Rodriguez (lat) will report to High-A Aberdeen on Thursday to begin a rehab assignment, Steve Melewski of MASNSports.com reports.

Rodriguez, who has been on the injured list at Triple-A Norfolk since early June, may require multiple tune-up outings in the lower rungs of the minors before reporting to the Orioles' top affiliate. Due to the extended time he missed while recovering from a right lat strain, Rodriguez may not have enough time to get stretched out for a traditional starter's role, but he'll still have an outside shot at earning a promotion to the majors in September as a reliever while the Orioles remain in contention for a wild-card spot.

Boyd (elbow) generated a pair of one-inning, two-strikeout scoreless efforts for Triple-A Tacoma on Friday and Sunday.

The pair of spotless showings are the latest indication Boyd could serve in a key bullpen role down the stretch for the Mariners. The veteran left-hander has generated scoreless efforts in five of his six rehab appearances, and he's now logged eight innings overall with the Rainiers ahead of what will likely be a Sept. 1 activation.

Severino (lat) is expected to make his first minor-league rehab start Friday, MLB.com reports.

Severino was able to throw a pair of live batting practice sessions last week with no renewed discomfort in his strained right lat, so he should be ready for game action Friday if he makes it through a bullpen session unscathed in the next couple of days. Yankees general manager Brian Cashman has said that he plans on having Severino make about five starts before the postseason, so the right-hander looks like he's on track to return from the 60-day injured list around the time he's first eligible for activation in mid-September.

Glasnow (elbow) faced Triple-A Durham hitters in live batting practice Sunday and is expected to repeat the activity again Wednesday before beginning a rehab assignment, Patrick Kinas of Westwood One reports.

According to Kinas, Glasnow threw approximately 23 pitches in the session, which came two days after he and the Rays reached an agreement on a two-year, $30.35 million contract extension. Glasnow, who is making his way back from the elbow surgery he underwent Aug. 4 of last year, is expected to make his return from the 60-day injured list in September in a relief role.

Cease gave up two earned runs on two hits and one walk while striking out eight over eight innings in a 3-2 loss to the Diamondbacks on Sunday. He did not factor into the decision.

Cease continued his breakout 2022 campaign with an eight-inning quality start on 103 pitches. The only damage came on a pair of solo home runs. It was his longest start of the season and Cease lowered his ERA to 2.27 with the effort. The 26-year-old right-hander now has 16 games of eight or more strikeouts this year. The total is best in the majors. Cease is tentatively expected to make his next start against the Twins.

Kluber yielded three runs on eight hits while striking out four over six innings Sunday. He earned a win against the Red Sox.

Kluber was tagged with three solo home runs in Sunday's win, beginning with Franchy Cordero's 403-foot blast in the third inning. It's the first time the veteran righty has given up multiple home runs in a start since May 10. He's now sporting a 4.21 ERA and a stellar 118:18 K:BB through 134.2 frames. However, despite going 4-2 over his last eight starts, Kluber owns a 5.40 ERA during that span. He's projected to face the Yankees at home next weekend.

Miller (shoulder) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list Thursday and made his return to the High-A Lansing rotation Sunday, striking out four over two innings while allowing one earned run on one hit and no walks.

Miller, the 97th overall selection in the 2021 First-Year Player Draft, made his full-season debut Sunday after a prolonged recovery from a right shoulder strain to begin the current campaign. Before slotting into Lansing's rotation, the 24-year-old right-hander struck out five over two scoreless innings in his lone rehab appearance in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League.

Jobe (back) struck out three and allowed an earned run on four hits and one walk over five innings Saturday in his start with High-A West Michigan.

After receiving a promotion from Single-A Lakeland late last week, Jobe had been scheduled to make his High-A debut Wednesday, only to be pushed off his scheduled start due to back soreness. Jobe needed only a few extra days to move past the issue, and he was able to turn in a productive first outing for West Michigan. The 20-year-old right-hander pumped in 45 of his 67 pitches for strikes on the day.

Bello is scheduled to start Monday's game in Minnesota.

With Nathan Eovaldi (shoulder) still on the injured list and with Josh Winckowski having recently been sent back to Triple-A Worcester, Bello will be making his second straight turn through the rotation. In his return from his own stint on the IL last Wednesday, Bello turned in the best outing of his young career, striking out seven and allowing two earned runs while scattering six hits and a walk over five frames.

Schmidt (5-3) took the loss Sunday versus the Athletics. He allowed four runs on eight hits and a walk with seven strikeouts in 4.1 innings.

Schmidt surrendered a pair of runs in each of the first and third innings, and the Yankees' offense couldn't cover the damage. This was Schmidt's second start of the year and his first June 16. It was also the right-hander's longest major-league outing of the season. Through 37.1 innings with the Yankees, he's posted a 2.89 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 36:19 K:BB in 18 appearances, mainly as a long reliever. He's made all eight of his minor-league appearances this year as a starter, and he may get another turn in the rotation with Nestor Cortes (groin) on the injured list. If that happens, Schmidt is tentatively projected for a road start versus the Rays next weekend.
