Kyle Gibson SP | BAL
Twins' Kyle Gibson: Resumes light throwing
Gibson (shoulder) has started light throwing, LaVelle Neal III of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
It's unclear if the Twins are planning on a rehab assignment for Gibson once he's healthy enough to progress to game situations again, but it appears as though he'll miss more than the 15-day minimum with his current ailment.

Lance McCullers SP | MIL
Astros' Lance McCullers: Schedule for rehab start Saturday
McCullers (shoulder) will make a rehab start Saturday at Triple-A Fresno, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
He threw 62 pitches at the Astros' spring training complex Monday, which should enable him to approach 75-to-80 pitches in Saturday's rehab start. The team's plans for McCullers beyond Saturday are unclear at this time, but he may only need one additional turn in the minors before he's ready to be activated from the disabled list.

Yu Darvish SP | SD
Rangers' Yu Darvish: Set to make next rehab start Friday
Darvish will make his next rehab start Friday at Triple-A Round Rock and is expected to throw either three innings or 45 pitches.
Darvish is staying on schedule with his rehab process and making steady progress toward returning to the Rangers. He's still a couple of rehab appearances away from rejoining the Texas rotation, but it's great to see he's back to game situations without any issues.

Rich Hill SP | KC
Athletics' Rich Hill: Takes loss despite quality start Sunday
Hill (3-3) took the loss Sunday, allowing two runs on two hits and four walks over six innings while striking out four as the A's fell 2-1 to the Astros.
It's the third time in his last four starts that Hill has walked at least three batters, a troubling sign, but he still sports a 2.53 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 41:13 K:BB in 32 innings and six starts on the year. He'll next take the mound Saturday in a tough road matchup against the slugging Orioles.

Cole Hamels SP | SD
Rangers' Cole Hamels: Chased early in return from groin injury Sunday
Hamels (3-0) lasted just five innings in his return from a groin injury Sunday, allowing four runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out four, but was able to escape with a no-decision in a 9-6 loss to the Angels.
It was his shortest outing since being acquired by the Rangers at the end of July last season. Hamels still sports a 3.30 ERA, but control issues have left him with a 1.40 WHIP and 27:15 K:BB in 30 innings, and he's walked multiple batters in each of his five starts this year. He'll try to sharpen his command in his next start Friday in Detroit.

Vance Worley SP | NYM
Orioles' Vance Worley: Scoreless relief effort Sunday
Worley threw 3.1 shutout innings while relieving Ubaldo Jimenez Sunday, allowing four hits with five strikeouts and one walk.
Worley has not been scored upon un any of his four appearances out of the bullpen spanning seven innings. Performances like Sunday's might keep Worley's name in the mix if another starter gets hurt.

Nathan Eovaldi SP | TEX
Yankees' Nathan Eovaldi: Hit hard versus Red Sox
Eovaldi was hit hard by the Red Sox on Sunday, allowing six runs on 10 hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out three and did not factor into the decision.
Eovaldi tossed seven shutout innings in his previous start, but he was hit early and often Sunday en route to allowing his most earned runs of the young season. His ERA now sits at 5.46 and he has allowed at least three runs in four of five starts this season, making him less than attractive from a fantasy perspective against the same Boston lineup Saturday in New York.
-
Yu Darvish SP | SD
Rangers' Yu Darvish: Pitches well in rehab debut.
Darvish (elbow) fired two hitless innings in his first rehab start at Double-A Frisco on Sunday.
Darvish struck out two, walked one and threw 32 pitches. He hit 97 mph on the stadium radar gun and is expected to make his second rehab start later this week.

Taijuan Walker SP | LAA
Mariners' Taijuan Walker: Suffers first lost of season versus Royals
Walker suffered his first loss of the season Sunday versus the Royals, allowing three runs (two earned) on seven hits with four strikeouts across five innings.
The right-hander entered Sunday's start on the back of a streak of four consecutive quality starts, but he threw 96 pitches through five frames and was lifted before the sixth. Walker may have taken the loss Sunday, but his 1.80 ERA and 8.7 K/9 through five starts indicate that he could finally be ready to deliver on the promise that made him a highly-touted prospect. His next start will come Friday at Houston.

Ricky Nolasco SP | ARI
Twins' Ricky Nolasco: Allows five runs Sunday
Nolasco allowed five runs on eight hits while striking out four over 5.2 innings, but received no decision Sunday against the Tigers.
Nolasco gave up a three-run homer to Nick Castellanos to end his day and erase a 5-2 lead that he was given. He's now allowed at least four earned runs in three of his last four starts to raise his ERA to 4.05 despite owning an excellent 0.99 WHIP. He'll make his next start Saturday against the White Sox.
