week removed from landing on the injured list, and he has already been given the green light to throw, which backs up last week's report that the Mariners aren't overly concerned about his forearm injury. He may throw a bullpen session soon, and barring any setbacks, could rejoin Seattle's rotation as early as next week.

Miller (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment this week with Single-A Stockton, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Miller threw a couple bullpen sessions in recent days, and he was given the green light to resume pitching in games. The A's will undoubtedly take the cautious route with one of their top prospects, so it could still be several weeks before he is cleared to rejoin Oakland's rotation.

Keller (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment Monday with Kansas City's affiliate in the Arizona Complex League.

Keller had a chance to kick off an official rehab assignment last week, and he did not have to wait much longer to begin one. Keller's last rehab assignment was paused midway through, so expect the Royals to try their best to avoid a similar outcome.

Watkins was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas on Monday.

Watkins was assigned to Triple-A Las Vegas after being claimed off waivers by the A's last week, but he is now set to receive his first big-league opportunity with his new club. It's unclear what role he will fill, but he has started 11 Triple-A games this season, so he looks like the leading candidate to replace the injured Freddy Tarnok (undisclosed) in Oakland's rotation.

Crawford did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk over 4.2 innings against the Tigers. He struck out two.

Crawford pitched fairly well for four innings, though he came an out shy of qualifying for a win after he was replaced in the fifth following an Akil Baddoo home run. The 27-year-old Crawford hasn't made it past the fifth inning in any of his last five starts, despite working to a respectable 3.97 ERA in that span. Overall, he's 5-6 with a 3.80 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 89:22 K:BB across 90 innings this season. Crawford's currently lined up for a road matchup with the Yankees in his next start.

Vasquez is scheduled to start Wednesday's game against Atlanta at Truist Park.

In his return to the big leagues this past Friday, Vasquez was deployed in bulk relief behind opener Ian Hamilton and tossed 3.2 innings while striking out two and giving up two earned runs on three hits and one walk en route to claiming a win over the Marlins. Depending on how the first two games of the series in Atlanta shake out, the Yankees could end up deploying Vasquez behind an opener again, but in any case, the right-hander will be making another turn through the rotation. With both Frankie Montas (shoulder) and Domingo German (personal) likely out for the season and with Nestor Cortes (shoulder) recently joining Carlos Rodon (hamstring) on the injured list, Vasquez should have a clear path to an extended stay in the rotation.

Quantrill (shoulder) is scheduled to make his next rehab appearance with Double-A Akron on Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Quantrill will require at least one more tune-up outing in the minors after he was blasted for six earned runs on six hits and two walks over 1.1 innings in his first rehab start at Triple-A Columbus last Wednesday. Despite Quantrill's poor results, Guardians manager Terry Francona said that the organization was encouraged by the right-hander's velocity and other metrics in the start. Depending on how he fares Tuesday, Quantrill could be reinstated from the 15-day injured list as early as this coming Sunday, though a return next week appears more realistic at this juncture.

Cease (5-6) suffered a loss Sunday against the Brewers after allowing two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out seven in seven innings.

Cease notched his highest strikeout total since July 22 and reached seven innings for the first time all year. The Brewers manufactured a run on a sacrifice fly in the second after kicking off the inning with back-to-back singles and then tacked on another in the fifth while the White Sox were blanked until the ninth. Cease registered an elite 39 percent CSW rate in the outing but still managed to come out on the losing end for a third time in his last four tries. He now owns a 4.32 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 157:61 K:BB in 133.1 innings and lines up for a start in Coors Field next weekend.

Dunning allowed just one run on seven hits and no walks while striking out a career-high 12 batters in seven innings Sunday against the Giants. He did not factor into the decision.

Believe it or not, Dunning was actually in line for the loss when his day was done, but the Rangers were able to push the game to extras after scoring in the ninth. The only blemish on the day for him was a solo home run allowed to Michael Conforto in the second. The 28-year-old had set a career-best with 11 strikeouts Aug. 2 against the White Sox and turned in yet another masterpiece Sunday. He now has three 10-plus strikeout games over his last nine starts after having just one in his first 70 career starts. Dunning also became just the eighth pitcher in franchise history to throw at least 12 strikeouts without walking a batter. He now holds a 3.10 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 97:34 K:BB in 127.2 innings and lines up to face the Brewers his next time out.

Urquidy (2-3) suffered the loss Sunday against the Angels but pitched well, allowing one run on three hits and no walks while striking out seven over five innings.

The lone run scored against Urquidy came off an RBI double from Mickey Moniak in the third inning. The Astros were unable to deliver much offensive production Sunday, leaving Urquidy in line for an unlucky loss. The 28-year-old struck out a season-high seven batters and registered 15 whiffs while gearing up to 80 pitches. Astros pitching coach Josh Miller said Urquidy was capped at 90 pitches, so it seems likely he'll be stretched out enough to potentially go six-plus innings in his next start , which is tentatively lined up to be against the Mariners this weekend.
