Cole (10-5) earned the win Wednesday after recording 11 strikeouts and limiting the Angels to one run on seven hits and a walk over seven innings.

Cole delivered yet another dominant performance, this time blanking the Angels until the fifth inning, when he allowed a solo home run to Dustin Garneau. Otherwise, the 28-year-old scattered six singles while whiffing 11 batters. Cole is now 6-0 in his last 10 starts and owns a 3.12 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 194:33 K:BB on the season. The right-hander will look to extend his winning streak during a showdown Monday with Oakland.

Kluber (forearm) is scheduled to throw his second bullpen session Sunday, Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Kluber completed a 20-pitch bullpen session Wednesday with no issues, which was his first such session since landing on the injured list in early May with a non-displaced fracture in his right forearm. The 33-year-old will also play long toss over the next couple days as he begins to ramp up his throwing program. Kluber remains without an official timetable for his return, but he's working to rejoin the Indians this season.

Rodriguez (11-4) picked up the win Wednesday, giving up two runs on three hits and three walks over 6.1 innings while striking out four in a 5-4 victory over the Blue Jays.

The southpaw has now won three straight starts and five straight decisions, with his last loss coming June 9. Rodriguez will take a 4.34 ERA and 120:37 K:BB through 116 innings into his next outing Monday, on the road against the Rays -- the last team to hand him a defeat.

Milone (1-4) allowed five earned runs on five hits and three walks while striking out two across 4.1 innings to take the loss Wednesday against the Athletics.

Milone served up three home runs after entering the game in the third inning, working as the primary pitcher. His difficulty keeping the ball in the yard is nothing new, as he's now allowed 1.8 HR/9 and has managed to hold the opposition without a long ball in just four of his 11 appearances for the season. Milone will likely work as the primary pitcher again in his next outing, set for Tuesday against Texas.

Clevinger (3-2) struck out 12 while allowing one run on six hits and one walk through six innings to take the win over the Tigers on Wednesday.

Clevinger racked up 23 swinging strikes and tied a career high with 12 strikeouts in the dominant effort. The right-hander gets more swinging strikes on his fastball than any other MLB pitcher, but he was able to generate 16 whiffs on his breaking pitches, including 14 on the slider. The 28-year-old has a 3-2 record with a 3.57 ERA and a 14.8 K/9 through seven starts this season. Clevinger will make his next start Monday against the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre.

Turnbull (3-9) gave up three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out three through six innings to take the loss against the Indians on Wednesday.

Turnbull gave up two runs in the third inning but limited the damage until he gave up a leadoff double in the seventh inning that ended his outing. This was a welcome sight for Turnbull, considering he hadn't delivered a quality start since June 11. The 26-year-old has a 3.65 ERA with an 8 K/9 and a 3.5 BB/9 through 19 starts this season. Turnbull will make his next start Tuesday against the Phillies at Comerica Park.

Morton is scheduled to start Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader against the Yankees, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

The Rays will stay on schedule with their pitching plans following Wednesday's postponement, giving Yonny Chirinos the ball for Game 1 while Morton starts Game 2. Across eight starts since the beginning of June, Morton owns an impressive 2.10 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 65:10 K:BB in 51.1 innings.

German's scheduled start against the Rays on Wednesday was postponed due to inclement weather.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Thursday, with German starting Game 1, per Bryan Hoch of MLB.com. Since returning from the injured list at the beginning of July, German is 2-0 with a 0.75 ERA, 0.67 WHIP and 13:0 K:BB in 12 innings (two starts).

Chirinos' scheduled start against the Yankees on Wednesday has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Thursday, with Chirinos slated to start Game 1 and Charlie Morton set to start Game 2, according to Juan Toribio of MLB.com. Over his past two appearances, Chirinos has compiled a 3.21 ERA, 0.71 WHIP and 13:1 K:BB in 14 innings.

Perez allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits with one walk and four strikeouts across six innings during a no-decision against the Mets on Wednesday.

Six unearned runs late let this contest get out of hand, but Perez pitched well and kept the Twins in the game, which is good to see. Perez came into the afternoon having allowed at least four runs in four of his last five outings, but he is an impressive 8-3 with a 4.10 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 89 strikeouts in 101 innings this season. Perez will start again Monday at home against the Yankees.
