Baum is included in the 60-man player pool that will report to the Athletics' summer camp, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

The 2019 second-round pick posted a 4.70 ERA and 34:7 K:BB over 30.2 innings at Low-A Vermont last season. Baum is not a realistic candidate for the Opening Day roster, but he's projected to enjoy the benefits of continued professional development as part of a pool of up to 30 players that will train at an alternate location throughout the regular season.

Ramirez will be part of the Angels' 60-man roster.

Ramirez, who is not on the 40-man roster, was signed by the Angels to a minor-league deal in December. He appeared 22 times with Cleveland and Toronto last season, posting a combined 5.40 ERA and 1.64 WHIP in 25 innings. He is on the roster simply to provide depth and is unlikely to offer any fantasy value in 2020.

Indians president of baseball operations Chris Antonetti said Monday that Carrasco (elbow) will be ready to go when the Indians resume training this week, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.

Carrasco's status for Opening Day was looking iffy after he required an injection in his sore right elbow back in mid-March, but he was apparently able to take advantage of MLB's nearly four-month shutdown to make a full recovery. The Indians could choose to ease Carrasco along more carefully than their other starting pitchers in workouts once camp begins, but the right-hander should remain roughly on pace with the rest of his rotation mates by the time the Indians begin their 60-game season in late July.

The White Sox announced Monday that Dunning (elbow) will be included as part of the team's 60-man roster pool.

Dunning is believed to be nearing the finish line in his recovery from his March 2019 Tommy John surgery, and though he may not be deemed ready to go when the season opens in late July, his inclusion in the player pool suggests he should be able to pitch at some point in 2020. However, since Dunning is coming off a major injury and has yet to pitch above the Double-A level, he's unlikely to log many meaningful innings for the big club during the 60-game season.

The White Sox announced Monday that Kopech (elbow) will be included as part of the team's 60-man roster pool.

Chicago has yet to decide on Kopech's role entering the restarted season after sitting out all of 2019 while recovering from Tommy John surgery, but his inclusion in the roster pool at least officially makes him an option for the Pale Hose. Though Kopech was initially expected to be sidelined until late May or early June while recovering from surgery, he may be close to 100 percent health in the wake of baseball's four-month hiatus. The extended break should also allow Carlos Rodon (elbow) to be nearly ready to go when the season begins, which could provide the White Sox with more reason to exercise caution with Kopech's usage coming off injury. If that's the case, Kopech may make the most sense for the White Sox as a multi-inning reliever or opening pitcher rather than a traditional starter.

Williamson will be part of the Mariners' 60-man training roster.

Williamson is one of the top sleepers in Seattle's farm system. The 6-foot-6 southpaw would have likely been assigned to High-A in a normal season, and while he has a chance to be a No. 2 or No. 3 starter long term, the Mariners probably won't rush his development to the point that he would pitch in MLB games this season. He had a 2.35 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 25:5 K:BB in 15.1 innings with short-season Everett last season after getting drafted out of TCU with the No. 59 overall pick.

Lynch will be a part of the Royals' 60-man player pool this season, Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes reports.

Prior to the Royals drafting Asa Lacy, Lynch was the best pitching prospect in a system loaded with quality young starting pitchers. He is a big lefty with a plus fastball and a plus slider who is coming off an impressive run in the Arizona Fall League. That said, Lynch was likely going to spend most of the season in the upper levels of the minors under normal circumstances, so it's unclear if the Royals will find work for him in the majors this season.

Sale (elbow) was placed on the 60-day injured list Sunday.

He will miss the entire season and some of the 2021 campaign after undergoing Tommy John surgery in late March. This move opens up a spot on the 40-man roster.

Bubic will be a part of the Royals' 60-man player pool this season, Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes reports.

Bubic is one of a handful of talented starting pitching prospects who will be a part of the 60-man pool. The 6-foot-3 lefty led the minors in strikeouts last season, leaning heavily on his strong command and plus changeup to accomplish that feat. Unless the rest of his offerings improve, he is likely to end up as a solid No. 4 starter. He may see some time in the majors this season but should not be expected to have success right away.

McKenzie will be a part of the Indians' 60-man player pool this season.

While McKenzie is on the 40-man roster, he missed all of 2019 and part of 2018 while recovering from forearm and back strains, so his inclusion is more for developmental purposes than to bolster the big-league squad. McKenzie will train at an alternate site with other prospects while the big leaguers train at Progressive Field.
