Urquidy (10-4) earned the win against Boston on Wednesday, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out 10 and walking none over seven innings.

Urquidy was impressive Wednesday, throwing 70 of 97 pitches for strikes across seven frames and limiting Boston to just three baserunners thanks to a single, a double and a hit batter. Urquidy has put together a streak of nine quality starts dating back to June 14. During that span, the righty has gone 5-1 and lowered his ERA from 4.99 to 3.62.

Hill (4-5) took the loss to the Astros on Wednesday, allowing four runs on six hits while striking out one and walking three over three innings.

Hill threw 40 of 58 pitches for strikes across three frames and allowed four runs thanks to a groundout, a sac fly and a two-run homer. The veteran lefty has not been sharp this year and has especially struggled in his past eight outings with a 5.12 ERA.

Lynn (2-4) earned the win against the Royals on Wednesday, allowing one run on four hits while striking out eight and walking none over six innings.

Lynn pitched well Wednesday, throwing 57 of 89 pitches for strikes across six frames and allowing just four baserunners. He limited the damage to one solo shot and did not allow any free passes. The eight strikeouts tied Lynn's single-game high for this season. The veteran righty has struggled to get things going this year, picking up his third quality start in ten games. Opponents have scored four runs or more in half of his starts this season, so this could potentially be a turning point for him. Lynn will take a 5.87 ERA into his next start.

Singer (4-4) took the loss to the White Sox on Wednesday, allowing four runs on 11 hits while striking out three and walking one.

The 11 hits Singer allowed in Wednesday's game were as many as he had given up in his previous three games combined. The three strikeouts were the fewest he has had in a game since April 26 when he pitched only two innings. The outing was arguably the second worst of Singer's season and comes after a July where the righty had four quality starts and a 2.05 ERA. His season ERA now sits at 3.67.

Kaprielian (3-5) earned the win over the Angels on Wednesday, pitching 5.1 innings and allowing one run on six hits and one walk while striking out four batters.

Kaprielian fired 55 of 83 pitches for strikes and didn't give up a run until the fifth frame. The right-hander picked up his second straight win, and he has given up just one run in each of those outings. Kaprielian has been on a roll since the start of July, posting a 1.89 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 21:11 K:BB over 33.1 innings across six starts.

Bradish allowed one earned run on three hits and three walks while striking out five across five innings Wednesday against the Rangers. He did not factor into the decision.

Bradish got off to a shaky start, allowing three of the first five hitters he faced to reach base. He then walked the bases loaded in the second frame but avoided any additional damage and went on to settle into an effective outing. Since being activated from a month-long stint on the injured list, Bradish has allowed only three earned runs across 10 innings with a 12:3 K:BB in two starts.

Perez allowed one earned run on five hits and three walks while striking out nine and walking three across six innings Wednesday against the Orioles. He did not factor into the decision.

Perez allowed only a solo home run to Ryan McKenna, and otherwise dominated the Orioles lineup by matching his season high with nine strikeouts. Though he's surrendered multiple walks in each of his last four outings, Perez has also allowed only one earned run in each of those appearances. That stretch has lowered his ERA to 2.47 on the season to go along with a 116:38 K:BB across 131 frames.

Ryan (8-4) allowed one earned run on three hits and no walks while striking out nine across five innings to earn the win Wednesday against Detroit.

Ryan dominated the Tigers, racking up 18 swinging strikes on only 78 total pitches. It was a needed bouneback effort for Ryan, as he allowed 10 earned runs his last turn through the rotation. Setting aside that disaster, Ryan has allowed two or fewer earned runs in his five remaining starts since July 1. He now owns a 3.67 ERA with an 89:25 K:BB across 90.2 innings on the campaign.

Bieber (6-6) allowed two earned runs on four hits and no walks while striking out eight across six innings to earn the win Wednesday against the Diamondbacks.

Bieber worked five shutout innings prior to surrendering a two-run homer to Alek Thomas. It was still a successful outing for Bieber otherwise, as he stayed out of trouble by inducing seven groundball outs to supplement his eight punchouts. Though he surrendered six earned runs July 24, Bieber has allowed only one earned run in three of his last four outings after Wednesday's performance. He now owns a 3.39 ERA with a 126:28 K:BB across 124.2 innings for the campaign.

Cole (9-4) took the loss Wednesday as the Yankees were downed 7-3 by the Mariners, coughing up six runs on seven hits -- including three home runs -- and a walk over six innings. He struck out eight.

All six runs scored in the first inning as Eugenio Suarez, Carlos Santana and Jarred Kelenic took Cole deep, but the right-hander was at least able to save the bullpen by settling down and working another five frames. Cole exited after 103 pitches (69 strikes), and he'll take a 3.56 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 170:33 K:BB through 131.1 innings into his next outing.
