Jake Odorizzi SP | TB
Rays' Jake Odorizzi: Fans six in no-decision Friday
Odorizzi allowed only two runs on five hits and three walks while fanning six over six innings against Minnesota on Friday. He didn't factor in the decision.
The quality start was enough to put the Rays in a position to pick up the win Friday night. The 26-year-old righty has allowed two or fewer runs in seven of his past eight outings, and he's lowered his ERA to 3.33 along the way. His next start will come against Arizona on the road Wednesday.

Rich Hill SP | KC
Athletics' Rich Hill: Not ruled out for Sunday start
A's manager Bob Melvin said Hill (groin) could start Sunday if he feels better Saturday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
For now, the A's haven't revealed a replacement for Hill if he's unable to go Sunday, but Kendall Graveman will slide into Hill's previously scheduled spot Saturday against Houston.

Sonny Gray SP | BOS
Athletics' Sonny Gray: Unlikely to be recalled to start Sunday
Gray (back) is unlikely to be activated to start for the A's on Sunday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
With Rich Hill (groin) getting skipped for his scheduled start Saturday and Kendall Graveman set to take his place, the A's have an opening in their rotation for Sunday. Although Gray is nearing a return from his back injury, he is scheduled to start at High-A Stockton on Sunday and there is no indication at this time that the Athletics will alter that plan. If Gray winds up starting at Stockton on Sunday, he could be in line to join the A's next weekend.

Rich Hill SP | KC
Athletics' Rich Hill: Won't make scheduled start Saturday
Hill (groin) will not start Saturday's game against the Astros, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
Hill experienced some soreness while throwing off flat ground Friday and ultimately his session was cut short, which led to questions about his availability for Saturday. The A's have since opted to take the cautious route with their ace, pushing him back and penciling Kendall Graveman in as the starter Saturday. Oakland has yet to announce its starter for Sunday, so there's a chance that Hill's next scheduled start will only be pushed back by one day.

Kyle Gibson SP | BAL
Twins' Kyle Gibson: Will make rehab start Sunday
Gibson (shoulder) will make a rehab start with Triple-A Rochester on Sunday, MLB.com's Kyle Gibson reports.
He will indeed head out on a rehab assignment after getting scratched from his scheduled start Thursday, but it should be a relatively short stay with Rochester. Gibson could come off the DL in mid June.

Rich Hill SP | KC
Athletics' Rich Hill: Not guaranteed to return Saturday
Hill said he's still working through the effects of his groin injury and is not a 100 percent lock to start Saturday's game against the Astros, the San Francisco Chronicle's John Shea reports.
It still sounds like Hill is a good bet to take the ball Saturday, but his comments Friday certainly put a whiff of doubt in the air. Make sure to check on his status Saturday before deploying him in daily leagues. The Astros have been heating up at the plate, but Hill is still a relative must-start in full-season formats.

Kyle Gibson SP | BAL
Twins' Kyle Gibson: May need another rehab outing
Gibson (shoulder/back) is likely to make another rehab start at Triple-A Rochester before returning from the DL, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Gibson was set to return from a shoulder injury and be activated from the 15-day DL on Thursday, but he couldn't make the start due to a stiff back. The Twins are worried the back issue may lead him to put more pressure on his injured shoulder. Gibson threw 40 pitches in a bullpen session Thursday instead of making the start. He may now not return from the DL until mid June.

Wade Miley SP | CIN
Mariners' Wade Miley: Allows season-high nine runs Thursday
Miley gave up nine runs on 12 hits and two walks while striking out two over 4.2 innings against the Padres on Thursday. He did not factor in the decision.
The Mariners rallied from down 12-2 to take Miley off the hook and win 16-13, but that doesn't change the fact that Miley was awful in this one. He has just three quality starts in 11 turns this season, and his ERA and WHIP now sit at 5.85 and 1.44, respectively. The lefty has given up 18 runs in his last three starts (14.2 innings), and at this point, it's hard to justify having him active in any league.

Matthew Boyd SP | CHC
Tigers' Matt Boyd: Allows four runs in loss Thursday
Boyd tossed 6.1 innings during Thursday's loss against Yankees, and allowed four runs on six hits and a walk while fanning three.
Boyd got off to a good start in this game retiring the first 15 batters he faced, but he couldn't escape the seventh inning in which he allowed four runs. The 25-year-old lefty threw his longest outing of the season, but he also conceded a season-high mark in runs. The Tigers haven't announced if Boyd will remain in the rotation, and the spot for Tuesday against the Blue Jays currently lists a TBD.

Carlos Carrasco RP | ATL
Indians' Carlos Carrasco: Allows three runs in no-decision
Carrasco went five innings Thursday against the Royals, in which he allowed three runs on nine hits and a walk while fanning two. He only threw 78 pitches.
Carrasco's first start off the disabled list came with a short leash, as he didn't top the 80-pitch mark, and it also saw him allow a season-high total on hits with nine. Carrasco, however, limited the damage to only three runs, and even though his ERA rose to a very respectable 3.00 mark, he looked very good considering he hadn't pitched since April 24. He will look to do a better job in his next start against Seattle on the road Tuesday.
