Perez (10-6) got the win against the Red Sox on Thursday, giving up one earned run on two hits over six innings, striking out one and walking two as the Twins bagged a 2-1 victory.

Perez was blown up for seven earned over 2.2 innings in his last outing against the Tigers, but he bounced back with a quality start in this contest that allowed him to nab his 10th win of the season. It's still been an erratic campaign overall for the 28-year-old, as he's got a 4.75 ERA and 1.46 WHIP across 147.2 innings. He lines up to take on the Nationals in his next start in a Wednesday home matchup.

Eovaldi didn't factor into the decision against the Twins on Thursday, giving up one earned run on one hit over five innings, striking out three and walking four as the Red Sox eventually fell 2-1.

Eovaldi did well to hold a powerful Twins lineup to just one run, but it wasn't enough to get him his second win of the season as he only received a single run of support from his offense. It's been a disappointing, injury-shortened campaign for the 29-year-old as he's sporting a 5.77 ERA and 1.51 WHIP across 48.1 innings, but he's been pitching better over his last two starts with just two earned runs and 11 strikeouts to his name over his last nine innings.

Allard (4-0) picked up the win against the Orioles on Thursday, giving up one earned run on eight hits over 6.1 innings, striking out two and walking two as the Rangers prevailed 3-1.

Locked in a pitcher's duel with John Means, Allard got the better of it as he managed to hold the Orioles to the single run despite having to work his way around 10 baserunners. The 22-year-old lowered his ERA to 3.78 with the effort, to go along with a 1.38 WHIP and 29:11 K:BB across 33.1 big-league innings on the season.

Means (10-10) took the loss against the Rangers on Thursday, giving up two earned runs on four hits over 6.2 innings, striking out four and walking none as the Orioles fell 3-1.

Means put up a solid line, but he found himself unlucky to get hit with his 10th loss of the season as he only received one run of support. The 26-year-old has been a bright spot for the lowly Orioles, as he's sporting a solid 3.50 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 103:32 K:BB across 131 innings on the season. He'll have a tough matchup in his next start, as he's scheduled to take on the Dodgers at home on Wednesday.

Suarez allowed two earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two across 5.1 innings Thursday against the Athletics. He did not factor into the decision.

Suarez followed Luke Bard into the game, beginning his outing in the second inning. The major blow against him came in his final frame when he surrendered a two-run homer to Josh Phegley. It was one the few positive outings Suarez has had in his rookie campaign, as he currently owns a 6.45 ERA and 1.62 WHIP across 68.1 innings. He'll look to build on this performance in his next outing, currently scheduled for Tuesday against Cleveland.

Boyd (8-10) picked up the win against the Royals on Thursday, allowing three runs on 10 hits across 6.1 innings. He struck out six and did not issue any walks.

Boyd was plenty hittable, but he limited the damage by walking no one for the seventh time this season. The lefty also won his second straight decision after going 0-4 in his nine previous starts dating back to July 4. Boyd will take a 4.57 ERA and his two-game winning streak into a start next Wednesday against the powerful Yankees.

Chirinos (finger) completed a 20-pitch bullpen session Thursday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

While this is a step in the right direction for Chirinos, the right-hander remains without a timetable for his return as he continues to work his way back from a right middle finger injury, which has kept him sidelined since the beginning of August.

Snell (elbow) will make a rehab start Saturday for Triple-A Durham, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The Bulls are in the midst of the International League semifinals against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, so there is no guarantee he will have the opportunity to make a second rehab start. General manager Erik Neander said earlier Thursday that Snell is on track to return in time to make a few appearances in September. He will throw 20 pitches or one inning, per Josh Tolentino of The Athletic. If Saturday's rehab outing goes well, it's possible that Snell could make his next appearance for the Rays.

Bassitt won't make his next start until Saturday against the Tigers after he left the team Wednesday following the birth of his daughter, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Bassitt had initially been lined up to start Thursday's series finale with the Angels, but he'll instead take a few days off to celebrate the arrival of his first child. The Athletics have plenty of pitching depth on hand with the expanded September roster, so Bassitt won't be formally placed on the paternity list. Brett Anderson will instead be moved up in the pitching schedule to take the hill Thursday on five days' rest.

Glasnow (forearm) will throw another bullpen session Thursday, Josh Tolentino of The Athletic reports.

General manager Erik Neander said the team will make a decision regarding Glasnow's next step after seeing how he looks during Thursday's session. He worked up to 33 pitches in a rehab appearance Tuesday with Triple-A Durham, and if Glasnow looks good during Thursday's bullpen session, he could be activated from the injured list. It is unclear what role Glasnow will occupy upon his activation, but he could be used as a primary pitcher following an opener.
