Marcus Stroman SP | NYY
Blue Jays' Marcus Stroman: Start pushed to Monday
Stroman's next start has been pushed back to Monday against the White Sox, as Drew Hutchison will get a spot start Sunday against the A's, John Hickey of Bay Area News reports.
The move to get Hutchison a start was made in order to try to manage Stroman's innings, and Aaron Sanchez's innings. With that in mind, it would not be surprising if the Blue Jays employ this tactic several other times over the next couple months, especially if Hutchison is up to the task.

Jose Quintana SP | COL
White Sox's Jose Quintana: Seven shutout innings
Quintana (2-1) pitched seven shutout innings while allowing four hits and two walks while striking out four to earn the win Friday against the Rangers.
For the third time in four starts, the White Sox provided Quintana with at least four runs, which is something that happened infrequently in 2015. He's yet to give up more than two earned runs in any of his starts so far, and he lowered his ERA to 1.82 this month. He'll make his next start Wednesday at the Blue Jays.

Martin Perez SP | ATL
Rangers' Martin Perez: Allows five runs
Perez (0-2) allowed five runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two over 5.2 innings to take the loss Friday at the White Sox.
Perez allowed two runs in the first five innings to keep the game close, but he fell apart in the sixth inning when he was chased after allowing three more runs. Until this start, he had recorded quality starts in each of his three other outings, but his rough outing moved his ERA up to 4.50. He'll look to get back on track in his next start Wednesday against the Yankees.

Kyle Gibson SP | BAL
Twins' Kyle Gibson: Battered in loss to Washington
Gibson allowed seven runs on seven hits, walking two and striking out one while lasting just three innings in an 8-4 loss to the Nationals on Friday night.
Gibson (0-3) struggled again, and has posted just one quality start in four outings to date. He was generally throwing strikes (43 strikes on 67 pitches) but he wasn't fooling anyone as his saw his ERA soar to an ugly 6.10 on the season. He'll try to get on track in his next start at home against Cleveland.

Blake Snell SP | LAD
Rays' Blake Snell: Activated prior to Saturday's start
Snell was added to the Rays' active roster Friday in advance of Saturday's spot start against the Yankees.
One of the top five or six pitching prospects in the game, Snell will make his highly-anticipated big league debut Saturday in Yankee Stadium. The Rays have gone out of their way to say that Snell will be optioned back to Triple-A Durham after Saturday's start, but a successful outing could go a long way towards getting him back up sooner than later. The Rays have already gained an extra year of control by holding Snell down this long, and Erasmo Ramirez's emergence as a solidifying force in the bullpen led to Snell debuting in the rotation a little earlier than expected. He is worth a spot start in shallower mixed leagues with daily roster transactions, but he was likely already rostered in deeper mixed leagues prior to the announcement of the spot start.

Kevin Gausman SP | CHC
Orioles' Kevin Gausman: Slated to start Monday
Gausman (shoulder) is slated to start Monday against the Rays, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports.
The right-hander cleared the final hurdle on his road back from a shoulder injury, tossing 5.2 innings for Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday (91 pitches). He turned in a 19:5 K:BB across three levels during his minor league rehab assignment. His second start of the week will come at home against a White Sox team that currently ranks 14th in the AL in scoring (48 runs).

Vance Worley SP | NYM
Orioles' Vance Worley: Available in relief Friday
Worley will be available out of the bullpen beginning Friday, Brittany Ghiroli of MLB.com reports.
Tyler Wilson will get the nod Saturday against the Royals, and with Kevin Gausman (shoulder) slated to return early next week, Worley's window to start appears to have slammed shut. Worley has given up six earned runs on 11 hits and three walks in 10.2 innings so far this season.

Blake Snell SP | LAD
Rays' Blake Snell: To be optioned after Saturday's start
Manager Kevin Cash said Friday that the Rays plan on having Snell make one start before being optioned back to Triple-A Durham, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Snell is set to make his big league debut in Yankee Stadium on Saturday, but those adding him in non-keeper formats may want to reconsider that transaction for the time being given that this will be a one-start stint. While it's clear that Snell is the Rays' most prized pitching prospect, it's also clear that the organization will be patient with him before making him a full member of the rotation. After Snell heads back to Durham following Saturday's start, he figures to remain in the Triple-A rotation until the Rays need another spot starter.

Lance McCullers SP | MIL
Astros' Lance McCullers: Completes another bullpen session
McCullers threw another bullpen session Friday and felt "really good," according to manager A.J. Hinch, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Two days after his return to elevated ground, McCullers got back onto the bullpen mound for more work, and it sounds like everything went according to plan. The team pumped the brakes and scratched McCullers from his scheduled rehab start last weekend, but if he responds well to Friday's session, McCullers will likely head out to join a minor league affiliate in short order.

Yu Darvish SP | SD
Rangers' Yu Darvish: Will not begin rehab assignment Tuesday
Darvish (elbow) will not begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Frisco on Tuesday, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Instead, Darvish will face live hitters in a controlled environment once more, but there has been nothing to suggest he suffered a setback of any kind. It seems the Rangers are just being cautious with the right-hander as he works his way back from Tommy John surgery. Darvish threw his first live session less than 10 days ago.
