Lopez (4-2) earned the win over Milwaukee on Saturday, allowing two hits and issuing two walks while striking out six batters over six scoreless innings.

Lopez racked up 14 whiffs and didn't allow any extra-base hits to cruise to his third victory over his past five starts. The right-hander finished with his third quality start of the campaign and lowered his season ERA to 2.40. Lopez has struck out at least six batters in each of his past six outings, posting a 41:8 K:BB over 33 innings during that span. He's projected to face the Royals in his next start.

Giolito tossed four innings, allowing six runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out three batters in a no-decision against Atlanta on Saturday.

Giolito gave up a trio of homers in the outing, including two in the first inning. The right-hander needed 87 pitches to get through four frames, and he yielded six runs for the second time in four starts since returning from the injured list to make his season debut April 30. Giolito looked like he had shaken off the rust in his previous start, when he allowed just one run over 6.2 frames in a victory over the Royals, but Saturday's poor performance was a step backward. He now holds a 7.08 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 17:6 K:BB through 20.1 innings on the campaign.

Rasmussen (2-4) earned the win against the Marlins on Saturday, allowing four hits and no walks while striking out five over six scoreless innings.

Rasmussen needed only 81 pitches to complete six frames for the first time this year. While Saturday marked his first win since his season debut March 31, the 29-year-old has allowed three earned runs or fewer in eight of nine starts. He'll carry a 2.93 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 40:10 K:BB across 46 innings into a home matchup with the Blue Jays next weekend.

Valdez will start Sunday's game against the Rangers, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Valdez was originally slated to start Monday, but the Astros appear set to return to a five-man rotation. He'll still be on regular rest and has worked at least seven innings in three of his last four starts. Ryan Gusto looks to be destined for a relief role as a result of this move.

Olson came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Blue Jays, scattering one hit and one walk over six scoreless innings. He struck out six.

The right-hander faced only one batter above the minimum and didn't let a Toronto runner get past first base in his third quality start of the season, but Olson saw his fifth win of the year slip away when the Detroit bullpen fell apart late. He's blanked the opposition in four of his last six trips to the mound, posting a 1.60 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 38:11 K:BB through 33.2 innings over that stretch. Olson will look to keep rolling in his next start, which lines up to come at home next week against the Guardians.

Burke (2-5) took the loss Saturday, coughing up six runs (five earned) on seven hits and five walks over 4.2 innings as the White Sox were downed 7-3 by the Cubs. He struck out four.

It's the third time in nine starts that Burke has been tagged for at least five earned runs, and the 25-year-old righty's control continues to desert him -- he's issued a career-worst five free passes in back-to-back outings and multiple walks in eight straight. Burke will carry a 4.69 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 33:27 K:BB through 48 innings into his next trip to the mound, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Rangers.

Schmidt didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Mets, allowing two runs on three hits and five walks over six innings. He struck out five.

The five free passes tied Schmidt's career high, but he was able to limit the damage and deliver his third straight quality start on 88 pitches (53 strikes). The right-hander will carry a 4.41 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 30:17 K:BB through 32.2 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next week against the Rangers.

Gilbert (elbow) threw a 25-pitch bullpen session Saturday, Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com reports.

Gilbert threw off a mound for the second time since landing on the injured list in late April, though he didn't increase his pitch count. It's a positive sign that he's been able to throw off a mound two times in the span of five days, but the Mariners haven't yet provided a clear timeline for his return. Per Daniel Kramer of MLB.com, Gilbert will require another bullpen session before progressing to live batting practice.

Ginn (elbow) will be activated off the injured list to start Monday's game against the Angels, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Ginn landed on the injured list in late April due to right elbow inflammation. He pitched in a rehab game at Triple-A Las Vegas on Wednesday and tossed 3.1 shutout innings while striking out five batters and walking two. Because his minor-league outing was so brief, he may work under a workload restriction during his first start back with the A's, though the team hasn't confirmed any such plans.

The Guardians activated Cecconi (oblique) from the 15-day injured list Saturday.

Cecconi suffered a left oblique strain in mid-March and began the regular season on the IL. He's getting the start against Cincinnati in his return to the big-league roster Saturday after topping out at 5.2 innings in three rehab outings. Cecconi will take the spot in Cleveland's rotation that had previously been occupied by Ben Lively, who landed on the injured list Tuesday due to a right flexor strain.
