Greinke (2-0) earned the win in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the A's despite battling a stiff neck throughout the day, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports. He allowed three runs on six hits with six strikeouts and zero walks over five innings.

Houston had a backup option warming up before first pitch just in case, but Greinke was able to loosen up his neck while going through warmups. He still delivered 96 pitches, so he didn't appear to be on any workload restrictions. Greinke has a 2.68 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 35:6 K:BB through 40.1 innings, and it appears he'll be okay for his next turn through the rotation, though it's worth keeping an eye on his status over the next few days.

Walker (3-2) allowed four hits and three walks while striking out four across six scoreless innings to earn the win Saturday against the Orioles.

Walker worked effectively in his Blue Jays debut. He got into trouble on a few occasions -- particularly due to struggles with his control -- but induced timely outs to work six scoreless frames. It's been a mixed bag to this point in the season for Walker, as he's tossed three scoreless outings but has also twice allowed four or more earned runs. That's evened out to a 3.27 ERA with a 29:7 K:BB across 33 frames. He's currently projected to draw his second start with Toronto on Thursday at Boston.

Carrasco struck out six and gave up just two hits and two walks over six scoreless innings during Saturday's 12-inning win over the Cardinals.

The veteran right-hander gave up 10 runs over 12 innings across his previous three starts, but he rebounded by shutting down the Cardinals on Saturday. Carrasco missed out on the victory, as the two offenses combined for only nine hits despite playing three extra frames. He has a 3.75 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 45:17 K:BB through 36 innings, and he lines up to take the mound next weekend versus the Brewers.

Dunning will be recalled from the alternate training site to start Sunday against the Royals, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

The 25-year-old made his big-league debut Aug. 19 and allowed three runs on five hits with seven strikeouts and one walk over 4.1 innings, and he'll return to start in Sunday's series finale. Dunning threw 73 pitches in his first start and is expected to have a similar workload his second time out. It's unclear if he'll receive a longer look in the rotation this time around or if it will just be a spot start.

Skubal (1-1) allowed two runs over five innings to earn the win in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Twins. He gave up three hits and no walks while striking out two.

Skubal earned his first MLB win in his third start, and it was easily the young lefty's best performance to date. He had allowed five runs on 10 hits across 4.1 innings coming into Saturday's contest, but he was able to cut down on the number of baserunners he allowed, and he did so against a strong Minnesota lineup. Skubal now has a 6.75 ERA and is scheduled to make his next start Friday against the Twins again.

The Red Sox announced Saturday that they put Eovaldi (calf) on the 10-day injured list with a "very mild strain" and have activated Chris Mazza to start Sunday's game, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

It was originally presumed that Eovaldi was dealing with some cramping in his right calf but it appears as though the injury is slightly more severe. He will go on the 10-day injured list retroactive to Aug. 26, meaning he can be activated as soon as Sept. 5. Manager Ron Roenicke does expect Eovaldi to return in a week's time and start upon being activated, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

Rodon (shoulder) is scheduled to throw either three innings or 60 pitches Sunday in a simulated game, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Rodon has been on the injured list since Aug. 4 with right shoulder soreness and has been ramping up his throwing regimen over the last few weeks. Assuming all goes well in his outing Sunday, Rodon could be activated and rejoin the starting rotation sometime next week.

Maeda's scheduled start was pushed back to Sunday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Maeda won't take the mound during Saturday's twin bill as the team will likely utilize its bullpen during the second game. Pushing Maeda's start back by a day allows Rich Hill to get an extra day of rest, as he should start Monday. Maeda is 4-0 with a 2.21 ERA and 40:7 K:BB over 36.2 innings this season.

Ryu allowed two runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out seven over six innings in Saturday's win against the Orioles. He didn't factor into the decision.

Ryu allowed a fair amount of baserunners Friday, but he was able to keep the Orioles' run production relatively low as he allowed just two runs in the sixth inning. However, he had to settle for a no-decision in Toronto's win in extra innings. Ryu has now posted a 3.16 ERA over 37 innings in his first seven starts of 2020. The southpaw's next turn through the rotation should come on the road Wednesday against the Marlins.

Heaney (2-2) earned the win Friday against the Mariners. He tossed 7.2 innings of one-run ball, allowing four hits and two walks while fanning 10.

Heaney was absolutely filthy Friday, tossing 71 of his 104 pitches for strikes while registering a season-high mark for strikeouts. Heaney was coming off three straight starts allowing four or more runs, so this should be a big confidence booster for the veteran. His next scheduled start will come Sep. 2 at home in a tough matchup against the Padres.
