Royals manager Matt Quatraro said that Ragans (shoulder) threw an "up-down" bullpen session Sunday, MLB.com reports.

Ragans is making steady progress in his recovery from a left rotator cuff strain, having now completed five bullpen sessions. Quatraro noted that the southpaw has been feeling good throughout the process, and Ragans' next step in his rehab will be facing live hitters. Ragans has been on the shelf since mid-June, but the Royals remain optimistic that the 27-year-old can return to the rotation before the end of the season.

Estes allowed a hit and no walks with a strikeout over four scoreless innings in Sunday's 11-4 loss to the Mariners.

Estes was called on to eat innings in Sunday's blowout loss and delivered four scoreless frames out of the bullpen. It marked his first big-league appearance since April 6, when he opened the year in the rotation and gave up 12 earned runs over seven innings across two starts. With the Athletics' rotation dealing with injuries, Estes could play his way back into a starting role before season's end.

Pepiot (9-10) picked up the win Sunday against St. Louis, allowing one hit and one walk across five scoreless innings. He struck out three.

Pepiot had no issues with the Cardinals' lineup, allowing just two baserunners in five innings of work. Surprisingly, he was pulled after five innings and 63 pitches. An injury hasn't been reported, so it seems as though the Rays are limiting his innings in the closing stages of the regular season. Pepiot has thrown a career-high 153 innings in 2025, topping his previous high of 130 innings set last season. The 28-year-old hadn't thrown fewer than 84 pitches in an appearance since June 27. He had allowed 17 runs across four starts spanning 21.2 innings before Sunday's outing. Pepiot is lined up to face the Nationals next weekend.

Rogers (7-2) picked up the win Sunday against Houston, allowing one run on five hits and three walks across seven innings. He struck out nine.

Rogers' stretch of outstanding play continued against Houston -- he allowed fewer than two runs for a sixth straight start. He's completed at least seven innings in five of those appearances, owning a 1.07 ERA and a 41:7 K:BB across 42 innings during that stretch. The left-hander has a 1.40 ERA in 83.1 innings this season. He hasn't posted a sub-4.00 ERA since the 2021 campaign. Rogers will look to keep rolling in his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to come in San Francisco.

Arrighetti (1-5) took the loss Sunday against Baltimore, allowing two runs on six hits and no walks across 5.2 innings. He struck out two.

Arrighetti was stuck with a fifth straight loss despite coming one out short of a quality start. The 25-year-old has been inconsistent since returning Aug. 6 from a four-month IL stint due to a right thumb fracture. He's yielded five runs in two of his four starts and has allowed two runs in each of his other two appearances. Since coming off the injured list, Arrighetti has logged a 6.52 ERA and a 15:10 K:BB across 19.1 innings. He's on track to face the Angels next weekend.

Rodon (14-7) allowed two runs on one hit and five walks while striking out three over 5.2 innings to earn the win over the Red Sox on Sunday.

Rodon has issued a season-high five walks in three of his last seven starts. He was largely able to work around his control issues Sunday, as he gave the Red Sox little to hit, with only a two-run single by Nathaniel Lowe in the sixth inning marring Rodon's line. The 32-year-old southpaw is now at a 3.24 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 172:65 K:BB through 158.1 innings across 27 starts. He's projected for a favorable road start versus the White Sox in his next outing.

Fitts is expected to operate as a bulk reliever behind opening pitcher Brennan Bernardino in Monday's game against Baltimore, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.

Fitts was called up from Triple-A Worcester on Thursday and was made available out of the bullpen, but the Red Sox stayed away from using him during their four-game weekend series versus the Yankees. The right-hander thus isn't expected to face any restrictions with his workload once he likely enters the game after Bernardino covers the first inning or two. Fitts has previously served as a starter in all 10 of his appearances with Boston this season, compiling a 4.83 ERA and 1.32 WHIP with 34 strikeouts over 41 innings.

May (7-10) allowed five runs on five hits and three walks while striking out three over 4.1 innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Yankees.

May is now 1-3 with 10 runs allowed over 20 innings across his four starts with the Red Sox. The long ball was his primary issue Sunday, as he allowed a two-run home run to Jazz Chisholm and a pair of solo shots to Trent Grisham. On the year, May is now at a 4.79 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 117:50 K:BB through 124 innings over 23 games (22 starts). May's next start is projected to be at home versus the Pirates.

Gausman (8-10) took the loss against the Marlins on Sunday, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk with seven strikeouts over six innings.

Gausman was locked in a pitcher's duel with Eury Perez before giving up a bases-loaded triple in the fifth. It marked only the second time in seven outings since the All-Star break that the 34-year-old allowed more than two earned runs, a stretch that includes four quality starts and a 3.07 ERA. He'll carry a 3.87 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 149:43 K:BB across 153.2 innings this season into a home matchup with the Brewers next weekend.

Hendricks (6-9) took the loss Sunday against the Cubs, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out two.

The Angels right-hander conceded three or more free passes for the sixth time this season in his first ever appearance against his former club. Hendricks limited the Chicago lineup -- yielding two doubles and three singles -- but wound up being tagged with three or more runs for the third consecutive outing. The 35-year-old remains difficult to roster in fantasy thanks to a 5.04 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 87:37 K:BB over 130.1 total frames while giving up 21 homers. Hendricks is currently in line to make his next start at Houston next weekend.
