Warren did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's 11-9 loss to the Blue Jays, allowing eight runs on 10 hits and four walks with four strikeouts over four innings.

Warren gave up seven runs in the first inning and generated just seven whiffs while throwing 57 of 99 pitches for strikes. It matched a career high in runs allowed for the 26-year-old and came on the heels of a strong June, during which he allowed just nine earned runs over five starts. He'll carry a 5.02 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 107:39 K:BB across 84.1 innings into a home matchup with the Mariners next week.

Flaherty did not factor into the decision in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Nationals. He allowed three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out nine over five innings.

Flaherty allowed two runs in the first inning but mostly settled in from there, generating 16 whiffs on 97 pitches and notching nine strikeouts for the fourth time this season. While he ultimately departed with a 3-1 deficit, the 29-year-old didn't allow a home run for the first time in four starts and has now yielded three earned runs in back-to-back outings after surrendering 15 across his previous two. He'll carry a 4.84 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 109:37 K:BB over 89.1 innings into a home matchup with the Rays next week.

Pepiot (6-6) came away with the win against the Athletics on Wednesday, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out nine across six innings.

Pepiot put the Rays in a quick 2-0 deficit after yielding solo home runs to Brent Rooker and Max Schuemann in the first and second innings, respectively. Those were the only two runs Pepiot gave up, however, and he finished his outing strong by striking out five of the last six batters he faced. It was a nice bounce-back effort for the 27-year-old right-hander, who recorded just five outs while giving up four runs in his previous start against the Orioles on June 27. Pepiot is in line to face off against the Tigers on the road next week.

Gray (wrist) tossed a bullpen session Wednesday and is close to being cleared to embark on a rehab assignment, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Gray fractured his right wrist during spring training, which caused him to start the season on the 60-day injured list. He was cleared to throw off a mound in mid-June, and the 33-year-old right-hander appears to be ready to start a minor-league rehab assignment. Gray will aim for a return in late July after the All-Star break.

The Twins placed Ober on the 15-day injured list Wednesday with a left hip impingement, Phil Miller of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

It's unclear how long Ober's hip has been bothering him, but the big right-hander has been tagged for seven runs in each of his last two starts and in three of his past four outings to push his ERA on the season up to 5.28. He will be eligible for activation at the start of the second half, but it's uncertain when Ober might be ready to rejoin the Minnesota rotation.

Fitts struck out one and allowed one earned run on two hits and no walks in three innings in his start Tuesday against the Reds before the game was suspended in the top of the fourth inning due to inclement weather.

The two teams will resume the suspended game Wednesday before playing the series finale immediately after. The Red Sox were up 2-1 prior to the game being suspended, but because he didn't cover five innings and won't be asked to pitch again a day later, Fitts won't be in line for the win if Boston is able to maintain the lead for the rest of the contest. Assuming the Red Sox have Tanner Houck (elbow) make at least one more rehab start before activating him from the injured list, Fitts should be in line for at least one more turn through the rotation. Fitts' next start will likely come next Monday or Tuesday versus the Rockies at Fenway Park.

The Mariners optioned Hancock to Triple-A Tacoma on Wednesday.

Hancock will be sent back to the minors one day after allowing five runs over six innings in a loss to the Royals to push his ERA on the season to 5.47. The right-hander had been lined up to start Sunday against the Pirates, so the Mariners will need to find a replacement in the rotation for this weekend.

Bello is scheduled to take the hill Wednesday when the Red Sox and Reds resume their game from Tuesday that was suspended in the top of the fourth inning, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

Bello had been lined up to start the regularly scheduled game at 7:10 p.m. ET, but he'll instead pitch in the suspended game in what will mark his first appearance as a reliever since 2022. Because the game will resume in the fourth inning, Bello's workload will likely be more suppressed compared to a typical start, but he'll have an inside track at scooping up a win since he'll be taking the hill with the Red Sox holding a 2-1 lead. Bello has picked up just one win over his last 11 starts.

Tigers manager A.J. Hinch said that Olson's (finger) next start will be in the majors, and the right-hander could be activated from the 15-day injured list to pitch Friday in Cleveland, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Olson has been shelved since mid-May due to right ring finger inflammation but is ready to rejoin the Tigers rotation after making three rehab starts. He went four innings and threw 74 pitches in his most recent outing for Triple-A Toledo last Wednesday, so Olson will have a somewhat limited pitch count this weekend. The righty has been superb in nine starts for Detroit this season, collecting a 2.96 ERA and 51:19 K:BB over 48.2 innings.

Burke will pitch in bulk relief behind opening pitcher Brandon Eisert in Wednesday's game against the Dodgers, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

The Dodgers typically have two left-handed hitters (Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman) in the top four spots in the order, so the White Sox will likely have the left-handed Eisert work the opening frame or two before turning the game over to the right-handed Burke. The 25-year-old has previously worked as a bulk reliever April 25 against the Athletics and May 30 against the Orioles, covering 11.1 innings between those appearances while striking out 11 and yielding six runs (five earned) on 10 hits and three walks.
