Charlie Morton SP | ATL
Astros' Charlie Morton: Fans 13 in scoreless outing
Morton (10-1) struck out 13 in seven scoreless innings Tuesday against the Blue Jays, allowing four hits and two walks en route to a win.
Morton allowed no extra-base hits and threw 67 of 98 pitches for strikes in his dominant outing against Toronto. This was the fifth game this season that Morton has recorded double-digit strikeouts, and he now sports a 122:39 K:BB in 95.2 innings. Morton has a .195 batting average against, making him one of only seven pitchers in the majors holding opponents under a .200 average. His next start will be against the Rays in Tampa Bay.

Kevin Gausman SP | CHC
Orioles' Kevin Gausman: Takes another no-decision
Gausman tossed six innings during Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Mariners, allowing one run on five hits and one walk. He struck out four and did not factor in the decision.
The only damage against Gausman came courtesy of a Kyle Seager solo home run during the fourth inning. The Orioles' anemic offense has scored only seven runs in the 27-year-old's last four starts, in which he is 0-1 with a 3.11 ERA and 1.33 WHIP over 23.1 innings. Gausman lines up to take the mound against the Angels on Sunday.

Frankie Montas RP | NYM
Athletics' Frankie Montas: Disappoints in Tuesday's start
Montas allowed six runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out one over three innings in Tuesday's win over the Tigers. He did not factor into the decision.
Montas -- who held a 2.60 ERA over his first four starts in June -- was far from sharp Tuesday as he failed to take advantage of an exploitable Tigers lineup. The young righty ran into trouble early, allowing four runs in the first inning on four hits and a walk. Two more runs came across in the third on a Dixon Machado triple before Montas was given the hook after throwing 74 pitches in three laborious innings. He'll face a tough test in his next start against the Indians on Sunday.

James Paxton SP | BOS
Mariners' James Paxton: Fans 10 in win over Baltimore
Paxton (7-2) picked up the win against the Orioles on Tuesday, striking out 10 and allowing two runs on six hits over seven innings. He issued one walk.
Paxton was actually lined up for the loss when he exited the game, but thankfully the Mariners offense rallied for two runs in the top of the eighth inning. The 29-year-old has a 3.65 ERA and 1.11 WHIP with an impressive 134:30 K:BB across 103.2 innings, and is slated for an appetizing matchup against the Royals on Sunday.

Luis Severino SP | ATH
Yankees' Luis Severino: Superb in Tuesday's win
Severino (12-2) blanked the Phillies over seven innings Tuesday and was credited with the win. He allowed six hits and struck out nine.
Severino was back to his dominant ways Tuesday following his somewhat shaky start (3 earned runs in 5.2 innings) against the Mariners his last time out. The righty threw 72 of his 103 pitches for strikes and was still pushing 100 mph with his fastball in his final inning of work. He's earned a winning decision in five of his last six starts and currently owns a dazzling 2.10 ERA. He'll take the mound against the Red Sox on Sunday.

Nathan Eovaldi SP | TEX
Rays' Nathan Eovaldi: Allows one hit over six innings
Eovaldi (2-3) earned the win against the Nationals on Tuesday, recording nine strikeouts and allowing one hit and two walks across six scoreless innings.
Eovaldi picked up his first win since his first start of the season with six no-hit innings May 30, and took a no hitter into the sixth inning Tuesday, as well. The 28-year-old has a 4.08 ERA and 0.82 WHIP with a 30:5 K:BB over 35.1 innings, and is lined up for a quality matchup in Miami next Monday.

Chris Bassitt SP | BAL
Athletics' Chris Bassitt: Set to start Wednesday
Bassitt will be called up to start Wednesday against the Tigers, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
The Athletics' rotation has been hammered by injuries, with Daniel Mengden (foot) the latest victim. Bassitt has a 3.86 ERA in three starts for Oakland this year. He'll square off against the Tigers' Mike Fiers.

Dylan Bundy SP | NYM
Orioles' Dylan Bundy: Placed on disabled list
Bundy (ankle) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
Bundy was still expected to make his upcoming start as recently as Monday, but he must not have shown the desired improvement with his sprained left ankle. The Orioles thus decided to open up his spot on the roster and replace him with reliever Donnie Hart. Bundy will be eligible to return from the DL on July 4 in Philadelphia, but manager Buck Showalter is targeting a June 6 activation so Bundy can avoid having to hit in his first game back.

Blake Snell SP | LAD
Rays' Blake Snell: Strikes out 10 in dominant win
Snell (10-4) tossed seven scoreless innings to earn the win Monday against the Nationals, striking out 10 while allowing one hit and four walks.
Snell was extremely effective against one of the toughest lineups in baseball, inducing a whopping 23 swinging strikes while recording seven groundball outs in this gem of an outing. He actually walked the first two batters he faced, but he buckled down and coasted the rest of the way off a large early lead. Though Snell has been outstanding of late, he's now walked 15 batters across 19 innings over his last three starts and will need to curtail the free passes to sustain this type of success. He'll look to do just that as he face a tough Astros lineup this weekend.

Eduardo Rodriguez SP | ARI
Red Sox's Eduardo Rodriguez: Overthinks rematch
Rodriguez altered his game plan in Saturday's loss to the Mariners, a team he was facing for the second time in six days, Bill Koch of the Providence Journal reports.
Rodriguez, who struck out nine Mariners in a start June 17, was conflicted about how he should attack the same team just six days later. Instead of pitching away to Mitch Haniger, who entered Saturday's game 0-for-6 against the left-hander, Rodriguez opted to come inside and was rocked for a pair of doubles and three RBI in a 7-2 loss. "I think he tried to make an adjustment because he felt, 'I went away, away, away. He's going to make an adjustment,'" Cora said. "Well, let him make the adjustment. See what happens. And then you go from there." Rodriguez was spotted in Cora's office before leaving Fenway Park late Saturday. The two watched video of the start with the manager imploring the pitcher to work from his strengths.
