Boyd was removed from Monday's start against the Rangers due to an undisclosed injury, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Boyd gave up one run on one hit and struck out two over 0.2 innings prior to leaving with the team trainer. The extent of the injury is unclear at this time.

Rodriguez (finger) will make a rehab start Thursday for Triple-A Toledo, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

After everything went well during his live batting practice session Saturday, Rodriguez will now officially move on to beginning a rehab assignment. The 30-year-old lefty has been out for nearly a month, so it's possible the Tigers keep him in the minors for more than one rehab start.

Manning (foot) will return to the Tigers' rotation Tuesday versus the Rangers, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Manning issued eight walks in 8.2 innings on his three-start minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo, but he allowed only one (unearned) run. The 25-year-old has been sidelined since April 11 due to a fracture in his right foot and should probably be viewed as a wait-and-see streamer in most fantasy formats as he makes his way back to Detroit's active roster.

Skubal (elbow) will make his next rehab start for Triple-A Toledo on Wednesday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Wednesday will mark Skubal's fifth minor-league rehab start since beginning his assignment June 4. He's given up three runs (two earned) while striking out 16 batters across 10.2 innings between High-A and Triple-A. If Wednesday's start ends up being Skubal's final appearance in the minors, he would be lined up to return to Detroit's rotation July 4 versus Oakland.

Faedo (finger) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment Tuesday with High-A West Michigan, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Faedo has been on the injured list since late May following a procedure to remove his right middle fingernail, so this seems likely to be a multi-outing rehab stint. He had posted an uneven 5.54 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 26:2 K:BB in 26 innings (five starts) for Detroit prior to the IL stint.

Means (elbow/back) played catch on the field Monday, Danielle Allentuck of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Means had to put a pause on his Tommy John surgery rehab in late May after suffering a muscle strain in his upper back, but he's now throwing again and suggested recently that he would like to be an option for the Orioles sometime in August. The 30-year-old left-hander hasn't pitched in a major-league game since April 2022.

Quantrill (shoulder) allowed three hits and a walk while striking out three over five scoreless innings in his rehab start Sunday with Double-A Akron.

Quantrill threw 58 pitches (38 strikes), so it seems likely he'll need at least one more rehab start to stretch out closer to a starter's workload. The right-hander has been on the injured list since June 2. Once he's ready to rejoin the major-league roster, one of Tanner Bibee, Logan Allen or Gavin Williams would likely be optioned out unless the Guardians opt to go with a six-man rotation to build in extra rest for their rookie pitchers.

Drohan was removed from his most recent start Sunday with Triple-A Worcester ahead of the fifth inning due to a calf cramp, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Drohan struck out a batter and allowed three hits and three walks over four scoreless innings before being lifted from the contest when he felt discomfort in his calf while warming up prior to the fifth inning. Fortunately for Drohan, his injury wasn't deemed to be anything too serious, and Worcester is still proceeding as though he'll be able to make his next turn through the rotation in Buffalo later this week. The southpaw has posted a 5.03 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 33:27 K:BB over 39.1 innings at Worcester since being promoted from Double-A Portland in mid-May.

Lynch allowed one run on six hits and a walk while striking out two over six innings Sunday against the Rays. He did not factor into the decision.

The one run against Lynch came from a solo blast off the bat of Jose Siri in the third. The other five hits Lynch gave up all went for singles. He did register nine whiffs but had under five strikeouts for the fourth consecutive start. He's now allowed three earned runs or less in five of six starts this year and stands at a 3.96 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 24:10 K:BB over 36.1 innings. Lynch will hope to get back in the win column next weekend when the Dodgers come to town.

Brito is listed as the Yankees' scheduled starting pitcher for Tuesday's game in Oakland.

Brito made a successful return to the big leagues following his call-up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre last Wednesday, as he stepped in to keep the Mariners off the scoreboard over 5.2 innings while allowing just three baserunners. He'll get a chance to build on that strong outing in a favorable matchup versus the 20-60 Athletics, the first of what will likely be two starts for the rookie right-hander this week. Brito tentatively lines up to make another start Sunday in St. Louis.
